mrs mills was a born to play piano.but how gifted her touch was magic.play all the time love piano.these days piano trumpet sax and violen r not heard much.
we didnt' need colour or hi definition pictures, internet or any of today's modernisms - we had the likes of Mr. Mills/Russ Conway and Winifred Atwell to keep us entertained - simpler times and we were just as happy as we are now - probably happier
Just noticed my Mrs Mills Playlist is my most viewed of all playlists , over 329, 000 views ...amazing ... Shame Glad cant see how popular she is :) ms
Music Selection Yes good old Glad is still popular after all those years. Long may she tinkle those ivories into the future... Thank you for your visits...lol!
Hello wordsmith thank you for your kind music but how did you get it? Is it a single or on a lp i really love the first song but i want to listen it on my record player i hope you have the time to answer it greatings maurice
It's all transcribed from one of her many LPs. If you want to hear it on a record player you would would need to get hold of the LPs. I got most of mine from charity shops fir very little dosh. She did loads of LPs from 1962 til the 1970s, but she passed on (1978) before CD compilations arrived. Might be some on EBay or Amazon...
Mrs. Mills could really play
She was amazing..
Love all her arrangements and great songs.

Love the way you've incorporated the actual footage of our Glad here Steve - and the raised glass at the end is a nice touch.

Don't like the sound of that piano, sounds distorted
Yes I think it probably was.
It’s been tuned honky tonk style, with the inclusion of metal strips rather than a soft hammer hitting the strings, hence the tinny sound.
