Ranice Tan yea but you got to think of it like this and to begin with comparing these two brands have different retail price tags because of the quality and luxury especially the limited quantity Richard Mille offers.
It's literally all about branding and marketing. Luxury goods and Veblen goods depend more on exclusivity factor than anything else and GS lacks that......beacuse its affordable. The craftsmanship, quality parts are usually very much secondary to marketing the brand as something to aspire.

That being said I actually like the watches to me they're creative and I would love to see some of those aspects in an ALS or patek or any of the classic watchmakers

Glorified G-Shock or not, you have to respect the marketing tactics that are going on behind the scenes. The watch itself costs around 15K to make, and if its a tourbillion or a grand complication probably around 20-25K. But, simultaneously being sold for 150K plus retail, and can even triple or quadruple in resale. AP, Patek, Rolex, have all been around for decades if not centuries, and have never been this sought after (Unless we're talking nautilus' or jumbo royal oaks), but RM has everything sold out! Hats off to Mr. Richard Mille, this is unprecedented!

Plus it has the week of the year around the whole dial. I wish a watch offered the same exact functions as this ap. Can’t find anything for a few thousand with the same styling.

It's Far from its avant-garde hi tech sportswatch roots wherein they were associated with the exotic supercars and the individuals who drove them in places like Monte Carlo or on Superyachts cruising the Italian and French Riviera. Now it seems RM is headed the way like all those oversized gem or diamond encrusted watches hip hop artists used to wear before them.
