Thank you for watching today's video! Here is the Morning Routines Mega Motivation Playlist ➡️ cli.re/Morning-Routine-Playlist I hope these videos give you inspiration to fine-tune your own morning routine. Love, Jennifer
God ALWAYS appreciates a shout-out... Amen? New subber, from your eternal sister in Christ somewhere near Seattle. ⚘🙏❤🙏⚘ So glad that I found your channel.
It's funny that this came up because quite literally a few weeks ago I thought that Jennifer seemed like a person that might be religious, in a nice way because of her interest in personal growth, being kind, accountability, etc... and the dominant religion here being christianity. However, I was thinking how very thankful I am that she never mentions it or tried to tie everything into it. But look here! An opportunity for me to be a grown-up! I've followed other helpful youtubers but hit a point where everything was tied into religion so it made it unrelatable and therefore unhelpful to me. I grew up with christians that didn't behave very christ-like and I ended up finding and following my path that brought me the peace and equanimity I learned for. Seeing as I've already fallen in love with this channel, read and purchased all the books, and already had plans to join the chic club when my lost credit card replacement arrives, maybe I can work on this heavy chip on my shoulder. (Sorry to talk about you Jennifer, as if you're not here and reading your own comment section!)
I am pleasantly surprised that you get ready much later in the morning. I imagined that you woke up and immediately were grooming and dressing. I am happy to know that you ease into the morning and spend time with God first 😁
You look lovely and I respect how you keep your kids out of the videos. I think the future of internet is unknown and protecting the future of our children is key. This video made me smile. Thank you for all that you do:) I woke up extra early today and it felt amazing to be up and not rushed. Good day!
I got into the habit of reading the bible last Christmas when someone said if you read 1 ch. of Luke each day in December, you will have read the entire story of Christmas by the 25th. I got out of the habit not too long ago so thank you for the reminder that it's such a better way to start the day than diving straight into social media.
I appreciate all you do. I retired seven years ago. I am 72 and I would encourage women of all ages listen to your common sense and re-evaluate how they do their day. Also, you helped me to understand that looking nice at home is important. I have been decluttering. I have a lot of those blue and white porcelain containers, jars. Blue is my favorite color. I read my Bible first thing every morning also, with coffee. Peace and love.
I'm 61 and have only just realised the importance of doing things for yourself that make you feel good. I've been one of life's givers but being at the bottom of the pile means you've let yourself go completely. I've got new goals to care for me too 🤗
I have to tell you, I was watching this in the kitchen while doing some work when my six-year-old son came into the room. He pointed at the screen and said "she's a pretty lady!" I watch UA-cam while doing kitchen work quite often, but you are the first person he's felt the need to compliment like that. ;-)
I love that yellow dress and you look so pretty in it. You look so relaxed with your coffee working on your computer. A lovely video. Thank you for sharing your routine. I get up early for my two cats and even though I will soon be eighty, I go, go, go all day. But everything takes more time when you age. I have a daily exercise routine called callanetics and I do weights also. Without those exercises, I would be in constant pain.
What do you use for callenetics? I’ve heard of that and heard it is good. If you are so active at 80 that speaks for the value of it. Is it a book or a video / dvd program?
@@Julia29853 The Callanetics exercise programme was created by Callan Pinckney in the early 1980s. It is a system of exercise involving frequent repetition of small muscular movements and squeezes, designed to improve muscle tone.
Dawn at The Minimal Mom introduced me to The Bible Recap, a great reading plan to consider. I've surprised myself, been able to follow the plan, and am on track to read the Bible within a year.
I was watching this video while at work. I agree with taking time for self-care and do things that one enjoys. I start my morning at 5:30 with 17 ounces of water and read my bible for 15 minutes. That is my one constant that I will try and never change. Thanks for sharing!
