Roxanna, if you put a remote control outlet on that outlet with a surge protector, maybe that could help? Your gardens look so beautiful and I love watching you work because it makes me run outside and work too 😂😂😂. I’m going to keep watching your video now! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
That outlet has a cover on it, kinda huge and a pain to open, the wifi timer that I have for the fountain is exposed (shown after) and I think that may be the part getting wet and resetting that outlet
@@SoilandMargaritas I have one of those outlets with the plastic cover that every time I open it, I imagine a tarantula jumping out based on the webs 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂it’s easier to just add mosquito spray to the shower water😂😂 Loved it! Thanks for the skeeter spray dance-Too funny! I’m glad ours cooled it somewhat. Holy heck they were atrocious! Hmm, try turning the electric connection sideways so water can’t get into outlet, or cover it. It might be tripper the breaker or GFI outlet when water gets in there. Yes, very busy time right now. I have some cauliflower transplants, but I’m experiencing pest pressure and not sure what is eating leaves. Yesterday I seen all the leaves were off the cherry shrubs also and that’s a job tomorrow to figure out what happened. I need to dig them up and get them closer to house. Suppose I will need to fertilize them and if they regrow wrap them up for winter. Your garden looks great! We still have potatoes to dig. Yea, there’s a lot to do and to start clearing out also. Bugs 😵💫 Ugh! Then you mentioned pots to clean 😧. If you know an easy way please let me know. And maybe I should try to start more seeds in trays. I made a mistake with cauliflower-they looked great and set them in the garden and I think slugs got to them as most looked like sticks. It’s been a wet year and we normally don’t have slugs. Don’t know if they will grow yet and our frost comes soon even though these are only 45 days. Oh well.
If I have a LOT of containers at once, I just setup my wagon with some water and I let them soak in there for a bit, and I use one of those dish-cleaning sponges and I clean each container individually. With the few I have now, I only need my sponge and the hosereel to clean them right away, it doesn't take much time but I want to make sure I remove all soil from all the little corners.
@@SoilandMargaritas yea, I threw them in a wheelbarrow with some disinfectant and took a bottle brush. I have so many as I have a north and south garden. I think I can cut back some next year. Lol, I like it when my SIL returns them-they are all shiny and clean. Wonder if she would like a few more🤔😝
Initially my outdoor fountain's electrical connection was covered with a heavy plastic bag, but it was impossible to completely seal the inside of the bag from moisture. Then I searched the internet for ....weatherproof power cord connection box... the openings are lined with foam that seals the inside of the box from moisture. Plus, the power connection is elevated from touching the bottom of the box, just in case there should be any leakage.
I did start some brassicas outdoors in my 6 and 4 cells, sadly a cabbage worm ate most of the leaves! I recently got my first Greenstalk (Blueberry, and thanks for the code!) I started some lettuce in the top tier. I transplanted a few things to some of the other tiers and will start some carrots soon.
My cauliflower were ate also and thought maybe slugs, but now I wonder. We normally don’t have slugs but we’ve had a lot of rain. Not sure if I can get them to grow again.
Oh I know, honestly, if it wasn't for this spray I don't think I would be able to be outside at all, mosquitoes LOVE me, they don't care about anyone else in my whole city but if I am outside I feel like they know and they take advantage... I have to repeat the spray at least a couple of hrs later and I am ok with that.
@@SoilandMargaritaslol, I was wearing a head net-they were that bad and it was sooo hot here. This cool down and drier air backed the buzzers down finally.
Amiga, you've been missed! I started broccoli, cabbage, greens, peas, snow peas, and another round of tomatoes. This was done mid-July. And some little critter ate my broccoli and cabbage 😢
I went into my garden for the first time in 8 days. Tropical storm Debbie killed off my two rose standards, knocked my Jerusalem artichokes down, and drowned my dahlias. The weeds are thriving, though!
I have 3 shrubs of those hydrangeas, they are LITTLE QUICK FIRE ones and they do “ok” here, I think they would prefer somewhere with a bit more shade in my opinion

I started using Bootstrap container systems this year. Game changer! They are great. I gave away all my other seed starting supplies.
:Your garden looks like it has weathered the heat remarkably well; it is just gorgeous!
I am also in central Indiana, just south of Indy. Everything you show is so applicable to my gardens!
Omg those coneflowers!!!❤❤
Right? So cute!

So good to see you Roxanna, you are so inspiring to me 😅😅😊😊😊
Your black Adirondack chairs are gorgeous
Thank you! I like them so much!
I love your videos! You just get after it all.
Thank you! 😘

I am definitely going to look into that. I need to do something for sure.
Loved to see you being sponsored by Bootstrap. I have a lot of Bootstrap containers and I love them. But of course I want more….❤
Of course! The moment they come out with a different size or a new color then its another little investment :)
I LOVE my Bootstrap Farmer supplies! I only use them! Thanks!
They are amazing really, 5 years using them and still haven’t broken one (knocking on wood)
So good to see you. It’s a busy time for the garden , so thanks for taking the time.
You are so welcome!

Very nice! I am still debating if I want to use my greenstalk for the fall.

ENJ🪴YED‼️
Everything looks so beautiful ❤
I hate having to put on bug spray first thing in the morning but it's a must in my garden, as well!

Thank you for sharing! ❤❤❤

The water fountain looks so nice where it is .
Thank you!

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that.
I just LOVE LOVE the fountain area space. What is the name of that lacy looking hydrangea surrounding the fountain? SO PRETTY!
I have 3 shrubs of those hydrangeas, they are LITTLE QUICK FIRE ones and they do “ok” here, I think they would prefer somewhere with a bit more shade in my opinion
Love that area of your garden, the coneflowers were a nice addition!! Did you say you purchased at Menards?
I did! Menards had a bunch of them, I’m tempted to go back for a dozen more 😝
There are varieties of lettuce specifically for winter growing and their flavor is delicious, just FYI
