- Everton Stadium is now one year into its monumental build - and is already changing the city skyline.
From a water-filled, semi-derelict dock, the site is quickly transforming into the Club’s new home.
We take a look back at a momentous 12-months at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Amazing how they build these things. From scaled plans to 100% replication on the ground. Incredible.
Truly incredible to try to wrap your mind about how these huge projects like this come together, from the financing all the way to the building.
Goodison will always be in my heart it was the first football ground I had ever been to

I miss Highbury, but an extra 22,000 seats just makes sense in so many ways. Better view from seats and no pillars obstructing views.
A crying shame that we will lose one of Englands iconic stadiums, so much history and memories attached to this great theatre of football.

@@vlz.matthew Yip, was there Saturday (Forest game) having paid extra for "non-obstructed view".....bollards....Steel column in front of me and the roof trusses blocking views......minor distraction to a great day out, great atmosphere. New stadium looks fantastic.....the person who owns that cafe immediately in front of Bramley Dock on the Dock Road must be laughing all the way to the bank 🏦
Why they didnt invest in Goodison park... So u guys have alot of history and memories just renew dat one. Like the old vibe with renewal. It will be awesome

66 year old Sheffield United fan here.
Really going to miss Goodson, it has always been my favourite ‘away’ ground due to its fantastic atmosphere.
Hope the new stadium can replicate that atmosphere, good luck.

Congratulations, Everton! I'm from Brazil and I'm a huge fan of the Premier League. I wish all the best for the team and for this new stadium. The Everton will be even more Great in the Premier League and Uefa Champions League too. For now, I keep following the Premier League on the Star + but I hope someday I can be there to see this stadium and I'll be very Glad for being watching Everton there.

Love Goodison park it’s a proper old school stadium but I’m sure the fans will be happy to see something lovely like this being built to create new memories
I’ll be honest I didn’t think they’d be able to get the funding to build it but glad it’s been approved

I remember watching the spurs stadium go up. I would check the cameras every day and checking Skyscrapercity forum. Unbelievable to watch and must be exciting as an Everton fan. Shame about their on field antics. Enjoy it, as thinking about it I miss it.

tbh when its completed it will truly be an highlight with landscape and sea view. Meanwhile chelsea is still at 40k seating.
I wouldn't exactly call it a sea view, more like a shit view. You'll get the smell of oilseed rape, soya and other animal feed wafting over and not forgetting the amount of seagulls that'll just shit everywhere 🤦♂️🤦♂️

ΑEK fan here from Greece. Our stadium is almost completed after 19 years being without it. Check agia Sofia stadium, its not just an another football stadium, it has a really unique design.

Jakarta Internasional Stadium in Indonesia built mostly with precast concrete while in England most of stadium mostly built with steel.
