Piece of heaven right there. You're a lucky man.
That looks like a dream come true
That is a Slice of Heaven! Amazing!
You have a beautiful piece property thanks for sharing
Love your place i can see this video again and again thousand times 👍
You have a beautiful property and home
Well, you are a fortunate man! Beulah I think means beautiful. Those who live there mostly know what a privilege it is. I’ve seen little hints but thought maybe you were in eastern Oregon or Washington. Heard you sorta mumble Beulah and then say turkeys and it clicked. Nice of you to share your knowledge of tools and smithing. Your organization and energy is admirable. Envy.

Beautiful place!😋
Beautiful place, city dwellers have no clue about what is needed to prevent wildland fires. Stay safe!
you have a very nice place there John!!! Love it!!!
Thanks 👍
Ha John I joyed the tour of home place.
OMG you have such a BEAUTIFUL place!!!
I would LOVE to live somewhere like that!! 😍😍😍😍
Your a lucky man! Thanks for sharing!!!
Perfect.. very nice
im 6 years too late, but thank you for the tour
It hasn't changed much in that time
That's fun!
Very nice of you to share a bit of your personal life, thank you.
My pleasure! I have a channel just for the non blacksmithing side of life ua-cam.com/channels/rH18xls7zdB6b19L6oJDgw.html
Your very lucky my wife would go that far in the woods great to have a wife that's willing to live there.
Oh this is such a beatiful place!!
Awesome brother, thank you for sharing. Felt right at home
Greetings from the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Beautiful home and property, John! I hadn't seen this one yet. Glad your hand healed up! Love your channel!
I've been watching your channel for a while, and I finally realized you live nearby., I'm in Cañon. I'd love come have a cup of coffee. I love working with metal.
Jamie.
It really looks nice with the underbrush cleared
Thanks, it's a constant battle
Absolutely beautiful out there
Thanks
What a beautiful piece of property! This is almost exactly what I'm striving to have at some point in the future, even though our landscape isn't quite the same here in Ohio
it took me over 6 years to put the cabinet doors and drawer fronts on the cabinets I made for our new house... I understand that projects take some time.... lol
You're ahead of me then.
@@BlackBearForge 16 years and I still haven't finished the island.... lol
I was just in Colorado last week fighting a fire outside of Glenwood Canyon. Glad to see you mitigating your property ahead of time.
Fire mitigation is a never ending task. Although this summer has been so dry, I'm worried about hitting a rock with a blade and causing sparks.
Awesome beautiful area would love a place near you.
Nice area up there I’m a hop skip and a jump away down here in San Juan county
Beautiful spot.
John... Where you live is BEAUTIFUL.. I would love to live there. Speaking of living there If my wife catches me bringing in one more piece of blacksmith equipment. I will need some where to live. .. That homestead that's not finished looks pretty tempting. Are you interested for the need of a helper..🔨🔥
Its funny, your place is exactly what i imagined it would look like. Very much what i would one day like to have. I want you to know that you have been an inspiration to me and my forging career. As a young aspiring blacksmith i want to say that i really appreciate you and all you are doing with these videos you make.
Wauuuuuu, l really really love it😍 and THE HOUSE! My dreams in reality..
Beautiful area!
A nice place.
Beautiful.
Nice thanks for sharing
Gorgeous property. We had property for a good number of years in the White Mountains of AZ. Water had to be hauled in as well. Once you get used to hauling in water, it is not that big a deal as long as you keep count of how much water you have in your holding tanks. Nice video tour.
Nice very nice
Wonderful location and very pleasant atmosphere with Blessings of your sharing this experience. Thank you Master. 🙏🙏🙏
Wow what a beautiful place to live.
God has blessed you with a beautiful place to live and work .love your channel you have inspired me to do more blacksmithing . thanks for sharing you knowledge and skill
Love to know more about your sheep wagon.
Here is a video I did on the wagon ua-cam.com/video/7qFxatUf9MY/v-deo.html
Thanks for the tour of your home, John! I live on 40 acres near Calhan, east of Colorado Springs. I have water (500 foot well), but no trees (except the Ponderosas and Cedars I planted 20 years ago). I noticed the water tank in your truck, so I wondered if you needed to haul water. We have some antelope, coyotes, deer, foxes and rabbits, but thankfully no bears. Have you seen a Bigfoot? If you can make his/her acquaintance, they would make a fantastic striker. :)
Wow, you live in an amazing place, it's beautiful. I understand why you love it. Thanks for sharing.
How deep does your snow get there ?
I find it Odd that there is no water there.... looks like there should be plenty but it's probably quite deep.... hauling water is no fun...I would see about a well or large catchment tank or something.... I grew up on 20 acres that had a natural spring we developed and a small pond.... and I learned that water is essential for living there ! no water and you can't even have a garden.... and that's half the reason to be out in the sticks ! I love your videos !
keep it up !
Wonderful property. May you never finish all your projects. That would be the worst day ever!
Real pretty. Lived in Colorado twenty five years ago. Fond memories. Thanks for your videos, enjoy them immensely.
You do have a truely amazing piece of land I’d give anything to live where you are your a lucky man
We certainly do consider ourselves lucky to live here.
Very nice!!!
just wow :o
very cool
Beautiful... So looking forward to starting ours soon. In Ludlow.
It’s no wonder you do such quality work being inspired living in a Beautiful place on Mother Earth! I live on 8 acres of woodland in south east Pennsylvania and my wood shop is also here, do a bit of blacksmithing. It also inspires me in my environment. So Kind Thanks for a Lovely tour and Many Blessings to You and your Wife! And a Very Happy Thanksgiving! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
Thanks for sharing we here in the metro area do not see enough simple living.
Thanks for the video, dear John. I like your life style!
All the best!
From Russia with love!
My wife and I are retired as well. Having owned a Construction Company for nearly 40 years, one would assume everything I build is finished in weeks if not days. Sadly no. When you do it for a living, that is the last thing you want to do on your time off. Slowly I've tried to finish projects I started 15 years ago. Trudge on. Even if they don't get finished, as long as you and yours are happy....Then all is well.
This reminds me so much of where i grew up in Australia. same sort of pine (there were plantations near home) and dry scrubby bush. more wombats and less lions though
The fire you eluded to was about 30 miles down the road from where I live and quite devastating. Thank you for the tour and I am quite jealous!
Thanks for the tour, John. I like your style!
You have a Beautiful Home and surroundings ! I am very jealous ! You have what I have always wanted !!!!!!!
I am a country Man , Born and raised in North Carolina , about the middle of the State !
5 acres , and 2o miles from any
Big City ! I Love your location,
Water or not !
Have a Blessed Day! , Thank you for sharing !
This is beautiful, thank you for sharing
I'm beyond jealous. I'd love to have a place like yours. I have just over an acre between two small towns. When it comes to yard work, it's too large, but when it comes to the space between me and my neighbors, it's too small.
looks good

that's one of the few things i miss being here in florida is the woods up north.

Beautiful land! Thanks so much for the tour.
Nice to see your tour on the property. Take care and heel well.
Are you still having to haul water to your place? I would set up some kind of rain catchment system and filter that. “If that’s legal in your area”
