it is amazing to see how much thought and effort you pour out- thinking so far ahead and getting everything bought and labeled and set up so that there is no wondering if you will be able to find enough of the right thing at the right time to pack- its all sitting there labeled and ready to be tucked into luggage or backpacks and you can actually get out the door and into the adventure with everyone having what they need on the day.. Way to rock going on a trip with kids- let alone going on a trip with 14 of you! you amaze me.
To each their own style of organizing, of course. I was thinking if you laid out each persons pile of clothes/coats/etc. on your bed - maybe 4 down each side and six across the bottom. Sort the coats into each persons pile, then the hats/gloves, then Jammie’s, then undies, etc. that way you only have to sort through the huge pile of random clothing once - if you’re not sure about sizes, the piles are all laid out, to make it easier to see. Then start unwrapping all the packages into a trash can or bag to reduce the clutter. Then each pile is ready to be labeled and bagged up and/or packed into a suitcase for each person. I feel bad for you cus you rethink and retouch everything so many times. It would be more efficient to sort into ordered piles. Have so much fun in nyc!
Serious question Alicia .... why do you buy brand new everything for vacations? And you make everyone put their underwear all in the same suitcase? That's not right man give them older kids some privacy not everyone digging through the same bag for underwear 😟 why would it be harder for everyone to have their own suitcases ? You're dangerously controlling is my assumption for all of this .
Why do You cut all the tags off everything before u make sure everything fits the person it’s for .. I mean I know u know the sizes put some stuff run small of big n would be hard to return or exchange without tags

This was exactly my thought as well to understand the need of buying everything new for every single trip. I mean these kind of things can always be reusable for another trip or purposes.
The jackets are a must! It’ll be cold and windy coming in and out of shows or hotel rooms. Not to mention being in line for a pretzel might get a little long! Happy holidays 🎉
I've done it about 3x in my life. I live in South Florida though, therefore it's always been way to uncomfortably cold. Besides that it's magical. They say Christmas time in Berlin, Germany is even more magical yet colder.. Still on my retirement bucket list. Happy Holidays!!
I know this video is old, but I'll still say it: Have everyone wear their coats. Saves space and someone is bound to get cold. Even can be used for a pillow or blanket. ❤ I love it
There’s a lot of money wasted on these clothes and bags ! You already got these things when you went to NYC a few months ago ! You keep saying your water tank needs sorting maybe spend money on your home , I think each child should have a bank account set up and money put into that with only a couple of gifts on birthdays and Christmas they would appreciate them more ! Did you buy all those iPhones for the trip? Or Christmas? Far too extravagant! The older kids already have iPhones 🤔
The city is the issue with the septic. It's out of their control. As for everything else, their choice. These coats are heated since they will be doing a lot of walking in cold weather. Do you know the kids don't have a bank account? Have you seen their Financials? I'm guessing no. And who tells people how to spend their money? And how many gifts they should buy for THEIR children?? Like WHO even does that???
Exactly what I was thinking have you seen those videos of people in Third World countries making those items? Gag! People using their feet to help sew the items throwing them on a dirty floor and People sick etc. not to mention the color possibly rubbing off!
Does all the clothes and shoes that you pick, buy, tear off tags and label actually fit everybody and they are comfortable? Not every shoe nor clothes fit everyone the same. Just wondering.
@Ann Zalewski I mean honestly do you think she cares? She'll just by different ones then toss the ones that don't fit into the hoard to never be seen again.
@@ksmiley013 that’s a horrible thing say. So judgmental & not only that as none of us live with them we have no idea what their needs are. I only have 2 kids & they constantly wear clothing out & loose it.

Sorry but I'm frugal. They would be wearing a coat hat and gloves they already had. Also use a backpack and blanket from last trip. When u get home from a trip put them up and reuse them.
Why wouldn’t you use 1 empty box per person to put all their things in?Instead of having everything scattered all around. Easier to pack because you will have it all in one place.

When you have that many kids and all the same bag, it makes sense for them to be labeled. Sure, maybe not that big or visible, but their names definitely need to be on it, maybe in a more obscure spot.
You need one of the sharpie that’s has a clip that you can clip on a necklace then you can t loose it! I think Bree should try on those red plaid pjs I don’t think they’re going to fit her. All the kids should try on the shoes too. Also those bags the coats came in would make great packing cubes!

