That's probably because it's not 60 mph. My new 22 stock Grom speedo indicates 12% faster speed than actual GPS measured speed. My top GPS speed is 51 mph.

Great price. Honest dealership. Mine tried to charge me $780 for my 2018 Grom assembly and I laughed. Told them I know for a fact that they come in the crate fully assembled, just needs battery connected, oil filled and mirrors threaded on by hand. I ended up completely negotiating away the assembly charge. It paid off for them, as over the years I purchased four more motorcycles from them and got numerous tire changes and services/oil changes
I got a 2022 ABS last week and have loved every one of the 193 miles, thus far. Even more than even my 2019 Monkey, due to 5th gear... P.S. 4:47 Yerrrrum!

You make great videos. I bought one of these because of videos like this. Sorry you crashed yours. I am glad you were not hurt worse. Keep up the great work.
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words, and I hope you're enjoying yours. I've got a Benelli TNT 135 now, and my intro video on that is coming next month.
@@DailyMotor Oh very cool! I will look forward to that. How many vehicles to you actually own? I could not find any Benelli dealerships near me in Southern California, but it will be interesting to see any comparisons MPG wise, as well as, comfortability compared to my Grom. Ride safe.

I dont know how to work on engines and dont really know how to maintain it. Think Imma keep saving and just go with the grom. I really love that blue color you have there!
Thanks! I think the Navi will be reliable too, but the Grom will be more fun and usable. Honestly, if you're only going to have one bike, you may want to save a bit more and get a CB300 or a KTM Duke 200. Much more of a usable bike.
@@DailyMotor really just looking for something fun to commute to work on and that’s brand new. Not looking to spend anymore then 4K on a bike. I’ve got plenty of time tho so will keep those in mind.
I've been trying to get one for a while. One day I was near my local Honda shop, so I went in there to see what the deal is. Well they had the Blue ABS that just came in. I didnt want the blue, wanted black. He told me there is a line for the black IF they ever come in. Anyway started looking at it. The more I looked at the blue I liked it. @@dusty1268 Yeah but if you think about it, ususally not so liquid people get themselves a grom because they're not too expensive. And 200 bucks for some plastics is in relation to that still quite high. I remember how much I had to sweat to get the Muffler for my cb500f haha
My local dealer has one of these atm... I think it's the 4 speed tho. I love how light they feel but still feel real solid and wet built... I've not ridden one yet tho.
$4100 is a phenomenal price! The dealership RC Hill Honda, here in Florida, is charging me $5283 out the door, so I will definitely look at other dealerships. I want one so bad.
Wow he said he actually liked the other mirrors this is surprising me because out of all from videos I have watched which is most of them on UA-cam that all of them don't like the old mirrors what's your guys thoughts you like the new mirrors
abs is never a bad thing to have. But good tires make more sense than abs on smaller bikes. On my old 125 with cheap chinese tires, my rear blocked in the rain once and I came to a stop 20m after the traffic light. Thank god nobody was there, and the junction was a safer one.
You guys have 50-60mph roads going straight into roundabouts??? Over here the highest you're allowed to go into a roundabout is 60kmh (~37mph), and those are huge ass roundabouts.
Yea that fun you're having is the fun of wringing out the whole engine, something you can't really do with bigger bikes. Personally I think that a 300- honda's 500 are the limit to where power and usability sit, anything higher and you're never reving the motor at all. My cb500f does about 90kmh in 2nd, revving out 1st is always janky on any bike. Meaning the only real revving you can do legaly on that thing is between 2nd and 3rd on backroads (where you don't really fully use the 3rd gear). And lets be honest, the highway isn't much fun.
I've also noticed that on my 500 that the bike moves faster than I can enjoy the moment of riding. Back in my 125 days every corner I take I would have had time to think about the line, the angle, and everything. Nowadays I'm around the corner before I even register it.
I really wanna get one as it’s the only bike I can afford and all I need is 50-55 mph so it’d be just fine but I hear a lot about transmission issues with the 3rd gen, thought about getting a 2020 but without the 5th gear idk if it’d be good for where I am it really worries me I have no clue what to do

125's usually eat around under 2,5l/100km, depending on your weight and how much you pin it maybe abit more. That would make about 100mpg, but mpg is 70% riding style.
