Honda Shadow 1100 Oil Change and Final Drive Service

1998 Honda Shadow 1100 Oil change, filter, and final drive service. Pretty straight forward as far as ease of access to drain and fill locations. Oil filter is in a weird location but not hard to get to. Any questions or concerns leave it in the comments.

Aren’t we such a smart ass. I have 3 separate drain pans. One for coolant, one for oil, and one for trans fluid. But I guess I’m not as wise and smart as you.

What were the torque specs for thise bolts or did you just tighten and give it the qtr inch bump??

STEVE FRIEND ditto, do you need to use genuine honda final drive fluid or is there a type of gear oil that could be used?

I used Lucas heavy duty sae 80w-90 gear oil in the drive. Motor oil is 10w-40 gn 4 Honda. Says in owners manual. I'm using valvoline 10w-40 4 cycle oil
