The Mast Racer would have been my #1 I love that thing to death definitely my favorite, Great list tho! Love all your videos keep up the good work it’s always a good day when we get a new video from you!
Idk from my own experience the fold pro would be no. 1. It hits harder than the fold 2 pro which is why I was confused when you put the f2 pro ahead of fold pro. But I also have the year of dragon edition which has a c3 motor instead of the c2. I would really like some more in depth insight into your thought process for these rankings. Some of these had my jaw dropped. Good video tho!
I based it upon my general use and how I felt the machine individually performed. I also factored in the cost value of each machine. I did put some personal favorites higher then they should've been. I actually put fold 3 on top due to the fact that each tattoo I made using it felt like I was tattooing butter. When I pulled lines and power lines it was always crisp and didn't need another run through even when using an 11rs. @muzzlebrush explained it shorter hahaha.
Hello!!I love your videos about Dragonhawk tattoo machines. Can you tell me which machine is the best for powerlinig and let's say do biger tattoos whit a lot of long thick lines? Tnx for your time
I'm really undecided between must fold 3 Mast Archer Max and must Archer s. I would use it to do mostly thin to very thick lines and some shading. I only do Black work
Haha those are the top machines at the moment. Archer max I feel hits the hardest til now. But the mast archer s has all the new tech plus it's small. Though archer s battery isn't as big but charges really fast. Fold 3 is just a really well balanced machine though that's why it's the top 1 for me. But I think if I had archer s at the time of the vid it might change.... So yes very hard to choose.
@@TortugaPH You're right, it's an extremely difficult choice. on the one hand I really like the strong and thick lines that the Archer masts offer on the other hand with the fold 3 you can also do some good shading which is probably difficult to achieve with a fixed 4.2 stroke of the masts. Help me 😭
@@lucasabatini8649 mast archer s has a longer lifespan be cause it's single stroke. You can create good shades with a 4.2m just run the mag on the 45° angle and control the pressure and use the right hand speed. Or just get 2 machines lol.
Thank you you are very kind. You have convinced me about the mast Archer! The mast Archer s seems to be really great but I have to be honest the mast Archer max gives me the feeling that it is more stable and powerful. Am I wrong ? Also with the super charge I don't know how long the battery of the mast Archer s can last over time. Given your experience, what do you think ?
@@lucasabatini8649 the max is great simpler and more reliable. Its a bit too soon to tell regarding the archer s quick charge thing. Archer max is hard to come by thou. Goodluck.
Thank you so much! as a beginner, if I want to dedicate myself to linear tattoos, which one do you recommend? I am going to make small and linear tattoos (thin and normal). only black, without shadows or realism. Thanks
Hey. Thanks for the content🎩 Do you know if there is another grip that fit the fold 3? I accidentally threw the grip out because I’m use to disposables. Dragon hawk does not sell replacement grips for the fold 3 :/ any idea?
Been using the x4 for about a year and a half, biggest complaint is the battery situation. Lost one of the two a few months ago and cant buy a replacement from them nor can I find any information on it, or even a battery matching the size and voltage of these. With two its plenty of juice to get through any reasonable session, but with just one its not reliable for any big pieces. Atleast three times ive had the awkward 30 minute charging intermission, which would only make the recipient much more sensitive for the remainder of the tat.
That's the problem with the x series or with their pens that don't sell well, once they stop production it's hard to get replacement parts. Thou the cost of the machine is pretty minimal so getting a new machine doesn't hurt too bad. 1 tattoo pays for a whole new machine haha.
Would you recommend a beginner starts with the archer max? And or any machine above 4mm? I like traditional tattoos and I'm just worried the archer 2 won't be enough for me.
3.5mm stroke can do anything really but higher strokes are better for your style. High stroke does work the skin faster making trauma quicker so not really too beginner friendly. I say get a 3.5mm have a feel for your tattooing first. When you learn how to apply properly get a stronger machine. You can always get an adjustable stroke machine like the fold 3 which you can mess around with many different settings.
Hey, would u recommend the mast flip 2 for a beginner? I know it wasn’t In the video, people say that it struggles to keep up after 8v.. after watching ur video I’m thinking of getting either the armor pro or the fold 3. From those 3 which one would u recommend the most for a beginner? Thank you and nice video helped a lot
I can only rank the dragonhawk x4 and here is my opinion... This was a dream toy until i woke up on a day of a very bad week and this dragonhawk x4 i bought just over a month ago refused to boot up. It was working fine until last night. It seems to be a problem with the ( battery ) power supply ( other online reviews seem to support this as a common problem with this toy ). Both batteries show fully charged but neither manages to power the tattoo machine. WTF !!! Disgruntled at best !!!! I now have a useless tattoo machine and about 500 dollars of supplies that i bought to support my new hobby which i was getting really into. Only wish other comments were less pussy about this kind of product review.
Not trying to start anything or be a jerk but I'm genuinely curious about the placement Flip Pro? Were you influenced in any way by the manufacturer to place it so high? I only ask that because I do know it's one of their better machines but it didn't do well in terms of sales so I'm sure they have quite a bit of "over-stock" and need to get rid of them. Idk? I just was curious if you were being paid by the manufacturer? I think you're "sponsored" by them, right?... But that's a little different than what I'm asking about. Bro I'm sorry I really hope this comment doesn't get misconstrued and if it's out of line please feel free to delete it. I love your vids/reviews I'm not trying to start anything or cast doubt on your sincerity, I'm just genuinely curious. And I'm about to buy the Flip Pro and was surprised by how highly it was rated compared to some of the others, that's all. Anyway, thank you for the upload.
@@buddylee19082 nah it was just an opinion of mine. I liked how the pen hit more than the fold pro. Also I didn't like the fold pro's battery. To be fair thou my contact from DH has never told me to "say good things about this so we sell more". Basically all vids are my take on the machines with no outside influence.

This would be my short answer to the comment above 🤣.
Hey great video! I’m currently stuck between deciding on ordering the Mast Fold 2 Pro or the Mast Archer, which one would you recommend?
The WJX Maxon machine is actually called the "WJX Dialog"
I'd love to see an update including the X9 and X10 - X-series without the parlor trick so-to-say.
I just got my machine dragon hawk fold pro the dragon year one. It be nice you review it
I got one too. It's basically the fold pro with a new skin. So I reviewed it already I will do a short look vid on it thou.
