- After one and a half year in the making, I finally finished this project. The SFXs from DaphDafDave and the scores from Daryl Barnes really made this video better in every way, I was so lucky to be able to work together with them.
I hope you will enjoy the video as much as we did!

@@ClimFreeFeelRain Ame and hololive announced that she will stop streaming, but I think that she might appear as a "guest" in some streams and/or projects of the other girls. So it at least seems to be a decision that was made in good terms.

Bro, ame is in a perpetual loop of suicide for her friends and she doesn't even think about it just does it. Really loved how her time travel worked here and all the Ames that exist due to her ability she really has a unique reason for being part of the myth group!
Definitely feels like something the Doctor would do, too, if he couldn't sonic his way out of the problem.

When a 12 minute fan made vid does a better wrapping of a story rather than 12 episode anime that leaves you in a cliffhanger is so satisfying.
I'm thinking that if this ever has one, if it gets a chance, we will see the beginning before Ina turns into the dark side, their fun times together, how they met, and then the climax is Ina turning to the dark side, Ame proposes an idea to save her and the world, so the Myth had to fight Ina to give Ame some time to prepare her time travel to take place, and then Ame went on this multiversal adventure, not just meeting Smol Ame, Watoto, Amebee, probably Buff Ame, and others more but also to get to know them, asking their help to save her universe, ask them what she needs to do to save her, until the final episode where she entered the theater, she saw the other dead Ames with the film in their hands, and there's a recording, not only a minute or so recording but hours of recording, looking for a way to save her universe, saving Ame, until coming to a conclusion to rewind the time, creating another parallel universe. With no choice left, Ame did the same thing, pulling the film out, resetting the time just like what the other dead Ames did because she believe that if she's Ame like the rest, she will always do the same thing.

@@grinnazeed The other thing to keep in mind and unless this has changed since I didn't watch Ame much since she didn't interest me as much as the other Myth girls. However she said in one of her earlier streams that her power is that she rewinds time and travels through the multiversa to solve her crimes once she has crossed through every possibility in order to be at the time and place to solve her crimes, she still has to figure out why she was brought to a place and how to solve everything but that was how she explained her power so that theater is the key to possibly fixing everything somehow.

@@grinnazeed Cool, have fun with that I was just more or less sharing an interesting tidbit that I knew about Ame's power and why she was part of the myth crew if you want to do your own thing though I'm not going to stop you. Also I know how those words can come across when you're just reading them so to be clear I'm actually giving you well wishes with whatever your brain cooks up and not being passive aggressive.
While the voice record was telling every Amelia not to rewind that thing, the fact that this one reached this 'end' means whichever Amelia recorded it decided to reset the timeline anyway. Really love the story.
And even after listening to the recording and being able to see the consequences and of all the times she's rewound time before and what is about to happen to her.. Ame still doesn't give up! Gotta love just how it shows off her willpower. AMEWAY IS BEST WAY

I've known Mazumaro since 2014. No, not as a friend, I don't have that honor. His artist name was Zero then, and he drew a manga called "Action". It's a short comic, about 10 chapters, with a ton of silly jokes - the kind that would make you nearly die of laughter if you were a 14 year old (unfortunately, a lot of these jokes might make no sense to you if you're not Vietnamese). The story then gradually got serious from around chapter 7 and became completely serious at the end with - you guess what - time travel and stuff. I was completely impressed and have been following his work ever since. In 2019, I became an amateur artist and once again Zero, now his name is Mazumaro, absolutely impressed me when I saw his Pixiv page. Then we have his KnY animation that the UFO-FCKNG-TABLE themselves emailed him to give a praise. And now we have this. It was a surreal experience watching him go from sketchy-drawing comics to this masterpiece, especially when I can see the vibe of his old works here.
I guess you won't see this out of 6000+ comments, but if you do, Mazumaro, you are my greatest idol.

