I hope they adapt Hotline Miami someday
That would be awesome.
We can only Hope
It's so funny that you released this video when you did. I had a conversation with my friends the other day that basically went like this:
Me: Every time I watch the Uncharted movie, I get upset that it's not better.
Friend 1: What do you mean 'every time?'
Me: This is the third ti--
Friend 2: THE THIRD TIME??
tom holland looks way too much like a puppy dog good guy to be nathan drake
The brother in part 4 was the worst part. My favorite of the franchise. (I really like pirate treasure) But it took me a long time to be ok with the brother.
42:02 this is the best way to describe the movie

Very good video ^^
Idk if it’s because he’s popular rn, but I feel as if Glen Powell would make a great Drake.
"It would be pretty boring" - uh... mate, Tomb Raider 1 had like maybe four total human opponents, plus you've got other globetrotting adventures like Broken Sword that are plenty entertaining without popping a head off every ten seconds - and I'm saying this as someone who plays COD regularly to relax! XD
Also, to say "this isn't Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider" isn't only a weird argument, but fundamentally opposed to how the games themselves were created. Brendan Fraiser's The Mummy in particular was regularly cited as a key inspiration. Drake's Fortune specifically leans harder into classic Tomb Raider and broader PS1-era sensibilities, even harnessing techniques like fixed camera angles, something almost every other game at the time had abandoned.
I actually kinda liked it, as long as its more of a alpha stage in Nathan drakes film story. I also hope they do chloe and elena justice, its rare that we get good female characters and they better not ruin them.
I'm glad you liked it!
For me, the alpha stage view doesn't work. Either make Uncharted or call it something else. Chloe is just a shadow of the video game character.
I didn’t hate it I thought it was alright for the most part. This supposed to be Nate first adventure so I was cool with him being younger. But I didn’t like what they did to sully
It also can not be understated the mediocrity of the directing and writing team as a whole. The director, Ruben Fleisher, is simply someone Sony has worked with and, I’m being quite generous here, could be described as a journey man director to simply make the product as broad as possible. Sony will take money first then a good film. We see this with their previous collab with Fleiser Venom. And the action is often uninspired and loud. The character work and dialogue specifically is almost always awful.
Yesss the casting in my opinion was really bad too😂

Its so simple, mark wahlberg should have been drake
Hell no
A terrible take
Remake the Resident Evil movie!
