I can trust you to do a thorough job and taking us along the whole journey. Love the format. It's better than some youtubers click baiting a plant transformation and then not showing us the result.
I found out bonsai training pots work wonders for this plant since their roots don't go that deep and with the pot being wide it helps keep it from looking awful when over flowing I use coco chunks as a mulching layer and throughout the soil to make it more airy and so far she's happy, when I first got her I checked the roots and with most of my cuttings I like to give them tps nutrients root booster just so they make an easier transition and so far they love it
I really enjoyed this video with the updates! Thank you for taking the time to make this! The mama plants looks soo good~ I personally would stick all those baby plants back into the mama and make her a THICC bebe 🤣💚 Or sell each of those little babies off!
I saw where someone transplanted into a larger container allowing the bare stems to hit the growing medium. It saved many months of growing time as each node rooted and sprouted new growth. Like growing along the jungle floor as its a spreading orchard
Thank you for this! I just got a jewel orchid & started venturing for videos on youtube. I came across your video & I love how detailed you are with each step, and really appreciate the monthly follow-ups on how they grew in 3 months. Great content, and it help me feel more confident that I can take good care of this plant.
oml you would make a fortune selling cuttings roflllllll, but jewel orchids do NOT like to be wet, so i would leave out the spaghum unless your doing cuttings
I happen to have one of these that’s super leggy from going through a few heatwaves this summer. Now I know what to do with it! Thanks so much for this video!!
It’s doing amazing!! The leaf that was coming out is the biggest so far. And the next one is on its way 🥳 I need to find a spot for it to hang bc the newest leaf is toooo long
this is just what i wanted to see today... last week i pulled my jewel orchid from the hoya tree (tangerine tree that shades all my hoyas) and that's exactly how my jewel orchid looked... it was there for over 4 years... but i watered it, twice already, and yesterday before watching the video i transplanted it, but wanted to see if i could trim it back... i think i'm going to put it in a bigger pot with some aroid mix, and do exactly what you did... thank you...
A Full And Beautiful Plant IS My Kind Of Plant!!! The Jewel Orchid IS One Of My Plants That Has Went Bye-Bye!!! I Will Certainly Be Checking To See IF It IS A PERMANENT BYE-BYE!!!
Cool video!!! Thanks for info, I have a 4in Ludisia discolor doing great in a terraium. I'm not sure if I'm going to take it out or not, because it looks so good❤🌱🤗
Wow! Your plant looks fantastic. I have the same jewel orchid and will need to do the same. Thank you for all the time you spent on this video. Very informative!
Very good video. Thanks. Don’t need to watch another video about how to take care, propagate or repot these plants.
I really appreciate seeing the whole process!! 😍😍
That thing turned into a Wandering Jewel
Thanks for sharing. Now I know what to do with mine. Before I didn’t know I threw away the old ones 😢
Good job!👍
Wow!!!! What a monster of an Orchid now!!! Way to go, an all those babies!!! 💥💥💥 💚 I have a different one an it’s slow growing for me. Awesome job!
Wonderful work girl! Where did you get your shears?
Thanks! Probably from the dollar tree or 99 cent store. They work pretty well for their price :)
❤❤😍

Totally agree with everyone else here. The format of the whole process including a follow up and final result is the type of content we need
It looks like some sort of tradescantia) I have the same problem with my ludisia out of control, really helpful video, thank you so much!
Great video!! Did I miss something? what kind of light (North window?) do they get?
Should they get any direct sunlight? Like early morning sun? ✌✌
Really pretty.Good job. Mama Long Greenville Tx 😘😇🙏🏾

My jewel orchid was looking rough, and you inspired me to prune it... and propagate the cuttings! Fingers crossed! 😊
Good job!!! Thank you for the successful experiment! You rock
I'd love to see an update on this plant today, Erika ❤️

Jewel orchids actually prefer to have lots of moisture. Not enough to ring out the soil/moss but evenly moist
wow I can't believe how stunning the end result is I really want a huge full pot of ludisia discolor its my favorite plant! Great video!!
Thank you much for filming this I have one and it was growing wild and I didn’t know what to do now I know thank you again