I too was a homeschooling mom of 5 kids & bible first thing in the morning is what kept me sane, diligent & joyful in raising my children! Thank you for including this part of you in your video, it's so vital in today's world!! ♡
I began reading through the Bible when our children did due to a challenge made by a grandfather. I finished with them and have continued on every year since. I now use the Walk Thru the Bible’s Daily Walk reading plan - LOVE it as it adds focus, a simple background history, and application. Just 15 - 20 min a day. I’m reading through for my 32nd time and my life is shaped daily by this first thing habit. Blessings to you as you read it through for the first time!
Hi from the UK. The Daily Connoisseur and the Minimal Mom videos have given me such a lift and improved my quality of life no end, particularly in these last few months of lockdown. Keep them coming ladies.
I’ve been meaning to read the Bible and I think it’s a good idea to read it in the morning. I don’t have children but I take care of my niece and nephew almost everyday and it’s great to see your routine.
I struggle with following youtubers that film their kids. It just really bothers me. As soon as I see them I'm like whyyyyyyy 🤯 so thank you for respecting them. 💚
Jennifer you elegant beauty. Also How exciting that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have joined you on YT!!! What I would love to see is a collaboration with you and Catherine, Jennifer 💕 I love that you have shared your Bible study here - you are beautifully consistent. I struggle with consistency. Xx
I just heard an older woman say she has read the Bible through the year 21 times. She said she wished she had started sooner. She is in her 80s. Gave me so much perspective.
Couldn’t help it and watched this during my morning routine, after reading the Bible and before getting ready for work! Thank you, Jennifer! Loved this video. And you look so pretty! ❤️
This video inspired me to change out of the pants and top I planned on wearing for the day into my favorite blue dress 👗! Also, cream of wheat is so yummy and such a throwback breakfast treat. I’ll have to start incorporating it into my daily meals more often ☺️😋 thanks for the video Jennifer!
Omg Cream of Wheat! Yum! What a lovely reminder! It's been years since I had it but I love it. I have very fond memories of making a chocolate version for my baby brother many years ago. I will have to get some!
As someone who also aspires to start the day with Bible study and writing (fiction in my case), this is indeed motivating. Plus, I can’t get started without at least two cups of black coffee. I also absolutely applaud your decision not to show your kids. It’s good to see someone who respects their kids’ agency and privacy, and won’t exploit them for views.
I truly enjoy these collaborations you girls have with The Minimal Mom. And I must say...your videos are so calming. This one was very pleasant. I'm an older woman...76!! I've been reading through the Bible every year for almost 50 years now. I mix up the versions each year, but own about 10 Bibles...each different versions. I love a good study Bible, too. Since I am older, I'm an empty nester. Our 4 kids are all married and live all over the country...far from us. We have lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren. But I visit them as often as possible (except for this past year because of COVID). When I do, they always are sure to have an area especially for me to sit and do my devotions and drink a nice hot cup of coffee! They all remember times when we would go out of town and I'd be in the corner of our motel room, sometimes sitting on the carpet, with a flashlight, reading my Bible! Ha ha! Didn't want to wake anyone up. It has become a habit that has blessed me over and over. I'm going to have to watch some of your videos referring to intermittent fasting. I find that I do that without real planning. But I like your idea of adding the sea salt to water to replace electrolytes. And I am a HUGE Cream of Wheat fan. Thanks for taking this special time to share your morning routine. Enjoyed it so much.
I just finished reading the Bible in a year for 2020. I'm doing more specific devotionals this year, but I'm looking forward to doing it again in 2022. So worth it! I recommend it for anyone. God's Word is life changing!
Hi 🙋♀️. My routine is similar : my babies all have 4 legs. Watching Daily Connoisseur is often part of my morning routine to inspire me to get going. I also get inspiration from Inspired by Nikki and Diane from Denmark ( rah rah rah!). Although I will never me you in person I consider you a friend. Onward to the mid morning routine!
Thanks so much for listing the other two UA-cam Channels & have subscribed to both. I've already watched several of Diane's videos already. I love finding new UA-cam Channels to watch.
