Gengar is my main played over 500 games on gengar only, don’t understand why ppl say it’s bad iam literally 70%+ winrate on all my games. Iam not a big fan of double gengar EX, at least play one normal gengar for more flexibility, normal gengar and jynx+farfetched is usually enough damage to win, if not hold on to the normal gengar and wait for the EX. Good video tho 👍
@@xLevveLx ppl say it’s only 100 dmg, but they forget it’s 170 HP aswell and can’t get oneshot by mewtu which is extremly important. 170 hp also means a pikachu or starmie needs 3 hits in order to kill you if you have at least 1 single potion, because they can’t use giovsnni or sabrina.
Gengar ex is one of the most fun decks I run, but it's not always as consistent when up against the top tier decks. When it works, though, it's so much fun! Not many people like this it seems, but I run 2x Meowth alongside 2x Gastly, 2x Haunter, and 2x Gengar ex as my only Pokemon in the deck. This increases the odds of drawing what you need with Pokeball as well as increased draw power with Meowth. I also use a fossil to avoid Sabrina. If you try that out, let me know what you think!
Yo I played a deck kinda similar to this, but I just had 2 Jynx instead of the split between Farfetch'd and Jynx... Will try your version, and yes I agree that Gengar EX is lowkey strong esp being an anti-Sabrina tech
Best Gengar Deck by far to me is the non Ex one, with 2 sets of Gengar, 2 Jynx and 1 Taurus. After much deck building, I simply concluded that Gengar Ex feels terrible
reallt unfortunately honestly cause gengar is such a fun idea, if his hits did even 120 he’d be a good mon, I think he also has the best art out of the rainbow border cards
@@lucianofrancesco4742 machamps first 2 evos are far better than gengars and he has the bonus of being able to be played with marowak who is extremely strong for 2 energy

That Mewtwo should've retreated into ralts, did some chip, then Sabrinad if they had it to finish kanga in end game and not pumped themselves at times. Some people just aren't good at card games.
I would replace Farfetch'd with Meowth. Sometimes it's difficult to get stage one or stage two pokemon from your deck and Meowth's ability to draw additional cards is very useful in that regard, maybe even underrated sometimes.
This! I played against my friends deck as he uses meowth and Persian as a "shield" pokemon as well as a disrupt. Its sooo annoying to play against but when I tried it out, it's actually really good and criminally underrated!
Right now I want my boy G-Gar (GG for short) to be the best, he is mid and will remain mid until. we get ultra or mega balls. However once we can get some carddraw to speed up 3 stage decks GG is gonna be dropping GGs like I do with cupcakes!
@@PokéNinaaWell it's pretty bad. You get an EX cards that only does 100 max damage with an ability that would be useful if it was a base card, but it's a 2 stage evolution, by the time you get it the opponent doesn't need the supporter cards anymore as he'll probably already be set up too. I guess it has 170hp? But still you only have 100 damage with an ability that has no use at this point of the match. Also you give 2 points when your Gengar EX is defeated whereas the normal Gengar only gives a point. People will just play Mewtwo EX instead of Gengar EX. Also the win rate.. if you continue playing it more games, that winrate will be going down. There are many reasons why Gengar EX isn't a meta deck.
@ okay, fair, but “a menace” all he’s doing is stopping some supporter card. Jynx was doing more work so I’d overall consider him bad. Let’s be honest coming from snap. If it isn’t good enough to make even a B tier deck… it’s bad by default.
@ sometimes I suppose but pretty rare you will be saved by that in most games and in tournaments where people actually use Sabrina very well I would guess you wouldn’t want to be running Gengar. That being said I mean most games are just people playing nonsense like your first match where they’re attaching energy for no reason in a way that gets them killed because they don’t read Jynx. So I doubt they’re using Sabrina all that effectively either.
Found your channel like a week ago and been loving it. always chill and fun to watch :)

interesting! i like the idea of using one normal gengar.
Decklist pls
Gengar ex is just to Clunky. And too much energy for 100 dmg. Normal gengar way better
Yeah what's the deck look like?

I had 2 Jynx to start with but I found having 2 kind of redundant! Having Farfetch'd let me put pressure on my opponent early in the game.

WHAT THE ACTUAL F😭
It's a wonderful day when Nina is upload video
I play Gengar EX with normal Gengar and I do well. I just throw in Mewtwo for tank and a Pideot for cheese.

I run 2 mewtwo ex gardevoir and gengar ex its been working pretty good

I just hope everyone understands that pocket tcg is completely different from irl tcg
yes, we do understand that
