Depending on the brand some servos can make weird noises. But am not saying yours is normal. I am not sure about your issue without seeing. If you post a video I will try to help otherwise maybe ask a local hobby shop or track to help you.
@@RCeXtra Hello RC eXtra, thank you for getting back to me. I am only getting back into the hobby after 15 years or so; so everything is all new to me again now. All my parts are new (I have dissassembled the steering rod, so don't worry about that), but essentially, I am using a Sanwa RX-482 Reciever along with two Sanwa PGS-LH2 Servos. My remote control is a Sanwa M17. I have connected my remote to the reciever from SYSTEM > BIND, then just changed the RF Mode to FH4TE as that's the one to choose since in UK we don't get FH4T; that's what I read online anyway. Few issues I am having. 1) The noise of the recievers, is this normal ? 2) The throttle servo seems to be moving one way by itself opening the engine valve, yet when I accelerate on the remote, it closes the valve, so like inverted the wrong way and I don't know how to change that. 3) You'll see at the end of the video at random times the remote will bleep with like a voltage warning it seems ? again, I'm not too sure why it's doing that and if it's a problem. Any help would truly be appreciated as I have not found much help online. Also the video is on my channel, link below: ua-cam.com/video/UFgFnHJaIx8/v-deo.html Many thanks in advance, James.
@@blackfalcon1992 James 1. The noise is your servos and is 100% normal. 2. I am not sure if I understand your issue. Are you saying the throttle servo is moving the wrong direction? So forward is braking and braking is going forward? If yes then you need to go into the channel 2 servo reversing and swap from normal to Rev. You will also need to reset the sub trim. 3. The sound is also 100% normal. That is the radio saying you lost connection to the car. This happened because you shut off the car.
@@blackfalcon1992 this video may help. Shows how to setup the steering servo but the same would apply for the throttle channel. The menu I am using is the menu>custom section and you can toggle between channels by using the open circle which is in the upper right hand corner of the touch pad. ua-cam.com/video/kx89Qvg11RM/v-deo.html
Great video, so for the rx493 do I have to use Fh5U or will fh5 work? Curious to know what the difference between fh5 and fh5u. Thanks!
Noah I have not tried the 493 on FH5 but have been told that it does not work. FH5U has a quicker response time than FH5.
Thanks for the sharing 😊
Perfect - thank you!
Thanks for the video it was helpful. Cheers
Glad you liked it
Thank you 🙏
Richard glad the video helped. Check out the M17 play list as there are some goodies in there.
Really sturggling with my M17 to bind, servos making weird noises, voltage warning coming up ect.
