No ones talking about how insanely good these videos are getting, props to you man I can see how much effort you're putting into them! Also someone already said it but I CANNOT thank you enough for explaining why something works the way it does, it helps so much and makes everything a lot easier to understand! Keep up the awesome work.
A lovely tutorial, I've been struggling on how to create the nose and the eyes. In this video you made it sound simple and understandable 😊, I'll try it out ...... Thank you ❤❤
Really cool sculpt as always, seeing you sculpt something like adult gon from Hunter x Hunter would be really cool, and a good way to show of the extremes of your line technique.
Awesome tutorial. Instead of duplicating the meshes you can add a solidify modifier with a material where you apply all the things you mentioned in your tutorial (backface culling, inverted etc. )
finally a new yansculpts video, I can finally stop telling my kid to think and punch him repeatedly (also, @Noggi_3D did a similar process to make 3d look like 2d)
Great piece of art! I love your works and videos, but there is one thing that was a bit disturbing during the video - outline is much easier to achieve with solidify modifier with “flip” enabled - saves time and scene polycount. But, it’s your workflow, you’re doing great art so you can do it as you prefer ;) cheers!
@@yansculpts it’s not necessary, you need to add solidify modifier to the mesh, enable flip normals in the modifier tab, add some thickness and add new material with pure black rename it as an outline (don’t know if it’s necessary), tweak couple values to get the right result and we’re done ;) I have old laptop so have to count each vert xD
Hey man! I see you modelling on pc and use a mac....ever tried 3d modelling with your mac? Just curious...whether it will hold up or not...maybe a video using your macbook as your computer? Amazing video and sculpt as always!!
I love the way you explain it, my grandmother recently gifted me an huion Tablet but, I do have a question, what do you use? I mean what computer or PC do you use?…
Man you make this look easy! Out of curiosity, what are your system specs? Because when I use Blender with a 2060 and 16gb of ram, it starts to choke and sometimes crash after about 2 million polygons. Basically becoming unbearable to use. I haven't been able to find a solid source for system requirements for high poly counts in Blender anywhere.
Amazing video i really like these style of content the most. 😅just wanna ask what you are doing for a living like do you work for a 3d animation company or a game design company or any else thats not related to 3d
@@yansculpts 😄thank you I am just on my last year of a 3D animations and game design student in south africa and just wonder how most people got their foot in the door so I can maybe have some guide lines but thank you for replying so far to everyone of my comments i really appreciate it
im having troubles with the mouth, what tools did you use to draw it and what settings did u use for the brush and are you pressing shift or anything while grabbing the mouth?
explaining how to sculpt in message is not simple, plus I don't use any specific brushes to do any specific part. You can use most brushes to create the same thing. Also masking can help with the mouth if you have a hard to working upper and lower lips together
Great video but please we dont need a drawing sound effect on every brush grab and tiny input prompt, its cool the editing but way to many drawing sound effects
Weird statement! Like asking why sculpt, why do art with coffee, why use pen instead of pencil, these are all just tools to express your art, you might not like it but others prefer it, it is all about perspective.
i love that you explain WHY you put things where you do. most tutorials just tell you to do it but not why. its super helpful to know the reasoning.
Glad you enjoy it! I was afraid it was too much but nice to see it helps!
I think the same, I only learn if I know why of something , if I don't know why I don't know anything.

@@yansculpts man keep explaining things like that

I never thought of using heads to sculpt the other parts of the body. That's brilliant!

You simplify forms so easily. It's very well explained.👌

Did you try it? Someone else mentioned it i explained why it might cause issues but it might be a brilliant idea, i will have to try it
Used it a couple of times without a problem

I love your videos and try to learn sculpting but I don’t have a drawing tablet. Which one do you recommend? What is the name of your tablet?
huoin has a wide range of prices, i recommend their stuff, you don't need one with a screen!
why not use solidify modifier for outlines wouldn't it be faster and easier to adjust?
I will have to try it, but adding a solidify modifier to a high poly super unclean topo might crash blender, thanks for the tip will see!
Also problem is now you will have thickness, hence two sides, and that will probably cause issues with this technique, again i have to give it a go
A great vid

love the video :) can final result be exported to some other app, for rigging, animating or rendering?
Yup it can

Hi! Are you working only on Mac? And thx for u tutorials!
nope this is windows but you can
omiman without his stache is just homelander
🤣 true
Bro, how are you?
So, can you tell me how do you do to navegate with pen on your pen tablet? I mean, turn the camera etc. You do it so easily.
Look up the option emulate 3 button mouse on blebder
I set it up on kamvas software. Emulate 3 button mouse is annoying. Thanks dude!
wihtout mustache is just old homelander
haha!
when i up the polly count to 0.01 it freezes my pc is it just an issue with not having the best pc or is there a work around ?
Dono I can do that, u have a potato pc or something in ur scene is fishy hard to tell, but u don’t need the best pc for that no

which device do you recommend for sculpt begineers plz answer?
huoin, one without screen

When do detail face you use dynotop?
i don't focus on numbers, i just add more details when needed, and keep it as low as possible

i got some on my channel, older sculpts
Omniman suspiciously looking a lot like J. Jonah Jameson from Spiderman.
haha!
Can someone please tell me how his material preview color look so nice i tried it but mine look ehh?
the look of you sculpt in material view depends on many things (the sculpt's form, the color and material, the lighting/hdri)
No one understand the "lets break it down" refrence "let me break it down for you mark"

Why don't you make a video Sculpting on nomas sculpt?
Maybe one day, I haven’t had the chance
Te sigo amigo tiene un curso en español veo que en su tienda tiene curso en ingles
Sorry to say I don’t, I haven’t learned to speak Spanish :(
Can you tell what software you use and is it available on android?
Blender and nope
Look up nomad though
Is that laptop?
