I just got the ultra 2 I love it
That’s awesome! I would to try the ultra at some point
link of the garmin watch strap please?
This is what I do, the Ultron one wrist and the fenix six pro solar on the other 😂😂😂
Nice review. But could you compare their pace/distance/time accuracy?
I wear both for running for about a month to compare the data.
The overall data, including pace, heart rate, cadence, and GPS, were mostly similar. However, the Apple Watch consistently recorded a slightly shorter distance of around 10 to 50 meters compared to the Garmin. Additionally, there was a significant difference in total calories burned. During my 8km run, the Garmin recorded 600 calories burned while the Apple Watch recorded 707 calories burned.
@@SuparjitoTeo Thank you!
Loved this content. Absolutely agree Apple looks great for sure but if you’re not a techy person then Garmin may be more reasonable. I also doubt the 18 hours claim of Apple. How long have you had the Garmin watch btw and does the battery life gradually wear out?
Thanks for watching! I’ve had it for about 3 months and so I haven’t noticed any decay of the battery, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets worse over time.
Sorta related but have you tried the Oura ring? I use it because it’s best for sleep tracking and I use Apple Watch for fitness but yes the battery can be problem on the watch.
I understand that your AW SE is a cellular model and you are using it in your marathon leaving the phone back at home. Which is essentially draining its battery even more than it should while it’s used in proximity to your phone. If that is the case, then this review would be misleading.
If you want your SE to last the run, try grabbing a GPS version and test. It would then be a closer comparison.
Yes this is exactly why I bought the cellular model so I wouldn’t have to bring my phone 😊now sure how this is misleading? Just sharing my experience that the battery doesn’t last if you plan to use it like this!
@@Indranil.S I probably won’t buy another Apple Watch just to test this out, but I definitely believe using less functionality will help it last longer!
@@MissSarahEK The point I was trying to make was SE is draining extra battery for using LTE connectivity, while the Garmin is only GPS I guess. If you turn the LTE off your SE has a chance to last the run. Then it will be a fair comparison between the two and don't have to run with two watches 🙂
Gotcha, yeah but then I wouldn’t have access to calling or music or anything which are the major selling points of the Apple Watch and what differentiates it from Garmin. I totally agree it would be a more fair comparison for battery life alone if I didn’t use any of these features of the Apple Watch, but then I wouldn’t be a realistic comparison for how I actually use them with the Apple Watch offering. If someone buys the Apple Watch for the and then realizes they can’t use any of the features without the battery dying I’m sure they would be disappointed. Totally agree this isn’t a clean experiment for just comparing battery life though.
Aint no way you payed 350 for a SE, I got a S9 for 300$ this black friday
Nice! It was a few years ago so the prices may have changed..
