Antisemitism and Islamophobia - What every Muslim needs to know.

The task of defining Islamophobia is fraught with legal, theological and ideological complications.
What is the basis of an authoritative and acceptable definition is still a question of ongoing debate. Many would argue that there are cases where a definition has been formulated to counter prejudice, and that such definitions have led to a significant impact in protecting communities. Antisemitism is a case in point. However, is useful, indeed wise, for the Muslim community in the West to advocate a similar set of protection that are currently afforded to the Jewish community?
