This guy is a great example for how a "kids game" can not only set your path to your future but also how it can be used to get a career. You need to show more people who got a career with the help of Minecraft.
that is some insane dedication. I wonder if they have any plans to add a park to the city, like a proper one with paths, benches, off limits areas etc.
I have, however, been part of Cubed almost from the start :) I didn't start Andea, but I was brought on pretty early on and led the development of a lot of the older areas
Yeh i watch Alpine1. Hes amazing at building in this game. Im into City building myself. I got a world called Llanfordshire that ive been working on for the past 5 Years.
In this video you pondered how many people got into their caree because of minecraft or for that matter any video game. My first career choice was architecture and if this game existed them I can tell you it would have been a major influence as it was for Alpine. But I eventually got into IT because of my desire to learn how to code because I wanted to host my own Ultima Online shard. So yeah even for old people like my self computer games are big influence in ones career. We need more games out there that can serve as platforms for careers. It would be nice to see more concentration on creative games like Minecraft but into other realms of careers and less concentration on the copious amount of pointless games we have these days.
My Minecraft City is 7100x6700 blocks in City metro size. However, my friends City has a size of up to 60,000x5600 blocks, but theyre more separate in metro cities/towns.
Sounds cools, i should try watching your vids and also, since you have a bunch of vids and playlists i just gotta check, got any easy recomendation video to start out with? ( I can figure that out) And also, is there any vids on your friends cities on your channel or does he have his own or so?
Until there's some way to animate the city's in minecraft. I keep using city skylines for city projects. Anything else its minecraft. Don't get me wrong its fantastic but its kind of watching life after people.
So I’m fairly new to Minecraft and I live in California I was wondering if there was anybody in California that does like classes or can teach someone all there is to know about Minecraft and all the special features and so so forth I am getting a PC January and want to only use it for Minecraft I want as many mods and textures as I can get so I can build on peaceful if there’s anybody out there that can do classes or teach all the secrets and trades and what not I would be so grateful I’ve gotten pretty far on pocket edition, but someone said PC opens so many doors
I would be more impressed if this city was built with all vanilla blocks but they literally added every mod they could find to add every single shape and block available to Java, without them this build would have never even gotten started....
@@Immbrodie I'm literally looking at hundreds of blocks that are not vanilla everything from handrails, chains, furniture, plant vase, dressers and much more.
@Alpine1 Never said it was a "terrible build". It looks amazing. Just using world edit, and copying and pasting builds isn't for me. If this was all done in survival or hardcore with no mods... Then that would be truly impressive.
Thanks for touring with me! It was fun showing you around :)

Nice city! You should explore the End City next, i heard it’s pretty great
I think they started the city with oak wood, nothing too special
🤔

I love this video! I hope we can get more like it! Interviews and exploring a world! Definitely going to be a must watch next time this comes around!
Well this crossover episode between Toycat and Alpine wasn't on my 2024 bingo card.

Alpine is not a founder. The founder was fallrise (no longer active). The owner/head admin of the server is aequotis
I have, however, been part of Cubed almost from the start :) I didn't start Andea, but I was brought on pretty early on and led the development of a lot of the older areas
Thank you for your response, further clarifying your role

@@aequotis hi Adam
This is the only server I play on. I cant believed i missed that you were here
this is one of the things that is taken so seriously that no time is spent hyping it up and it becomes very underrated
great of you to cover this, alpine is an awesome guy
As a civil engineer and a huge minecraft nerd, this might be the coolest thing i’ve ever seen!!
Wow this mustve taken a loooong time to build, totally cool ! ✌😺
This is 1 of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen in Minecraft!!!

Great comment, thank you for sharing :)
Amazing build but I think cities should grow organically instead of being centrally planned.
Well, that’s not how real cities work, so I don’t understand how it would work here.
How about both? If there's no planning then it would be a mess but if it's too much planning then it might look boring.
I Love The City So Much To See And Do (Also Why dose toycat's Voice Sound Like 2012 Toycat ha ha)
Alpine and Toycat in the same video!
This would be great for a zombie survival world or something
This is so amazing! Y’all are so talented!
I didn't know you came by my realm, literally how? Oh, that? The biggest? Not even close.
Yeah it’s like 2000x3000 Greenfield, the most downloaded minecraft city is 9000x5000
Meanwhile ONO, the biggest city by a single person is 6000x4000

That what she said
We also have a city build going on although it's not this big and built out yet. It's losely based on Los Angeles and Atlanta
The intro tells me this guy used to watch Top Gear 😆 Love it! Epic city!
I'm glad you got the reference haha
