Wait really?
God just from queen we can expect more memorable bosses down the line. Im just glad the team polished of what came from undertale into something more
love the way she pleads to susie to allow her karate chop susie off just to get a couple of skateboards
"Join the Nintendo Fun Club today, Kris!"
i love that final boss so much more than KING ngl, so much fun
To correct you with the "Platform" section in the description, Deltarune Chapter 2 is currently available for PC and Mac. The console versions have yet to get it.
Thanks, now I gotta correct that on every single video :/
@@cavescombustiblelemonade9054 It's alright.
@@cavescombustiblelemonade9054 Don't worry, it's out for Switch and PS4 now.
this sounds like an intro stage from a Megaman X game.
I hate how this song doesn't get enough attention. It's so freaking good.
Toby Fox played Power Rangers on SNES and was like "yes, this song."
I really love the music in this fight, and Giga Queens backward walking animation. They felt like they were in sync..
By far the most epic boss in deltarune, it gave me goosebumps when listening to this during the fight.
Weird. I could have sworn I was playing Deltarune a few minutes ago...oh well, I like Punch Out anyway.
The power of Punch Out shines within you.
My inner punch out instinctively went for counterpunches despite them not being explained in the game. I couldn't help but smile from how accurate to punch out this felt!
“Dodge her punches, then counterpunch!”
What do you mean it wasn’t explained
@@SonicMaster519It’s not explained immediately
This track's title is the same as the title for a battle theme in Live a Live; specifically, the one for the present chapter, in which you play as a fighter taking on the world's champions.
Wouldn't be the first time Toby drew inspiration from that game...
Finally... a worthy opponent...
Our battle will be legendary
(Was I the only who thought that? xD)
I thought that too! And I just finished Chapter 2 today!
I thought of it too
I said it when she didn't XD
Hell no I screamed that aloud when she said that s***
This song
This song is so goddamn good
It complements the whole boss fight so well, it just gives you that rush of adrenaline
This RPG fight and everything leading up to it is peak game design.
What i love about this track, wierdly enough, is the soundfont used, because it's similar to the one used in the power rangers games for the super nintendo (also punch out)
It is the one used for those games
My mecha had this badass body and the funny duck fuck for the head, couldn't ask for a better mech to fight with
All this because one of the Lightner students probably put a ROM of Punch-Out on the library's high-end laptop
Lol
Very similar to SNES Power Ranger Mutitus Cyclopsis Battle
Excellent mix with Punch-Out. This is awesome!
Omfg. When I first found out Nintendo had released a free SNES emulator with the Switch Online subscription, my dad told me about it and we both took turns 100%ing Super Punch Out, (my dad played the shit out of that game when he was younger. ) I played this in the car today without any hints as to what it was and he said "This reminds me of Punch Out" and then I told him. Not only that, but because of the experience I no-hitted Giga Queen on my first playthrough of Chapter Two. Thanks Dad!
Update: My dad is a faschist! I don't see him anymore.
Everyone points out the obvious Punchout influence in this song (which, yes) but I haven't seen anyone comment on the stylistic similarities to Natural Killer Cyborg's theme. The countermelodies ripping off in the background absolutely make me feel like I'm playing Mother 3 again. Great stuff!
Games that are mostly bullet hell-based but with one very notably Punch-Out-style boss fight:
Enter the Gungeon
Deltarune
That is all in my current research.
A giant mechafight was certainly not what I was expecting the final boss to be but I'm far from complaining.
Ok I Think I Have Made My Point Im Going To Procedurally Loop My Dialogue Now
I have goosebumps everytime I'm listening to Toby Fox's osts
It feels like it's building up to something and I don't know what but I'm still hyped
You're going to lose points... health points
i went nuts seeing this punchout reference this was so exciting to me, it's one of my favourite retro games
This is absolutely my favorite song from Chapter 2.
Virgin Steven Universe: Narcissistic tyrant is defeated by a "no u!" retort
Chad Deltarune: Narcissistic tyrant gets the shit beaten out of her by a duck-headed robot in a high-stakes game of Punch-Out
(Spoilers for Gravity Falls below)
This fight reminds me of the final episode of Gravity Falls, where they take the Mystery Shack to fight Bill.
This song gives me SNES F-Zero vibes.
In Undertale and Deltarune there are two types of music: epic music and even more epic music!
this song hits different bro
I never though I would play a game with a Chekhov's Punch-Out
While this fight is CLEARLY a huge reference to Punch Out!!, I got a lot of The Wonderful 101 vibes which also had giant mechas fights with Punch Out!! gameplay
