Jesus Christ this video is long my PC almost blew up processing this I underestimated the fangirling. I decided to make this video partially because it was a good follow up from my last video and I know people in the community were wanting to see this, so here it is! (yes I know it says 37 mins whilst the video is 36 but I can't change that now) This isn't even all of the clips the video was originally 50 minutes long but I decided to cut it down. :)
If you don't know who Etho is he is best known though for his single player Minecraft let's play series that started over 12 years ago; being a prominent member of the redstone community; a member of Hermitcraft and just overall being a cool guy. I would definitely recommend checking him out! :)

I watch etho religiously but i didn't know how much people adore him in the UA-cam community. It's really sweet, he deserves it
He was really the original Minecraft UA-camr. It’s so sweet that the other UA-camrs are excited to see him!
He was one of the first big MC UA-camrs. Many of his peers started UA-cam because they were fans of him, and many younger UA-camrs grew up watching his videos. Even on HermitCraft where they see him all the time there will regularly be members that say things like "I still can't believe I'm on a server with Etho."

He is the OG let’s Player of minecraft - someone who transcends the whole community. A god amongst minecrafters
it's also part because etho is clearly an introvert, he like to stay in his little bubble, in his small closed group, etc... wich is perfectly fine, but that mean that when ever he pop out on a more public server it's like a 1 in a billion, jump on the opportunity because it'll probably be your last opportunity 🤷♂️

This is hilarious to me because, as a hermitcraft viewer, I just see Etho as some chill dude on hermitcraft who also makes let’s play video. So to me, I just see incredibly famous MCTY’s fangirling over some random chill dude, and it’s just amazing.
A lot of it stems from just how long Etho has been posting. His original series pre-dated Strongholds, the Nether, and even the hunger mechanic. Along the way he's done work with some of the original founders of "minecraft youtube" (Sparklez, Sethbling, Zipkrowd, Mindcrack, Hermitcraft) and his current single player world is the longest continuous running series (dating back to beta versions of minecraft with his current single player world starting in minecraft 1.2 with over 550 episodes). The other critical part to it is the approachability and consistency of his content while still being entertaining. He's put out an amazing series spanning over 12 years and has only improved with it's production quality while keeping the quality of the content.
Correction it might be the oldest but stampys is the longest in episodes but we stand etho and all the older UA-camrs

Same lmaoo, he's just a chill hermit to me and like a beacon of calm in the chaos of the life series. I've never watched his survival series, I watched a different group of mcyt's growing up (sadly the ones who turned out to be problematic). But I've seen the clip of impulse hyping over playing with etho while etho was watching lmao, and of course I look up to all the hermits! So it's pretty clear just how big of a name Etho is. Love that for him though, but especially love that he's so humble under it hahahh. Such a sweet guy I'm so glad I've reached a mcyt community with such lovely creators. ^^

Relatedly, I watched Scott's stream for this MCC and I'm glad Etho was with Scott. He really benefited from having someone there who could explain and clarify what the rules were during MCCI practice and throughout the event.
@@rowanrooksScott, FBM and Scar were really good choices for first time players' teammates, a perfect mix of having fun while still doing their very best. They were so patient when explaining things and making sure he enjoyed his first MCC, the vibes were immaculate.

I know Build Mart isn't popular with some MCC contestants, but I feel like Smajor, Scar, FBM, and Etho would have killed it. I'm glad they finished with Sands because that game also requires a ton of cooperation.

I think doing a face reveal just breaks character, especially if one is so well known for years. People's impression of Etho is already so deeply rooted in theirs minds, that a face reveal is too risky to insert another impression that maybe not what people already portrayed in their minds.

Honestly, I'd welcome seeing more interaction between different MCYT content creators and communities. I think that's one of the coolest things about MCC.

I love that so many people hold him in such high regards when he himself just tells everyone he's a normal guy. Etho is like the shadow of minecraft. Never really jumping on hype and always working on his own craft and style. Which is why people respect him so much and a lot of people including me grew up on him. So I'm very happy about him gaining some exposure and having a fun time.
I think Tubbo should be the President of the Etho girl’s fanclub! He was so excited and genuine. I’m happy he got a heart from Etho! That was so sweet. I’ve been that excited meeting my idol.

When you’re one of the first to ever do something, you’ll always be remembered. Etho is one of the first Minecraft UA-camrs and one of those few originals still actively enjoying it as a career.

I cried during Tubbos part, not because it was so freaking adorable and wholesome (even though IT WAS), but because it made me wonder. Would I react that way if I met Scar or Grian irl? The answer is probably yes, but still. It made me cry and that’s okay. :3
