i just wanted to say that brandi has a special spot in my heart. she's one of the biggest singer/songwriters of this generation and this song is a proof of that 💕
For those wondering, it is indeed Fulton County, Georgia. Brandi introduced the song during a concert and explained that she wrote it after one of her musicians cried over the story of this Jane Doe in Fulton County, Georgia.
You and me both. I discovered her while watching the Grammy's in 2017. I was blown away by this performance and I have been a fan ever since. ua-cam.com/video/KJqL1yIm9e0/v-deo.html
Heard this for the first time during her live stream concert at the Ryman Auditorium. I cried like a baby lol. Now I have to buy the last album on payday.
Is this the best song ever? I cant listen to it without crying. So sad, so beautiful. Mind you, I can't listen to Party of One from the same album without a river running down my cheeks. And then there's The Joke.... Brandi, not forgetting Phil and Tim, have created an absolute masterpiece. She takes a sad song and makes it better. She's that good. Best song of 2018 so far. The bar's been set high.
Thank you this one touches close realclose. Thank you. Well Brandi its one week later the vulture led me tosomething this morning i told you your song was toclose ,God almighty music is not of this world, thank you for helping
A lot of states have the same County’s and same named towns in their states. I’m going to pretend Brandi is talking about Fulton County in Georgia. Since I live in Georgia. Brandie Carlile is one of my favorite female singers. 🤗
yeah i had to look up how many Fulton Counties that there are in the US... i think i saw at least 6... I thought about the Braves stadium at first. I haven't stopped there for more than a few hours since the 90's...
Judson Clayto We know that it is Fulton County, Ga. now. Cold case since 1988. Very sad Grady Hospital couldn't save her life. I do hope and pray someone will know her and can claim her remains. God Bless Jane Doe. 😢

Were you on the Atlanta police department? The 3 confessed. But why can't today's DNA find out who she is?I remember the incident as I'm from college park.
It's the drums. They sound like they've been lifted straight off Don't Look Back In Anger. Once you hear it you cant unhear it. Doesnt stop these being a brilliant song though....better than Oasis imho!
That'd be one depressing rom com, since Fulton County Jane Doe was an unidentified woman who was found beaten on the side of the road a few days before she died. You can read more about her here: www.doenetwork.org/cases/172ufga.html
Her music always touches me to the depths of my soul. I feel like she never leaves a stone unturned, and that's one of her gifts as an artist.

Getting those "for what it's worth" buffalo Springfield vibes in the intro and diggin' it. Loving the new album!

My favorite song on an amazing album....so far, subject to change (daily even)

See Rachel Moon's comment below. It is indeed Georgia, and a true story, to be unsolved to this day.

Fulton County is a county in Atlanta. LOL it can also be a county in another state there's a lot of counties that are the same in different states
I dunno why but the guitar reminds me of Oasis (in a good way!)

first song about Fulton County that I've heard which is not in the rap genre...