I loved getting a look at your morning routine Jennifer! Your yellow dress looks gorgeous on you, oh how I wish I could wear yellow. The glimpses of your flowers was a true delight🌹
I discovered your channel on a Tasha Tudor search, lol. I have been enjoying your videos and inspiration while loving reading your book, Lessons from Madame Chic. Many of the things you suggest to your audience, I had practiced when my 7 children were younger and I was homeschooling them all. We did not have youtube then, but we did have Victoria magazine; I discovered beauty in the small things like wearing pretty nightgowns and walking in a garden I learned to plant. I am glad you are here for the young ladies just starting out and for the more seasoned viewers, like myself. We always want to be learning and being inspired (as you said in one of your chic assignment videos that I watched).
This is the video I’ve been waiting for! I’m so glad to finally see your morning routine! I’ve really wondered how you get it all done. I love that you put off exercise until later. I’m going to make that tweak as well, because it makes much more sense to do it later with your children.
I think this is a great routine. I'm reading the Bible in a year as well. This will be my third time. Once you do it once, you'll always want to do it. ❤️ You'll ALWAYS find something you didn't see before. It's quite amazing. I'm currently writing my first book and have never really thought to work on it in the morning. I usually do it at night. Maybe I'll change my routine a bit and see if it works for me. Thank you so much for all your videos. ❤️
Previously I read it in chronological order in a year and I think I actually prefer that way. I don't like how choppy the readings are as they are broken up. But I will stick with that plan this year.
@@TheDailyConnoisseur Thank you to both of you for your insights. I’m thinking of reading it all in a year again this year, third time for me as well. The last times I read it in book order and feel like my understanding of the chronological events took a lot longer to grasp in that format. I appreciate your feedback on it. Have a blessed day!
So beautiful!! Love that you read your Bible every morning. I need to start back up on this. Started off strong at the beginning of the year and then got off track.
Jennifer, I just love your channel! It brings me so much calm and peace. I'm a long time follower of yours. I know I never comment but every time I watch your videos that's how I feel. Take care and God bless you and your cute little family 🤗❤
I love this video and I wish I had time to read all the pleasant comments today. I wish I had a friend just like you in my city! You helped me be more of my very best self this morning.
I’ve been doing IF for a few months now after seeing your videos, I have definitely noticed a difference! Just googled, and apparently the juice of 1/4 lemon in 8oz water doesn’t break the fast
Ahhhhhh! Nice on the nice! I, too, read the Bible first thing in the morning (and also at night...perfect bookends for a more peaceful day!). I'm a huge Cream of Wheat fan so you had me right there. I do love how serene the day appears (!) and I really appreciated your words about "the pleasures of the day that we look forward to and that anchor us in gratitude"...such wisdom there! I love your garden walkabout too...I'll be adopting that to my routine (assuming it's not snowing here in unpredictable Western NYS!). Thanks so much for this! Loved it!
Waking up early and taking time to oneself truly is a wonderful way to start the day. I used to get up to write before my family was up. I had to stop during pregnancy with my son and still can't get up early because he still doesn't sleep through the night even at almost one year old. I hope he'll eventually sleep better so I can be better rested and start getting up early again!
The dress is beautiful! Uggghh Jennifer I want to wake up so badly early...my goal is 5:30 when I go back to work, but I love sleep so much. But I know that is the best time for me to get my exercise done and to meditate and so I don’t feel rushed in the morning before driving into work....I don’t even have kids...I have no excuse!
I see the benefits of routines. I have a lot of free time. My fur babies share my home. I just want t9 bring order, calm and pleasure to my life. Wish me success
Thank you for sharing your routine. An easier Bible program is reading a one year Bible which includes Old Testament, New Testament, a Psalm and Proverb each day. I’ve used the Tyndale one year Bible NLT for 12 years. Just turn to today’s date and it is all laid out for you! It takes me 20 minutes to read and for several years I read it out loud to my kids. So great!
