I still say Haachama is a bit cuter when she speaks English, but that's mostly because her entire voice changes too, whereas Korone is consistant

I just noticed Korosan has fangs because normally they just blend into her other teeth. I mean it should be obvious given the whole doggo thing but evidently I am blind.
Her fangs are usually behind her weird upper lip flaps.
Depending on the expression setting on the avatar, they sometimes turn into lipfangs, which can be harder to read when combined with the cat mouth.
I love that Cali talks to koro like she's talking to a 3 year old
I mean, her English is around that level. Korone did the same when Calli was speaking Japanese.
When speaking English to non-native speakers, Calli speaks slowly, uses plain language, and enunciates clearly. A great example of this is her English teaching streams.
I suspect, from things she's mentioned since debut, that her day job before vtubing (aka 'scythe swinging lessons') was teaching English to Japanese children.
@@Fireholder1 it's also interesting how she seems to occasionally map English words onto Japanese sentence structure and use prepositions and constructions that don't actually make sense in English, but which sound a lot like common errors east Asian people learning English frequently make. She's clearly got a lot of insight on how people's cognition can be shaped by the way they learn to express themselves, and she puts in a deliberate effort to accommodate those differences.
