    Fascinating... glad to find this. My grandfather was a prisoner there in 1944.

    I was a prisoner there in 1968-1969 was discharged from USMC March of 1969 with bad conduct discharge was there 6 mouths l am 72 years old now

      If I could go back to change what happened I wouldn't because if you change one thing your life would have been different and I love the life I've lived and helped more than I would have if I wasn't the person I am

      Not possible, you have to pass through a Navy Nuclear Submarine base to get there, small island, no parking, and the neighborhood outside the gate is a small quiet neighborhood.

      Even back in the 90s when I worked at the Navy yard it was falling apart- some of my shipmates went in and thought they were going to fall through the flooring. It's probably fine if you want to fly a drone in there and get videos under the ruse of making a documentary.
