Thank you for the informational video. Kailan po ba kusang nag-ooffer ng secured credit card ang isang bank? kapag mataas po ba ang laman ng savings account mo sa kanila?
Hi! Nakikita din ba sa credit history ung mga payments sa cable or internet? Also, where can I find the list of the companies/ banks na nag susubmit ng report sa CIC? Thank you

Thank you
Good day thanks to your very informative content. I did not know that i shouldnt max out the card and that may affect my credit score. I have a secured credit card with metrobank since june of this year and for the last 2 months i almost maxout the credit and it reflected on my soa although i pay it full before due date. I would like to know how long it will take for my credit to go being good again if i follow 30% utilization for incoming months. What if i pay it full before soa will it work? Which would be more better. Thanks
Hi Paolo! If you can pay it and avoid it being reflected on your SOA, the better. Credit utilization is only computed after your billing cutoff. I do that too. I always pay before the cutoff. And it works naman for me because I only use my credit card if I know na meron akong pambayad. Your credit score will improve naman as long as you use your credit card wisely. Credit utilization is just 15% of your total credit score, so pwede kang bumawi sa ibang factors. Hope this helps!
Hello! I appreciate this content so much, it is something kasi na I don’t pay attention to before until I became aware how credit score can also affect you in the future. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. 😊
hello po sir i hope ma read nyo po ito..considered deliquent po ba if i only pay minimum amount? and what if I own 4 CCs po will it affect my credit score if I use them all?
hi sir. Do I still have a chance to have a good credit score or stuck na ako sa low credit score? previously kasi I was very irresponsible. But now, I have paid all my balances sa postpaid plan ko and even renewed from them.
This info is very helpful. Im curious what my credit score is...some banks approved me for credit card while others they keep on declining me. Even the bank where I have my savings/payroll account keeps on declining me. I could say I have substantial amount there. Other banks approved me right away without any savings account. And I could tell you they gave me a good credit line. I got 2 ccs now.I do paid my balance in full as well. So Im just wondering hows the credit score plays out here.

@cora joy sorbito hi! higher chance of not being approved if hindi maganda ang bank credit mo, but it doesn't mean na hindi ka na ma-aapprove. But always note mo lang na 1.) the discretion to approve or disapprove you a bank loan is the bank mismo. 2.) Regardless if you ge t approved or not, the *bank will never disclose the reason/s why you were approved or disapproved of such loans.* Kung ma-aapprove ka man, most likely baka mas mataas ang interest rate na ibibigay sayo ng bank. Hope this helps!
Hello po sir.. I had a canceled credit card before. it was already transfered to collections agency, thankfully I was able to pay in full.. so.zero balance na xa.. will that lower my credit score drastically? will I recover from that pa.po b?
Hi princess. Definitely that highly affected your credit score. If you don't have any credit accounts right now, assumingly your score would still be the same. The only way to improve it is by having a new credit account and ALWAYS PAYING ON TIME AND IN FULL. :)
@@osheanlee hi sir.. I still mantain 1 credit card account right now, and I always make sure that I paid on time.. so this means that I will recover or improve my credit score? thank u po sir and more power
How do we compute the 30% credit limit utilization? By the end of your cut off you should have 70% credit limit remaining? What if I swipe and pay immediately so at the end of my cut off my credit limit is still intact so it means that I did not utilize my credit limit?
Hi! Whatever is reflected in your credit card statement na kelangan mo bayaran, yun yung gagamitin mo sa formula mo to compute your credit utilization rate.
Hi Benjames! If umabot sa cut-off and nag-reflect sa billing statement mo yung balance -- yes, possible na magddecrease pa rin ang credit score mo. Better if bayaran mo siya before ng billing cycle mo. Hope this helps! A healthy credit utilization rate would usually be approx 10% of your credit limit.
Hi Sean! This is a great question. From what I've read so far, as long as you pay before your billing cutoff, it will not negatively affect your credit score. Your credit utilization rate will only be factored in after the billing cutoff (i.e. your outstanding balance). So for example, you used Php 5000, and then you already paid half of it, so then the other Php 2500 will be the one reflected on your credit utilization rate. Logically speaking kasi, it's like you used your credit card as cash because you are able to pay it even before the billing cutoff. Some articles are saying that great credit scores have 10-30% credit utilization rate. Here's one article that I found super interesting about credit utilization. Hope this helps! :) www.valuepenguin.com/credit-utilization
Hi, can you upgrade your secured card to a regulard cc without cancelling your secured card so that you can still maintain your credit score? Coz i heard that once you closed your card, it will have a negative impact on your credit score? Thank you!
Hi! So bale ang mangyayari is once tapos na yung holding period ng secured credit card mo, you can have it converted to an unsecured credit subject to the bank's approval. Your credit score and credit history would still remain the same. :)
Thanks po sa reply. Are they going to change my physical secured card po if ever approved na po ako for regular cc? And if so, ano po mangyayari sa secured card ko kung papalitan na sya? Salamat po
@@Pauljack2370 Oh possible din! Depende, if pwede mo ipa-upgrade. I haven't tried it personally, pero from what I've heard, pwede siya ipa-upgrade -- but again subject to the bank's approval :)

Nagre-refresh/reset din ba ang credit score every year?
Not sure about the frequency but I believe it could be even less than a year.
