that "keep moving" is what many players dont get. they'll stick around and try to kill every enemy. using up resupplies and reinforces. and i've had it where players would hate on me for moving forwards and kick me. cant wait for that enemy spawn fix so i can play on my own again.

I'm not touching heavy armor man, the loss of mobility, speed and stamina issues are not worth taking into game. If you take medium armor with padding and vitality enhancement that is enough imo. I also prefer the jump pack.. the shield bothers my eyes and once I got used to fighting bots and bugs the shield never seemed necessary. The extra mobility the jump pack provides = easier time surviving.
I find the ballistic shield helps tankiness more than the shield pack. But I also love the Michelin Man armor. Been having fun running HMG in short bursts with it too
Idk if you’ve ever played a souls game or if it was a joke, but if you think you can clear Elden Ring in less than 20 deaths you’re out your mind 😂

Whenever I use this armour, I always end up noticing that I'm dying more often from friendly fire explosives and devastator rockets. Whenever I have the explosive resist armour on, this rarely ever happens. So I always end up going back to explosive resist. Hardly ever die at all using it.
Funny thing about the way damage is classified in game is that explosive resist is more useful vs the spewers on the bug side due to the projectile vs explosive damage ratio.
I feel like Airstrike is better vs 500kg against bots.
500kg is overkill for everything except detector tower, tanks, hulks, and even striders die in one hit.

My load out for bots is:
Jar 5, Grenade pistol, stun grenades,
Orbital rail cannon, eagle air strike, jump pack, and laser cannon. 🤘🏻
i would rather take heavy medic armor and eagle air strike instead of 500 kg :) instead of plasma shotgun you can use scorcher as primary and the build is solid i would say
Thanks for still experimenting, having fun, and making content on this game. So sad what it's been through. Sad to have negative thoughts about a thing that's offering so much fun. Hope it all ends soon and the dev wins us over.
Supply pack offers better tankiness and other benefits besides. It’s because you have extra stims, and those stims each count for extra since with 200 armor you’re taking far less damage. Healing power scales with damage resistance, is the idea.
The shield on the other hand protects you from a momentary f*ck up but not a strategic blunder or from being overwhelmed. With the supply pack though, you have all the staying power you could ask for and the time to use those stims and that ammo.
Plus if you bring stuns you’ve got insane stun potential, preventing additional damage and stretching your stims even further. It’s a match made in heaven.
I’ve been playing fluffy armor + grenade pistol + stuns + Heavy Machine Gun + Supply pack on Helldive and it’s been super fun. You can pair any primary with this and in particular ammo hungry ones. Eagle Strike + 500k/Clusters/smoke (believe it or not smoke is good it can kill buildings and lots of damage to Factory Striders in addition to allowing even the slowest of Helldivers to make a “quick” getaway.
the suplly pack doesnt deffend you from a single big hit though, u can have all the stims but if the damage is high that shield helps:)
@@Crazymrpipz well that’s what’s so amazing about the fluffy armor. You can survive a direct Devastator rocket to the face, which does 200% damage for 50 and 100 armor ratings, but at 200 armor does 130% damage instead.
So in other words, you truly get the best of both worlds. You *can* take a massive hit and survive, and then you’ve got everything you need to get up and keep fighting.
Btw for reference, the Devastator rockets and most missiles in the game for that matter, do significantly more ballistic damage than explosive damage. So it’s more effective to have that +50 armor than to have the direct explosive resistance, against most things
Edit: a further tidbit, you dive just as far and as fast in Heavy armor as you do Light armor. So get diving and use those stims soldier!

Hey bro I missed the gameplay part of the stream. What do you think about the whitewolf armor? It’s medium w padding so 150 armor. I was gonna buy it when it was in the shop last time but decided not to. Kinda wish I did tho.
Grab it if you like the look but it's the same benefit mechanically as the default armors, heavy armor rating but with medium armor speed and regen.
I know you are trying to show off a specific build here but that supply call in away from your squad is sus.
I think the absolute best tank build for the bots is ballistic shield with heavy armor that has fortified or even heavy medic armor

this is literally the best tank setup :D there is no armor that has more deffence and no better stratagem that increases survavability, you dont have to agree for it to be true
How do you get the B-27 Fortified Commando suit? I dont see it anywhere?
It pops up in the store from time to time so you will have to wait till it's on there.
I use that armor and its fucking great on bots. Havent tried on bugs.

heavy medic armor with the new booster might be interesting. heal and run faster for a longer amount of time.
heavy armor is just too slow for me .... its hard for me to even dodge charger
Think of it this way… movement speed = health/armor for bugs. The better you can avoid taking damage the less damage you’ll take
