I have everything but the under quilt at this point and I love the damn thing, I am fairly new to hammock camping but I find this extremely easy to set up and compared to sleeping on the ground or packing a tent around, I really don't mind packing this beauty around when I'm backpacking. Couple pounds isn't much when you consider the following: you're comfortable, dry and off the ground. A good nights sleep is almost the most important thing about camping.
I can tell you the tarp is phenomenal. I’ve had it a little under 6 months with 20ish nights under it. Severe storms on about 10 of those days. I had a stake pop loose in the wind but it was because the ground got so wet so fast the stake came out. The tarp is freaking bomb proof.
Just got this hammock and under quilt for Christmas. Used it this weekend and love it! Especially since I was going from a very generic hammock that was gifted to me by a buddy and it didn’t have the straps or bug net or any of these great features. I was super grateful for it but it was time to move on. So happy I went with Onewind. Great video by the way! Very informative.
I initially got the Onewind 12ft double wide, after trying two others, and loved it so much I bought a second ! I'm 5'8" and get a perfect diagonal flat lay in it, and can sleep on my side as well. What's great about Onewind is that you can purchase the extras one at a time as neeed/can afford them. I keep one hanging at home. The other in my rucksack/b.o.b. The ridgeline is excellent, as is the bugnet. No zippers... My tarp is an Amazon special 10x12' in a diamond and it works just fine
Interesting fact that I haven't found one single bad review on any onewind products....top notch quality at my broken budget price range.i love them.nice review.
I feel that when you said it's overwhelming. Tent camping I use a zero degree quilt Coleman sleeping bag since I'm 6'2 ! And covers well and keeps me warm. I hope that this system can keep me warm in the southern Oregon area during these winter months while it's my most favorite season to camp. It normally ranges from 27-75 during the winter and I want to make sure it stays dry as I bikepack and backpack
I think the one wind hammock brand is one of the best ive seen. The 11ft size is awesome for taller people. Comes with a ridge line and the best suspension system ive seen. Good set up and system
Nice demo. Much appreciated. As for their web site, although they identify Canada and it’s Provinces for shipping, they actually don’t have prices for shipping to those place, therefore you can not complete your purchased order from their site.
Interesting my hammock doesn't have the tabs to hook underquilt but love there stuff have the hammock poncho and gear loft they sent me wish they had a square tarp and bunch of tie outs. Thanks for sharing
It's so true, I've been hammock camping for yrs and seen all the websites, alot of them can get rather confusing and downright too expensive especially in the under/overquilt department.
Great review. I'm considering buy some One Wind products, and this video was extremely helpful. You mentioned, you were comfortable at 28 degrees. Did you employ the extra blanket, on just the under guilt by itself? Thanks
Nice setup. Iam 6'3 189cm, 205lbs , is the 11 foot hammock big enough or should I pick the 12 foot version? The only problem with these bigger hammocks is that my Tarp is just 3x3m. ^^
great system if you want something that weighs a ton... theyre good for car camping... for hiking... theyre garbage....any temps below 40... you need 2 layers under you and a top quilt... i carry an 85 liter pack... and to be able to handle 35 degrees or lower... it fills my pack out.. now if youre car camping... it big thing.. or if youre camping in 50 degree weather... its not bad.. and... i ordered the underquilt and blanket combo... took over a month to get the blanket layer... they didnt have it at the u.s. warehouse... so i had to wait for it to come FROM china... and im guessing they shipped it ON A FREAKING SHIP... for it to take THAT long... its going in the trash... and i wont buy anything else from onewind... so... if you want cheap ars car camping gear... here ya go... for backpacking or hiking in winter.. do t waste your money... and dont expect it to get to you in less than a month... wish i hadnt wasted the money paying for 4 to 8 day shipping 😒

11ft size is minimum for just about anyone if you’re planning to sleep in it.

Great video brother. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you...have to watch later!
Seriously looking at the underquilt.Fall is coming that's my fave time.
Kool set up. I like hammocks for down here in the south.
Excellent review, thank you.
Thanks for filming
Very informative. Looking for under quilt, bug net, tarp. System. Basically a new system. Have Eno with suspension straps and that's it.

What is the diameter of the rubber - the elastick shock cord (mm)?

Did you get one? Did the tarp work in diamond set up?
@@ashab1 I bought the 12 Gott version and a dd tarp xl and iam happy with that. Diamond setup works fine but not in combination with a hammock^^
I like 4m x 4m dd tarp. Has center line tie outs, very handy. Decent price