How many coats do those children need I would be better to donate all the other coats to children who do not have coats. It is being selfish to hoard that many coats and clothes. It's not safe to put the names on the outside of the backpacks.
you think she cares about safety? lol
@@Elena-er7zp did something happen to say people are writing this under their videos? Just curious lol
Agree, but she doesn’t care -
She’s not the first person to put someone’s name on a backpack and how does that mean or show she doesn’t care
@@lindsaydibella5142 it’s a safety thing & she simply doesn’t care about their safety, especially the little kids
it is amazing to see how much thought and effort you pour out- thinking so far ahead and getting everything bought and labeled and set up so that there is no wondering if you will be able to find enough of the right thing at the right time to pack- its all sitting there labeled and ready to be tucked into luggage or backpacks and you can actually get out the door and into the adventure with everyone having what they need on the day..
I'm huge on organizing and this is exactly what I'd do. Great suggestion!
She probably never takes anything back. She just replaces it.
Always wash new underwear to get rid of dye that can cause infections.
Don’t say their sizes. Saying “it’s a 3xl, ohhhhh that’s definitely James” like are you trying to get him bullied? Watch ur words when you are posting them everywhere to be picked on.
Yea cause she really gonna listen to a complete stranger!! She the last one to preach to about bullying!
Well... What about "be kind"? Saying sizes doesn't mean bullying... If someone is bullying for sized, they have to watch their words.
@@kolbi-sis she might not of meant it but that’s the internet and teens now a days they will bully anyone for anything and this paints a target

Crazy spending especially when you spent hundreds for the trip to New York and Atlantic City earlier this year. Not forgetting, every single birthday..... crazy!
She craves the attention.
Don’t understand why it bothers you your not paying for it. Stößt they are going places and doing things they probably wouldn’t have gotten the chance
Have you ordered the next set of lockers yet?
Why do you always have to buy new stuff when you already have so many options ? Also they don’t always have to match and be labeled. That is actually not a good idea to have your kids name on backpacks and walk around that way. I hope you listen to all these comments & not just ignore it.

The jackets are a must! It’ll be cold and windy coming in and out of shows or hotel rooms. Not to mention being in line for a pretzel might get a little long! Happy holidays 🎉
New York at Christmas is my dream holiday ✨️😍
I've done it about 3x in my life. I live in South Florida though, therefore it's always been way to uncomfortably cold. Besides that it's magical. They say Christmas time in Berlin, Germany is even more magical yet colder.. Still on my retirement bucket list. Happy Holidays!!
Do you get new back packs for every trip you do?
I know this video is old, but I'll still say it: Have everyone wear their coats. Saves space and someone is bound to get cold. Even can be used for a pillow or blanket. ❤
I love it

Love watching your blogs! You are so organized!!!
Like WHO even does that???
are you going to contribute money in those bank accounts?
There growing kids you except them to where clothes that don't fit?
I never did nor did I allow my kids to wear new clothes without washing them first. The manufacturers even say you should.
Exactly what I was thinking have you seen those videos of people in Third World countries making those items? Gag! People using their feet to help sew the items throwing them on a dirty floor and People sick etc. not to mention the color possibly rubbing off!
@@gillianmendez9488 my man thinks I'm nuts that I make him wash everything before wearing it.
I think Maybe a spreadsheet might help you. When you order put the size of each kid you ordered that way you can ✔️ it off when you get it
Does all the clothes and shoes that you pick, buy, tear off tags and label actually fit everybody and they are comfortable? Not every shoe nor clothes fit everyone the same. Just wondering.
@Ann Zalewski I mean honestly do you think she cares? She'll just by different ones then toss the ones that don't fit into the hoard to never be seen again.

Clearly you’ve never had money like this and don’t know how to act right nor manage it. This won’t last forever Alicia. You need to put the money you spend on all the *unnecessary BS* for each child into their own savings account *at the bank* that you can’t withdraw from, just deposit into.

How do you know she isn't?
Why not go tell celebrities this who have multiple million dollar houses, tons of cars and designer clothing. She is caring for her children, buying nice coats and winter clothing lol. Not that big of a deal. Do you have kids? Do you know how fast they go through clothing? Let her spend her money on her family.
Aren’t u just back from NY? I used to admire u. More money than sense the more I watch. Wouldn’t even entertain watching another video.
🤦🏻♀️ This is insane! Your very lucky in this Recession that you can Afford this& Money is No Object…
Is my mom going to want her phone back? Probably. Am I going to watch this for two hours? Definitely!
With all this money she earns off social media/UA-cam you would think she would buy a new pair of 👖 jeans lol, she wears the same pair all the time.
why so much stuff if a week 3 or 4 pants n some shirts long John's nor Hoodia n heavey coat n 2 pairs of shoes( tennis n snow gear type) hygienic products n underwear. unless driving then some snacks n blankets that stay in van
You and Nana have the exact same laugh! I hope you have lots of fun on your trip!
I was wondering what you do with clothing the kids grow out of. Hand-me-downs, or recycle ♻️ to Goodwill?
You should get new laundry baskets for everyone and 14 different duct tapes and assign each family member a color or pattern then you could set up the baskets sort every ones items into their basket. Then it would be easier to to label.
If I had a ton of cash, I'd definitely own more then 1 pair of jeans
Haha I posted a similar comment, but I'm getting harassed by her cult followers.
She does own more than one but they are all ripped. She's too old to dress like a teenie bopper. She also needs to buy.herself some more shirts and sweaters. She wears the same 5 tops
🤣🤣 almost every video shes got the same jeans on, she buys so much unnecessary things for the kids but cant afford a few new jeans for herself🤦♀️🤦♀️
I agree I’ve been saying for a longtime, does she ever wash them if so when???

