Why The Philippines Is My FAVOURITE Country

- There is not a single destination I have ever visited that I have enjoyed as much as my experience in the Philippines. Simply put, it is my all-time favourite country (as of right now).
I spent two days in Cebu city and then a full week exploring nearly every corner of the island of Siargao. Never in my life have I seen such an incredibly beautiful place with crystal clear water, dense clusters of coconut trees, and rolling grass hills get completely overshadowed by the generosity and kindness of the locals. The Filipino people are the warmest and most kind-spirited I've met in any country and it really did alter the way I choose to look at interacting with strangers. It's lead me to want to be more welcoming and generous to those that come into my home, be curious to listen to their stories, and continuously remind me that the key to happiness is gratitude for the abundance that can be found in your life.
This country will always have a special place in my heart and I cannot wait to explore it with open eyes once more :)

I did not have the chance to talk about it in this video, but the Philippines was recently struck by a significant Typhoon that has left many people without homes and worse. Here is a link to the Red Cross detailing more information and the chance to donate as well. Thanks for tuning in www.redcross.org/about-us/news-and-events/news/2020/red-cross-response-to-typhoon-goni.html

Guess I’m going to the Philippines! When all this is done, I’ll have a really LONG list.
You totally should! There's no place like it :)
I'm a Filipino...I've been to over 40 countries with all those famous places like Hawaii, Bali, Phuket, Cancun, Cozumel etc...I realized that my country has the best of all of them which I took for granted... Philippines, my Philippines tropical Paradise...It's more fun in the Philippines...
I’ve been having a similar experience with my home country this year here in Canada. I’ve spent so much time exploring other countries that I never got to see my own beautiful home. Thanks for the comment and couldn’t agree more about how lovely The Philippines is :)
I'm from Philippines here and I actually know a little how to speak English ❤️😊😸
Truly the "Pearl of the orient sea"
