I'm sure there'll be many more after this lol. May actually look into it. There was the Bisbee 1000 stair run in Arizona the week before... that would be a perfect if they lined up the same next year...well..that and arranging that time off lol. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
I would have come this year if I'd known you were going to be there! I live near Clovis, NM, about 5 hours from Las Cruces. I'll make it a point to do the DangerBird next year!
Every sunday morning after having breakfast I look forward to watching your new video. You set a positive mood for the day and make me just wanna ride my bike all the time. Keep making these videos and not to mention the music you use in the videos just make it perfect for a relaxing sunday morning.
Who gave this a thumbs down???? Oh well no accounting for taste. Excellent episode Ryan. I love to watch you interact with people. It's good for the soul.
I just started watching this. I had to pause for a minute to say that Grace really touched my heart! She's awesome! And its so cool to see her out there leading the pack! Now, back to the show!!!!
Another Doozy of a Duzer!! Happy folks outdoors enjoying nature and one another. Please forewarn the Dangerbird folks and Las Cruces that there will probably be a LOT MORE folks enjoying their hospitality next year because of your VLOG. :-)
If so, perhaps the organizers can convince a few of the towns' restaurants to stay open a bit longer so the stragglers can enjoy the locale fare and not DIE!!!
Seeing the smile on Grace's face at the start is enough to inspire anybody to get out there, awesome video once again Ryan👍 Can't wait for the next instalment!
I am doing this ride in a couple weeks and I am extremely excited. I kept catching myself with a smile on while watching this video! Thank you! Ride on!
I gathered the whole family to watch! It was a real pleasure to have you in Las Cruces and to be able to cruise with you on day 2. Looking forward to part two 😎
Thank you so much Ryan, I needed this. I'm pretty depressed sequestered in my room studying for midterms. This video is like a breath of fresh air; it reminds me that there is a bright wide world out there.
Can't wait for future videos! Thank You for showcasing NM. I moved here from Denver back in April and love ABQ. Keep up the great work. I think John and Mira would have enjoyed this ride too! Ryan you make getting up on Sunday mornings a treat!
Looks like a perfect blueprint for life Ryan- great people, beautiful surroundings, amazing food and riding your bike. Thanks for sharing this, it looks like a really special event.
Awesome! I have appreciated your adventures for a while now. I wasn't there for the Dbird, but I'm glad you got to spend time in my home town of Las Cruces and the surrounding territory. Thank you for featuring it all here.
Ryan. Thank you for the preview of the Monumental Loop in NM. Kathy and I are going to be in Las Cruces in March. I'm definitely going to check out some of these routes. I'm glad that you introduced some of the bike advocates from Las Cruces! A big part of bicycle advocacy gets done at the grassroots level so that young people like Grace have a safe place to bike.
what an amazing route, glad you atleast got some proper dinner even though most places were closed, but your guardian angel provided you with nice people, great food and a place to sleep :D BIKE ON!
@@duzer Hi. You've probably mentioned this in a previous video, but could you please let me know again the brand of canteen and canteen frame mount you use. I spend allot of time in the middle east, and those large canteens would come in handy !
Super cool event! I love all the beautiful souls you feature in your content. Makes me want to organize an event like this in our region. Thanks for always inspiring us smaller creators to keep going and hopefully someday have an impact like you do on the world.
That's awesome! I was stationed at Fort Bliss for 5.5 years. Although I grew up in TN and love it, I definitely enjoyed the scenery in that part of the world!
@@duzer if you ever go do that again, you’ll have to get down to El Paso to the west side of the Franklin Mountains. There’s still some wreckage from a B-36 that flew into the mountain side in extreme fog. I think it’s part a a landing gear, or something like that. And if you do, you need to go eat at Los Bandidos De Carlos & Mickey’s near Fort Bliss. Excellent Mexican food!
I recently read of this ride a couple of weeks ago. Another must do on the ever growing list, thanks to you! haha Thank you for another beautiful story!
Sad I didn't get to ride this whole thing when I lived down there, but riding sections and seeing all my favorite scenery was awesome. Thanks for sharing this cool adventure Ryan!
New Mexico is such a cool place. There is something about this state that is just a little bit different. I love your videos, my man. Also Ruidoso is beautiful but Ive never made it to the Hatch valley
Another great adventure for me to live vicariously through you! Have you ever done a video on how you get to and from these trails? How you pack your bike for air travel, or hitchhike, or whatever you do? I think that would be very interesting. Thanks for the great content!
Man, your videos are so well thought out, cut, entertaining and contain so much genuinely positive energy: picking peoples minds on bikepacking as well your own thoughts and struggles… I did such an event in June this year over here in Germany. 70 riders 1000 km (with staggering 10000 m (30,000 ft) of vertical distance). It was the hottest week of the year (35°C (95°F)) which was absolute torture in the vineyards. Only made it to the checkpoint at 500 km. Well, gotta try it again next year! :D Also, you inspire me to produce content myself at some point in the future. Thank you Ryan for being an amazing inspiration for me and so many others! Cheers!
So rad to see friendly faces like Cjell and John Watson - gotta get down there next year. P.S. RVD, I'm local to Boulder and would love to get out to bike or trail run sometime!
Way to go Duzer - another wonderful video. Though I love my town of El Chuco, I love mi gente in Las Cruces and those Organ Mountains. Safe travels man -- and keep doing what you do.
Great video!!! I was out riding in the Dona Ana mountains that morning and saw you go by. I hope I can join next year. One little thing... here in Cruces the plural of chile is chile. Locals dont say green chiles.
As a local Hispano from Cruces (Mayfield class of '94), I can tell you that the plural of chile is chiles. 1. Cuantos chiles verdes has comido? 2. Can you please put six dried red chiles in my bag? Cheers.

what an emotional video . i felt so happy for seeing people sharing their love to bikepacking and nature , enjoying their time....
Glad you enjoyed it
Your positive, fun and naive attitude, the Interviews make your videos unique.
Meeting people is my favorite part!
Naive is not really the word. Non-judgmental would probably be a better description.