Oh how lovely 👍 Enjoyed watching your morning routine 💕 I too believe in the simple pleasures of life and drinking coffee or tea alone ( most times with my dog) is something I look forward to each morning. I have to establish a routine of reading in the mornings, at least a chapter. That’s my goal. I work outside and my morning routine preps me for the day and helps me to stay calm:)
This was very inspiring. I regret to admit that my mornings are not nearly as smooth and planned out as I’d like them to be. I’ve always struggled with mornings... You have given me some hope. Thank you for this, Jennifer! 💜
That dress looks amazing on you! I used to be a morning person and would naturally get up quite early. I still do because I have small children but I don't have a productive routine to set me up nicely for the rest of the day. Morning routines really are so important and it's a good reminder to find something that works for you and that is sustainable.
Thanks for sharing your morning routine. Always inspiring. My morning pleasures are reading my Bible with my first cup of coffee and then visiting with my husband over my second one. 🥰
Your routine was a wonderful confirmation of my own routine. I often think everyone else has it together except for me! But my morning routine and the things that I take pleasure in to start my day are not so different from yours and, I suspect, many others here. I was encouraged and refreshed by viewing this and took a few notes from your routine to tweak my own. ♥️
Lovely video Jennifer! I am a morning person and get up about 6am but I like quiet, slow mornings like yours with reading coffee and journaling before anyone else is awake. I also add some stretching or yoga before I start work. It is the best time of the day for me. I plan by more rigorous exercise for later in the day or evening.
I loved watching your morning routine Jennifer!! It’s so funny that you had cream of wheat for breakfast, because I also had cream of wheat for breakfast today with water, a few tablespoons of coconut cream, a few teaspoons of agave, and a tsp of vanilla! It was delicious!☺️ I’m about to go get ready for the day and put on a floral midi dress with a sweater - it’s a rainy chilly day today in Ohio. I hope you have a fantastic Monday!!💗
You are a girl after my own heart! Starting the day off with the Bible is such a good idea. I do this too. Coffee is my most favourite morning beverage and I love the smell of it in the morning too. Also, cream of wheat takes me back. I still make it from time to time. I love your videos❤️👍
Thank you for sharing. What a peaceful life. I've always written poems since I was very young and have started writing books I'm just not sure how to get started. I could only Hope I could have such peace during my writing time
I just wanted to say how lovely you are! You've inspired me to Intermittent Fast myself to regain my youthful silhouette. I'm on week 3 and feel fantastic!
I am so glad you did this video and that part of the Chic Assignment is about working on your morning routine. I am always struggling with my morning routine because when I first wake up, it feels like there are about 10 things that immediately need to be done and I am constantly trying to find the best and most efficient order to do them in. I love seeing how other women manage it. It's very inspiring. And I think getting your morning right is the most important thing to figure out. It sets up your whole day. Thank you!
Thank you Jennifer, the beauty of the morning is something I have always enjoyed....of course watching my favorite videos while getting dressed for the day is an uplifting part of my morning...oh, just wanted to thank you for the new 10 item wardrobe class..watched it yesterday afternoon...loved it!!!!🤩😍💯
Love your video, but I do have one tip: if you want an electric coffee pot rather than the really expensive espresso ones, get one with a thermos rather than the glass pot. It doesn't burn, and you save electricity, (which amounts to a lot over the course of a year!). I see you've got a Mr. Coffee - they make a thermos-pot too. Thanks for everything!
Hi Jennifer, Beautiful way to start our work week! This new chemise is fabulous-just what I’ve been looking for recently. This picture behind you with the copper tea pot is lovely; is it new? Aren’t the 10x magnifying mirrors fabulous? Just put new bulbs in mine and wow!
Such an inspiring video! Grateful to see the Bible is the first part of your day!
Yes!! We’ve been waiting for this one! 💕👏🏾
Thank you, Jordan
I love this video and I wish I had time to read all the pleasant comments today. I wish I had a friend just like you in my city! You helped me be more of my very best self this morning.
I love your entire morning routine. I especially love that you read your Bible every morning. You are such an inspiration! Have a blessed day. ❤
The rocks you’ve added to the garden look beautiful.
