dude your supposed to use the black wax crayon to fill in the scratch thecolored wax "Crayon type" stick you can use to literally fill very deep or wide scratches with before you apply a top coat of colored or black car wax.

no only if it needs it, claybar analogy, when you comb your hair, do you wash it everytime ? no only when it's dirty, comb afterwards is better, but you dont need to wash your hair everytime you need to comb it