May I suggest putting the bundles of labelled clothes in the suitcase to save on time packing later. On the outside of the suitcase you can use sticky note to list things need like Zoe's undergarments for example.
Why not buy a house with all the money you spend?? Then kids wouldn’t have to sleep in the basement
The audacity of telling someone else how to spend their money 🙄 the kids all sleep in finished bedrooms, and many houses have bedrooms in the basement.
O my some people’s basements are nicer than some people’s homes😏
You should get the packing cubes. You could organize everything by person. I organize packing by a day. Socks, undies, clothes folded together
I live in Borneo, watch how you care for your kids, 12kids not easy and most important part is being feed and cloth. May God bless you always and enjoy NYC.
All I can think of is the Home Alone Movies. I don't envy the adults constantly making sure everyone is together. I do pray you enjoy your trip.

A good suggestion is to have a bin for each person with their name on it so you can sort quicker
I’m so glad to see I am not the only one who buys new socks for vacation!!🤣
If I had to sort all those pax of sox pjs etc I think it’s easier to lay them out on a table first by name in piles then put in named bags rather than heaps all over the floor - so muddy!
Yup
Hey D family have a safe trip & stay warm! ❄️☃️
Your not gonna wash any of this? Especially the underwear and socks😧🤮
I feel like it was just my mom but she always put our hats and gloves in the sleeves of our coat and then folded them all together for us as kids.😅
This is soooo uncalled for spending! I mean we just seen where u were going threw there hats and gloves. There was plenty. Wow just wow
So who cares it's her money. Shes buying clothes for them to keep them warm and healthy whats wrong with that.
I don't like the idea of having names on the childrens backpacks. It gives predators a leg up knowing their names.
Lol ur kidding right 🤣 that's lame sorry. When I was a kid everything of mine had my name on it no big deal.
It actually WAS proven that being able to learn the kids name makes it easier to kidnap a kid. Kids are much more trusting if a stranger knows their name.

I agree but wondering where all their coats are in their lockers...
It's hard to imagine the kids didn't already have 5 pairs of socks and underwear.
Your mom never got you new socks and underwear before a trip?
I don’t think I would want my underwear shown online.
And three or four jackets.
this time don’t put their names on the backpack there’s a lot of weirdos there
When you have that many kids and all the same bag, it makes sense for them to be labeled. Sure, maybe not that big or visible, but their names definitely need to be on it, maybe in a more obscure spot.
Who’s gonna tell her you’re supposed to wash new clothing before you wear it?
With all the matching stuff and names it reminds me of a prison…with mandated clothing, etc. It is VERY odd.
Yes , especially since she’s always doing everything for them
You need one of the sharpie that’s has a clip that you can clip on a necklace then you can t loose it! I think Bree should try on those red plaid pjs I don’t think they’re going to fit her. All the kids should try on the shoes too. Also those bags the coats came in would make great packing cubes!
I went to nyc this time last year and it was such good weather it was 55-60 degrees but.. it’s kinda windy in between the buildings I would say take the coats, If you go to Central Park and such where there’s not a ton of large buildings it does feel so much colder ❤
What about iron on patches? Maybe not names, but different things that the kids know that it is theirs.
I am so impressed with how you can organize the 14 for a trip! I just have 3 and its tough just to remember.
Alicia was trained as teacher and organizing groups for just about everything it is in her blood :). Also, she must have short order cooking skills in her blood as well :):)

How many coats do those children need I would be better to donate all the other coats to children who do not have coats. It is being selfish to hoard that many coats and clothes. You should use money to buy a new house with laundry and a bedroom for each child instead of taking a trip to New York. These children do not know what earning for something you want. What is going to happen when they leave home and you are not there to make their sandwiches and clean up after them. They will be in for a rude awaking when they can just get what they want.
If you actually watch her videos she donated everything!!! Pay attention.
No she did not.
The other jackets were donated last season because they didn't fit
Kids go through clothing quickly and where they are, nice coats are a definite must. Her children are actually getting a childhood ( which some might not have had and did not have) they are having experiences, clothes on their backs, food on the table and have parents that love and take good care of them. The older kids are well mannered and always helping out. Seems to me she is doing just fine.
I would keep the bags the jackets came in because you can put them back in the bags to store when the season is over
