Joe plays Booker T Jones' classic Time is Tight, before breaking down how to get the tones Booker uses. Joe is playing a 1963 Hammond C3, through a 1965 Leslie 145 Speaker.
Joe is a multi-talented keyboard player who specialises in Hammond Organ, currently playing in Tom Jones' touring band, having played for Van Morrison and James Hunter among many others.

One of the coolest instruments ever made for sure, and that’s coming from a guitarist lol
Fantastic, thanks!
Absolutely Love it, Ok this is driving me crazy, how do you recreate the Soul Limbo sound on the Hammond? Cheers Guy....humble bass player
Great video: any chance you can tell me what the organ plays during the guitar solos; Im in an band, I am playing this tune on my 1958 M3 and I can tell the chords are C and F, but not sure what they toggle to during the solo..please.
You should make one for green onions that would be so helpful😂😂
Do you have C3 chorus on as well? Just looking at that knob position, plus hearing a shimmy even when Leslie is stopped.
can't hear the bass
Why can’t I hear what your left hand is playing? If you’re still alive (I just saw this video is 5 years old).
