No Catholic believes Mary or any saint is God nor do we believe any statue, painting, etc, of anyone is a god. We do not worship them. Do you bring flowers and items to your relatives' graves? That is what this is like. No one is praying that an intimate object help them. Also, Catholics define prayer as communication/talking. Prayer doesn't = worship. You ask your friends to pray for you. It is the same thing. We are all one body in Christ. We can help each other out no matter where we are on earth or in heaven. That is what people ask for when they "pray" to the saints. We are asking for our brothers and sisters' intercession before God. I hope that helps to clarify things.

In watching this video it is obvious that the persons who made it have some sophisticated modern equipment. So why while telling the stories do they find it necessary to jump back and forth from one video or picture to another that has nothing to do with the statue or doll they are talking about and, if they do happen to show the one they are talking about it's only for a brief few seconds and they don't use any of their modern editing equipment to enlarge and or use slow motion to show the said movement.

No Catholic believes that a statue is a living creature/god. The tears could be a hoax but it seems they verified by cameras that no one was messing with the statue. Given that, it seems like a legit miracle of God using a statue to get our attention and to help The world to wake up and repent. A tree is known by its fruits, so are miracles. :)
