As a fan of a game series that has most of their products in japan (yo-kai watch if you were wondering), I can confirm that a lot of things never make it out of japan and it sucks most of the time.

I live in Japan and have a few of the balancing games. They're fun to play in a group, taking turns, as you can try to mess up your opponents. Whoever knocks it over loses. Of course not holding it when you play. Ha.
Some games also include chopsticks to play the pieces with for added challenge.

I think the issue with balancing the two sets at once could be that you still had the counterweight attached to the bottom of the green set, thus unbalancing the whole thing even more.

While the balancing toy is fun in its own right, can we talk about how nice those figures are? When I was a kid, most Mario figures were so crappy where I live, I wonder if Japan got good ones even then. I got some better ones from gatcha like machines when I was older, probably because they were first released over there and then came over here.
Anyway, the video was fun, as always, good job Peebs and Toasty!
I think the different sized poles/pegs might be to make the weight set differently with the pieces and make different ways to place the pieces space wize c:
it's probably meant to be a PVP game where you take turns placing pieces, and the two tiers might balance better if you remove the curved part from the upper tier (not sure how much that weighs, but i don't think it need to be kept on)

You got this from Japan? I got a lot of Super Sentai stuff from Japan since some of the best Sentai's haven't even been adapted (yet) and Go knows how long it'll be before or if they finally do. But the shipping is surprisingly usually free.
