Nice video...I been in Onewind for over two years now and will never use anything else... Really love it...I missed very few weekends the last two years that I wasn't in mine...I've had no wear and tear either...Enjoyed 300 miles section hiking the AT this year with no problems...
Hey! Definitely going to get the gear hammock I think… mine didn’t come with a little gear store bag for in the hammock though, will have to ask lovely Col about that! It’s a brilliant setup, absolutely love mine!! 😍
@@NoviceWildCamper that would be great thank you so much! Preppers Shop gave me one that hangs at the side of the hammock (outside) but I can’t really make it work for me with this set up so something hanging from the ridgeline would definitely work better. 😍
Cheers buddy. I've changed it since then and do exactly that. Didnt realise how much difference it would make and originally thought that having the foot end higher would be a bad thing as when ground camping if you have to be on a slope you always have the foot end at the lowest point to save headaches 🤣👍
One wind is the best I've gone as far as getting a wind sock and added extra waterproofing so that I can use it a lot more incase it rains and trying to lighten the load a little hammock camping can get heavy on your shoulders if your trekking a while lol😅
Great to see a full one wind setup, as I'm thinking of getting the same thing. Probably the best value for money in the hammock world (that I've found), apart from the DIY route. Yeah the tarp might let some rain in, unfortunately. Try to set the hammock suspension above the tarp Ridgeline, so when you sit down it doesn't sag as much. Looking forward to see how well the set holds up over time, and to what lower temps you can get with it. Bit of advice, 28 min is not for everyone. As for reviews you might want to shorten it, but I appreciated the scenery and conversations :)
Cheers buddy. I did a follow up review (much shorter) on the onewind underquilt -17c degree. Worked really well in temps down to -6. I try to keep my videos down on time but sometimes it's hard. 👍
I can't wait to try hammock camping. I keep watching the pros and cons videos but at the end of the day you either want to do it or your don't. I don't care if it's more complicated.
Thanks for talking through your hammock set-up, looks good. I’ve got much to learn on hammock camping. Hammock table is a good idea, very handy. Thanks Michael 😀
Nice camp Mike Nice to see u both meet. Finally ha nice set up espically the multiuse chair, cover, storage can see u taking that every hammock camp 👍👍
Will defo be taking the chair with that hammock for sure. Great but of kit. You'll have to get your backside down to the tors with gez for a proper meet up. 👍
Hi🖐️ friend, I watched😍 your full video and ❤❤ really appreciate for your excellent👌👌 content experience mainly because due to extra suitable efforts for determining growth and👍👍 virtual streaming productivity with helpfulness tips.stay safe with 😊 stay connected🙋 🤝 .
@ApocalypsoAngler247 you can order from ali express then no problem. Might take a couple of weeks. Really decent quilt and kept me warm to below zero c. 👌👍
I mamaged a comfortable phoetal positing without laying diagonal across this hammock. It was my first night so will have to test some more but I was surprised at how comfy it was. Keep watching for future videos 👍
Was a pleasure finally meeting you Mike. Sorry for chatting so much crap all night and affecting your film 🤣 although I wouldn't change it, was a great night. Loved the whole drone segment, you really showed how beautiful the valley is. I bet it was a hard edit with my constant gas bagging in the background. I'll repay the favour and travel down your way next time #BRINGONTHETORS
🤣 cheers Gez. Was a good laugh and you didn't spoil anything. Thought it was gonna end up a 15 minute vid but no, I still had to drone on and drag it out to nearly half an hour 😂👌👍
Go read the manual then. You do have the option to fast forward you know. It wasn't titled a review, just using the onewind set up in a camping video. Thanks for watching though and making a structured moaning comment that I'm not interested in either. 👍
Have that entire set up too,its really well made🗽🛸
Yeah it's probably my favourite hammock set up 👍
Enjoyed the video brother! Thanks for sharing
Cheers buddy 👍
Loving your set up sir 😊

That's a lot of use. Good to see it stands up to long term wear too. Love onewind gear.
Onewind are bringing out some good affordable kitv
I've found it decent so far. Some really innovative ideas too. 👍

I've got a spare inner storage pouch if you want it 👍
@@NoviceWildCamper ah that would be great thank you so much!!! I assume it’s useful for putting little bits and bobs in?
Yeah I habe my phone and charger in there plus wallet, keys etc. Very handy as there's no pockets on the onewind hammock

Great stuff enjoyed that lovely camp I do like that hammock but I do have the decathlon one and tarp aswell
Thanks buddy. Decathlon do some great gear. Not checked their hammocks yet. I'll take a look. Atb 👍
Pull the foot end up a bit like you're popping a wheelie and you won't slide down. Great review!

Yeah I always thought it would be lighter than a tent. Big mistake 🤣
I got all this..hot tent..hammock..blanket..under quilt., ..snake skin...sh🎉it is bad ass..excellent quality... Excellent prices..
It is very decent gear 👍 love a hot tent 👌

I think people make a big deal out of it. I'm totally new and find it pretty simple. Love it, was out last night in snow 👍
Loving the henge hammocks ridgeline, its fantastic.
It's so simple. Cant be faffing with knots 😂👍
wish id had it at the weekend, knots are an arse. wouldnt have found it unless youd posted it, cheers.
No problem. 👍
Any fan of boyz is fine by me ,new sub here and stay safe debs xx
Ah thanks debs. Much appreciated. He's a good guy 👍(they are 😂)

Cheers Rachel. It's a good set up, just got to test it out more. Still yet to finalise the table design though. Work in progress 👍

It's still a work in progress. Not quite perfected yet.

as a side sleeper, im curious how this compares to the haven for sleeping
I managed to sleep well on my side. Was my first night though so keep watching for follow up videos.
You don't mention the tarp length in the video, is the 11ft tarp or the 12ft? I'm asking since you say it's not covering too well
@@vagstephanou_videos I believe it's the 11ft
What top quilt did you say you're using?
It's the flames creed quilt. Can get them from UK at outdoorgearessentials.co.uk or on ali express. 👍
@@NoviceWildCamper oh ok because I'm in the USA
@@NoviceWildCamper is AliExpress good?

As good as anywhere else. I've had loads from there and never had an issue. It's basically a Chinese amazon just not as quick delivery 😂

OneWind are quality gear. How long do you think until you've finalised the table bud?
Not long hopefully. Needs to be right. 👍
