    Very good video! You were really brave cutting out that rubbery switch cover.
    Have you figured out if it is possible to disassemble the motor part to replace the motor brushes?
    Have you seen any screws or how the motor part is attached to the body?

      In my case the motor was running so there was no need to disassemble it. But I suspect it could be tricky because it is of course linked to the lower part of the blender. Sorry that I am not able to help you out.

    Gut gemacht, sehr hilfreich.

    Thanks for the clear instructions. I need to replace the power cord on mine because it's splitting all over. I couldn't see how that goes in and whether it is a special part. Could you take a picture of the cord at the place it connects inside the mixer?

      Unfortunately I do not have the blender anymore because it was a friends. I stopped the video at 6:52 to get an picture of the cable. In fact it is specially designed for the blender and you will have a hard time in getting a spare part. I suggest that you use any cable and carefully fix it with some hot glue where it enters the casing.Maybe you will have to shape the glue afterwards carefully with a sharp knife (without damaging the cable!).

    Hi, I have the same problem. The fuse was carbonized! Could you please tell me whats the number or id of the thermistor? I would like to repair the blender but I don´t know what fuse I have to buy. Regards!

    • @urbanberg8034
      @urbanberg8034  3 роки тому

      I think a NTC-Thermistor, 5 Ohm, 7,5 A should do. But please note: I do not give any warranty on this!

    what was the symptom of your hand blender before you fixed it? Was it completely dead or was it cutting in and out and turning slowly? Trying to diagnose my own hand blender, Thanks

    • @urbanberg8034
      @urbanberg8034  4 роки тому

      My hand blender was completely dead because my wife burned the power cable and thus might have produced some electric shock. This must have killed the thermistor, which functions as a temperature fuse. I am not able to diagnose your problem...

      @@ricoIII Thank you so much. will see if this can make it work again because at first view it looks like an electrical problem like a capacitor not working good or something like that but when i came to this video to dismount it and check the controller circuit board there was no damage at all on the components.
      Again thank you a lot and of course thanks to @Urban Berg too

      There is no "first video". I explained clearly that you will have to proceed in the reverse order. It seems to me, that others understood this well. If you follow my instructions, you should be able to take the thing apart and fix it again. If you have any further questions, please let me know.

    Too bad you didn't show the replacement of the part, or point out the difference between the broken and new if there are any, but good video. Btw you sound like the doctor in Human Centipede.

    It is the worst brand to repair with its solutions Indemontable!!! .
    I can't disassemble the motor to change the brushes.
    Maybe you have to break the whole thing !!!
    it's better to buy a very modest brand at a good price ( 20 euros) than to invest in Kitchenaids at 350euros
