it bothered me that her question was about herself rather than kim herself

I couldn't do this, just because I have eye contact difficulties. No way I wouldn't look away after a couple seconds, haha.

Thats why boxers do the face to face stare down to try and read there opponents mental weaknesses and get the upper edge. And sometimes the fight is lost in that moment before they enter the ring

Why did she ask a question about herself?

  • @ShiningWray
    @ShiningWray 6 років тому +20

Why didn't the trans woman not ask the other woman something about herself, to learn something about the stranger in front of her instead. I sometimes feel that many individuals going through these life adjustments just focus on themselves and forget that they are a part of something much bigger than a title, we are all human. It would have been sweet if she had ask the other stranger something from observing her for the 5 mins, gives me the feeling that she wasn't really looking at her but instead for signs of how the other woman saw her. No connection.

Why are so many people bothered by the genitals of strangers and whether or not the individual in question was born with them or had them surgically created?

NotMostGirls the negative interpretations of religion and insecurity. People have been brainwashed to think they know when they don't know, myself included. So now it's unlearning toxic habits of generations of people🙁

Thank you for answering honestly, Mukama's Love. Because I find it hard to understand why people are bothered, as well. That makes sense though. I like how you have such a self-understanding of your thoughts.

Rachel El❤️💟💛this is a long response💖💗💞my family is Ugandan where it is illegal to be gay and they have harsh punishments too. I had to come to terms with why this is such a priority over murderers rapists and corrupt governments.
At the same time I love Ugandans, they are kind and wise people, they are part of my identity. I'm lucky my parents are more Liberal as we live in the UK (won't go to prison🙁) in that we can discuss why such prejudice is immoral.
I also know that just getting angry at Ugandans(which unfortunately is what many western people do) with no action taken will only cause conflict. So in the end no progress is made. Just like what's happened in North Korea, where people are still starving
For example you might have heard about the lesbian film rafiki being banned in Kenya, that's Ugandans neighbouring country. Everyone got mad but they still banned the movie and its still illegal to be gay but not illegal to have a corrupt government.
In end its only the younger generation who can change this. The ones who have been listening to Troye Sivans songs, the one who follow gay youtubers whose favourite celebs came out as bisexual, the ones have been watching the pride month celebrations online and really don't care about adults and their opinions. 😊💜💟💙💖❤️💛

I'm not bothered by what they are or what they wanna be. I'm bothered by the lie that they are women. At the end of the day they are men who want to be women which is completely fine and I support them in what must be a very difficult situation to be in but that doesn't change the fact that biologically they are still men dressed up as women. That said I wish them all the best.

it can get confusing and I don't have answers to that. (e.g when competing in say the Olympics where do you play: male/female/or something else?? ) As someone who grew up a strict Christian African, I have a lot of questions but sometimes I'm worried people will just think I oppose what their saying when I really don't. I want to learn and discuss.

I cry all the time.. I’m a emotional person. If I allow myself to cry more ill be crying in the grocery store, the mall etc etc . Lol . I think it’s good to cry and feel emotions. Cause so many people try to act tough and it’s okay to just be human and have feelings like sheesh.

I cry also all the time 😅😅 So my answer would be: "Two days ago, I saw fan film about Skyrim, which is my favourite game of all times, and when the Dragonborn kills his first Dragon and filled the first shout with a dragon soul, I cried like a baby." 😅😅

Every time I hear a young person committed suicide I cry young people have so much to give..young people are under so much pressure to achieve to be perfect and meet unrealistic goals not every young person emotionally ready for uni life or work life.....I feel so sad I wish there' was someday I could help them especially by setting up a special phone line just so they can talk..

Melli dreams some psychologists believe we cry because when we were babies and vulnerable that's how we tried to show people we werent OK. Maybe yr feeling vulnerable and you don't feel OK 💟💖💟💚💗❤️💞💚💟💚💞💗❤️I send love and hugs and tissues and also try 2 seek a good therapist(private if possible)

The response to that would be:
As long as you aren't harming anyone or yourself, that is okay. You are what you want to be, we can't stop you, and we shouldn't mistreat you for it.
The point is that we should have respect for people regardless of what they identify as. Basic respect and human decency should be extended to every human being.
