Cream tag action is the only the broken thing. Tails or Amy tag action on the ground is great for reaching heights, only difference is tails pushes u forward a little bit while Amy is straight up a lot. In the air, tails helps the character to fly while Amy shoots you upward but turns u into a ball to attack enemies. Knuckles is pretty much useless for the most part and only to break strong blocks when used on the ground, when in the air is just medicore at best when gliding together. Otherwise the only good thing is that to tease the AI partner or bully him with his ground tag action and get him killed by bottomless pit or crushing blocks. Sonic is just only good for speed and momentum and time attack mode regardless when u are using his tag action on the air or ground.

That's because Eggman made him to be a more powerful version of Emerl from Sonic Battle. Also it always seems like the more powerful Eggman makes a robot, the more likely it is to betray him and go beserk, first Metal Sonic, now Gemerl.
I mean, now that I think about it, sonic is pretty strong. He could probably beat bosses with his pure strength, but he does it the old fashion way: hit the big weak spot

The nostalgia is real. I feel like crying because i gotten this on my 8th birthday back in 2004 and seeing that they used the co-op formula with tag moves amazed me back then. I'll never understand why Sonic villains never hold on to the Emeralds after getting all of them... they steal them all and literally seconds afterwards, they just drop them so that Sonic can use them too. Dumb or fair players?

Also could we admire how absolutely OP the 4th boss is? I mean you cannot kill him by normal means, you have to push it up in order to destroy it, and letting him go to the other side is practically a trap because he somehow gets the speed of a fucking train and can kill you if you are not prepared

I remember playing this when I was younger with my cousin. We were stuck on the Twinkle Snow boss forever until I finally got it. Looking at it now, it seems so simple.

The whole "Tails is useless" thing is relatively recent. At first, he was really useful. He was immortal in Sonic 2 and 3, helping in the take down of bosses and lifting Sonic to places he couldn't reach, in his own games he showed that he is a strong, independant fox who needs no Sonic to save islands and defeat empires, in Sonic Adventure he was absolutely necesary and helped Sonic get away from many problems, in Lost World he even kept arguing with Sonic because he wasn't in agreement with him (he was right, to boot)... It's just in the recent games, like Generations, Colors or, specially, Forces, where he became a damsel in distress. And just those coined by Sonic Team, because in Sonic Boom and Sonic Mania he is, once again, super useful. My guess is that someone in Sonic Team really dislikes him, and anyone who isn't Sonic (and maybe Shadow).
I love the fact you are playing as Sonic & Tails for the most part and not any other characters like having yourself as Knuckles, Amy, Cream or as a partner. I play this game so many times especially on Time Attack mode. However the only flaws about this game is the enemy placements, level design and AI partner system (even some parts I like them in terms of bullying/teasing them), otherwise the boss fights are fun but challenging.
Here's what I noticed: everyone who voices Eggman has to say the line "You little...!" (Everyone but the guy who VA'd Classic Eggman in Sonic Generations, that is.)
This game has a really sad feeling too it like they haven’t gotten over emerl’s death... there are references to his legacy and Demise all through this game. It makes me feel very empty inside. Makes me think of my dead mother and the home I once had in the forests. I used to play this when she’d drive me home... I was happy. Then she was killed in an accident... now I live all alone in the city...
It seems the girls in the Sonic series get a lot of the cool robot friends, Amy with Gamma, Rouge (+Shadow technically) with Omega, and Cream with first Emerl and now Gemerl.

I always played as Sonic and Knuckles in this game, they were able to do special abilities that made the game more easier, especially the final boss battle! I think I beat this game like 5 times

on January 5th 2010 my brother had a cartridge of this game while playing on Twinkle Snow and not being able to defeat the 5th boss, but he accidentally left the GBA turned on all the night, and for some reason, the next day, the game appeared on the Altar Emerald as Cream & Amy for some reason like what the heck the game beated itself without us doing nothing and no, no one around here was skilled enough to beat the 5th boss so it's theoretically impossible that someone would have played it before my brother wake up on that day it's even stranger because the save data got reseted after turning off the GBA and the game acted like if we never played it before

I am not gonna lie, I really love the thumbnail it is pretty funny and adorable. Sonic Advance 3 and Sonic Rush will always be my favourite Sonic games. I love Sonic Advance, Advance 2, Heroes, Adventure 1+2,06,Riders,Riders:Zero Gravity,Unleashed, Dr.Eggman's Mean Bean Machine,Sonic Spinball,
3D Blast,Sonic 2+3,CD,Sonic Chaos,Sonic 1+2+ Triple Trouble on Game Gear and Rush Adventure. Sonic Advance 3 being my favourite game of all time along with Sonic Rush again. Everyone talking bad about this game. I liked him. When i got the true ending, we can see a re-born G-Merl, geting another chance in his non-life (because he's a robot). I think he is the first one of Dr. Robotnick to get a new path, followed by Omega after that.

First would technically be Gamma, though he disables his self repair so that the flicky inside of him can escape after he is mortally wounded by Beta.

The whole "Tails is useless" thing is relatively recent. At first, he was really useful. He was immortal in Sonic 2 and 3, helping in the take down of bosses and lifting Sonic to places he couldn't reach, in his own games he showed that he is a strong, independant fox who needs no Sonic to save islands and defeat empires, in Sonic Adventure he was absolutely necesary and helped Sonic get away from many problems, in Lost World he even kept arguing with Sonic because he wasn't in agreement with him (he was right, to boot)...
It's just in the recent games, like Generations, Colors or, specially, Forces, where he became a damsel in distress. And just those coined by Sonic Team, because in Sonic Boom and Sonic Mania he is, once again, super useful. My guess is that someone in Sonic Team really dislikes him, and anyone who isn't Sonic (and maybe Shadow).
I love the fact you are playing as Sonic & Tails for the most part and not any other characters like having yourself as Knuckles, Amy, Cream or as a partner. I play this game so many times especially on Time Attack mode. However the only flaws about this game is the enemy placements, level design and AI partner system (even some parts I like them in terms of bullying/teasing them), otherwise the boss fights are fun but challenging.

My 1st sonic advance game as a kid, I was 6 years old and fell in love with the sonic game series since then
Here's what I noticed: everyone who voices Eggman has to say the line "You little...!"
(Everyone but the guy who VA'd Classic Eggman in Sonic Generations, that is.)
Get Cream as our partner and Sonic as the leader and then you'll kick every bosses's butts.

This game has a really sad feeling too it like they haven’t gotten over emerl’s death... there are references to his legacy and Demise all through this game. It makes me feel very empty inside. Makes me think of my dead mother and the home I once had in the forests. I used to play this when she’d drive me home... I was happy. Then she was killed in an accident... now I live all alone in the city...

its actually the other way around Battle(2003) came out before Advance 3(2004) and Germel is in fact a with Phi technology rebuild Emerl (hence the name)

I always played as Sonic and Knuckles in this game, they were able to do special abilities that made the game more easier, especially the final boss battle! I think I beat this game like 5 times

on January 5th 2010 my brother had a cartridge of this game while playing on Twinkle Snow and not being able to defeat the 5th boss, but he accidentally left the GBA turned on all the night, and for some reason, the next day, the game appeared on the Altar Emerald as Cream & Amy for some reason

and no, no one around here was skilled enough to beat the 5th boss so it's theoretically impossible that someone would have played it before my brother wake up on that day
it's even stranger because the save data got reseted after turning off the GBA and the game acted like if we never played it before
