Your getting close. It's worth the effort. I just sold my Camel C-FGHT after17 years flying it.😞

Happy New Year Scott! Looking good and as you said it should start coming together quickly. But don’t forget to enjoy the journey even during the frustrating and challenging moments. I’m just completing my initial 25 hour mandatory flight test regime on my CH750 Cruzer here in Canada and it’s been amazing. Building and then flying what you built is an incredible experience. Cheers. Jim

Just a suggestion on the wood panel based on my experience with C-FGHT. Cut the bottom bolt hole into inverted U channels and insert the bolts head in and allow the panel to slip down over the bolt shafts .When the wings are on you can then slide the panel on and of without trying to work between the wing root and panel.Once the wing is on it will fit tight up against the panel and let the panel sit secure on the bottom while al the other fasteners hold it in position.

Scott, strongly advice inter cylinder baffles. We've seen a lot of problems with CHT limits on WW1 cowls that dont flow air well at all.
    You will need baffles mate.

Use a bead roller on the inlet of that cowl.