You were the only one who noticed :)
I’ve been doing IF for a few months now after seeing your videos, I have definitely noticed a difference! Just googled, and apparently the juice of 1/4 lemon in 8oz water doesn’t break the fast
That yellow dress looks so pretty on you! Thanks for another inspiring video!
Loved seeing your morning routine. Appreciate you showing the bible. ❤👏❤
I love ❤️ your channel and love that you show your faith 🙏🏾!!!!!! Very refreshing and realistic.
So great!
I start the day with the Bible as well. Your yellow dress is lovely 🌼. Great advice.
Oh how lovely 👍 Enjoyed watching your morning routine 💕
I too believe in the simple pleasures of life and drinking coffee or tea alone ( most times with my dog) is something I look forward to each morning.
Aww this is exactly what I needed to watch while folding laundry this morning. Thank you!!
I sometimes crave Cream of Wheat as well! The ultimate comfort food!
This video is so relaxing. I’m going to watch again. 😀
Thanks for sharing your morning routine. Always inspiring. My morning pleasures are reading my Bible with my first cup of coffee and then visiting with my husband over my second one. 🥰
Thank you so much, Kay! Much love xx
This was just lovely. I appreciate so much the purposeful way you approach everything.
Cream of Wheat! I love it! I hope you enjoyed it! Wonderful video, thank you for sharing.
I love this. Jennifer! You should share your night time routine as well. :)
Another beautiful video Jennifer.
You are enchanting! I love watching your videos and the encouraging words you give.
Thank you, Ellie!
Hello Mrs. Scott, I enjoyed watching our video. Thank you for sharing.
Love that yellow dress! 🥰
I could only Hope I could have such peace during my writing time
Lovely video! And when you poured the Cream of Wheat I kinda squealed with delight 😊 It’s a nostalgic breakfast for me, as well.
Loved the expression "magic superpowers", it is really so!
I just wanted to say how lovely you are! You've inspired me to Intermittent Fast myself to regain my youthful silhouette. I'm on week 3 and feel fantastic!
I love starting my morning with coffee and devotions too. Beautiful routine.
Fun to see you in this updated routine! You look so cozy and happy with your coffee and computer. My routine is very similar.
This video came out just at the perfect moment for me. Thank you.
Thank you!
Thank you Jennifer, the beauty of the morning is something I have always enjoyed....of course watching my favorite videos while getting dressed for the day is an uplifting part of my morning...oh, just wanted to thank you for the new 10 item wardrobe class..watched it yesterday afternoon...loved it!!!!🤩😍💯
Awesome, Linda! Thank you!
Morning coffee is my favorite time of the day!
I love how you shared so many other women's morning routines too ❤️
You are such an inspiration!!
I just started watching your videos, and as a SAHM, I can see that they could be very helpful. Thank you.
You are such a wonderful example to me. 💖 Thank you very much. I really needed this. Bless you!!! 💖💖💖
Hi Jennifer, I enjoyed your video very much. Thank you for taking the time and all the effort to post it. Have a lovely day. xo, Karen
Great video! Very inspiring! Will we get to see any new episodes of "The Clueless Gardeners" this Spring? I hope so! Thank you for all you do.
I appreciate that it is very personal but I would love to hear you talk about your faith in a new video xxx
Amen to starting your day immersing yourself in God's Word🙏❤
Hi Jennifer, Beautiful way to start our work week! This new chemise is fabulous-just what I’ve been looking for recently. This picture behind you with the copper tea pot is lovely; is it new? Aren’t the 10x magnifying mirrors fabulous? Just put new bulbs in mine and wow! Now I can really see everything I’ve been missing. ☺️ All the best, Julie 🌷 (just back from the tulip festival in Holland, Mi) #bliss
I live on the east side of the state and have always wanted to go to the festival. With the things the way they are, were there still parades and dances and music?
@@jred1838 We went Tuesday before it started; tulips were at their peak and it was sunny n 80 degrees. Online schedules are available.
What a perfect video.
I needed this. After having my daughter it’s been a ‘chore’ to find time for myself.
Please do a video on your exercise routine.
