the traditional wind healing is so real, in Mexico we have a similar practice and we believe it's because of the wind too, "aire", love your channel:))
It's fun. So happy to see Steve is amazed. This is the True hospitality of Indonesian. I think almost every family is selling food or drink or satay. Because they cooking skills is top notch
The best action packed video of all....adorable kids, warm friendly people with their warmest smiles and cheap yummilicious food. Such a wonderful village !!
Ramee , seerruu , alwys glad n funny when watch, you both really so happy with child , makasih , masih , sama , sama , sama , tomorrow come bck againi ya ya , da dahh
Orang2 ramah, makanan juga pasti enak, bunga2 ditepi sungai indah dipandang, tapi sayang,,, air sungai yang tadinya mengalir jernih dikotori oleh sampah,😌
Spending a week on the East Java trip will be amazing for the majestic Tumpak Sewu waterfall, Kapas Biru waterfall, Madakaripura waterfall, Mount Bromo, Ijen Crater and the Grand Cave.
27:05 I love size of the cap ayam bowl. Back in the early 90s I remember eating noodles on that type of bowl and the portion is right. Plate and bowl sizes actually correlate to food portions and wider waist size.
This is a good point! We agree 100%. We sort of didn't realize the crazy portion sizes in Canada, until we left and started travelling. lol It can be a bit ridiculous
The boy scolded the girl who asked Steve about his religion, the typical Jogja boy, they knew it's rude to ask such a private matters since the community members consist from a few religion
@@halimmoesa lah apa salahnya?
Just finished rewatching....an amazing video indeed. Yeah, my late paternal grandmother did like what that aunty did to the boy when we were sick. Instead of using a coin, my granny used a porcelain spoon, dipped in a bowl of salt water and scrapped all over the upper part of the body to bring out the wind. It worked, it really worked, a traditional method of healing. Wonderful, isn't it? But in this modern era, this practice is diminishing 😂
that pigeons are for race, not to be eaten. it's very popular game, usually the finish lane or area is around rice field, mostly outside the city. they will bring the pigeons by motorbike, in the box den, kilometers away from the finish area. you will be surprise the prize of the winner! plus those pigeon can be sold millions rupiah! on other thing, you do not dip the crackers (kerupuk) into the soup, get soggy and no good for the taste, nobody want a soggy crackers.
Beautiful village.Beautiful people.Should have put those candies in a paper bag and let the adorable kids play "Whack the Piñata" with it lol Yea same here, we blame our ailments on angin/wind too and you can actually go for a massage that pushes this wind out of you. Fun fact : the person massaging will stop when she starts burping loudly n continously.Supposedly she has inherited your wind thus healing you.Personally I would not want this job but someone has to do it haha Sounds like it's all nonsense but I have seen this happen. So there might be some truth to it but who knows...
As Jogjanese myself i can claim that we Jogjanese is the MOST friendly people in Indonesia... It's in our blood for being friendly and kind but not to messed with to also..😂😂