A little piece of symbolism I dont think anyone else noted, but when it says "On September 13 2022 the world was wiped out" I believe that September 13 was when HoloMyth debuted, so when our ame eventually succeeded reality changed and they debuted. A cool little detail that makes this animation even better

I love how right before she plays the recording it shows Holocouncils signs with Sana’s glitching due to her graduation. This is so good too, without voice acting you can tell what it’s supposed to sound and hear each of the girls voices. I love this so much

The most heartfelt and bittersweet moment was Ame's insistence that she'd do everything over and over again just to hope for the day that they all will have their good ending. The look on her face before tumbling down the stairs makes me tear up, as it gives way for the new Ame's to step on forward and change what seems to be the inevitable. It's the love, the dedication, and most importantly the acceptance of her sad situation, that in her last breath, she paved the way for the next Ame to step forward in hopes that no Ame will ever step foot into that room again.

I bet if she tried to use a deeper voice with autotune she could pull it off
I bet it would take the girls longer to get each of the personas they had in the video. Kiara would try to add lines, Gura and Calli would likely be the best of them, Ame will have the second hardest job having to use a recording type of voice, and Ina would have a hard time trying to come up with the perfect "evil Ina" voice.
So Ame kept restarting the universe until it ends in our current timeline, where all the Myth girls are safe and happy as streamers under Hololive's brand. In other words, we're living in the good ending. You're a genius.
Ame kept restartin not losin hope which gave birth to Irys, as hope incarnate decended(we actually see her in last few frame in this video).
Headcanon: Irys MV descending into a destroyed world to then Gura animation shark'd where she whisper something into past timeline Gura's ear nudgin her toward good endin we have now.

@@Dysanii My main guess is simply due to the fact that Sana is here anymore, meaning she’s absent as the guardian of space, hence the glitching

While Ame's original task was to harness the other four due to their world ending powers, the mind-bending ending where Ame herself is the one that destroys everything just for the sake of her friends, as a mere human no less, will lock this Bad Ending as a true masterpiece for the Holo community. Thank you Mazu not just for your talent but also your genius in manifesting the world that could've been, but that we in the "good ending" can appreciate while still enjoying the girls that have brought us so much entertainment and love through what have truly been difficult years across the globe.
Honestly after all of this time I thought Ame was summoning Kronii.

A detail I really, really like - before the entity lets go of Ina, she has the aspects of her appearance that seem a little abnormal - the hair tentacles and ear flaps. But once the entity lets her go - they're gone. She's completely human, and it's abandoned her completely...it's a small thing, but I can't help but love it. So many tiny things like that in this animation.
And when the symbols of the council is shown,the saturn (representation of space) is glitchy

It's always been my headcanon that while Gura doesn't have as much mystical mojo as Kiara, Callie or Ina, she is the strongest Holomyth member in terms of pure physical power. That would make sense since her lore implies she's actually an old-school Greek Mythology-style demigoddess.
Love that idea. While she has no fancy tricks, she can just snap you in half as simple as it sounds.

A lot of that has to do with her bearing the Trident of Poseidon. If you know your Lovecraft, you know why that particular detail is SO important for the lore of Myth.
DC comics style - Superman is strong when compared to other superheroes, but he ain't got shit on the old gods.
That little detail where Sana's sigil is glitching compared to the others is both heartbreaking and nice

My head canon is that our Ame has gotten past this bad ending and that's why she keeps singing September at karaoke to celebrate her victory.
It is here that I am both relieved I don't need to look up what significance "September 22, 2022" would have, and _groan with the force of thirteen billion years_ that this is the answer.
I view it differently, "Our" Ame is the byproduct of the Ame from the last timeline... The last Ame managed to fix everything but had to sacrifice herself for us to get us to the "Good Ending" which is the one where we are now... That's why, "Our" Ame has no recollection of the whole thing...

Yeah and the way it was orchestrated really gave me similar vibes of the Flash going back in time from the snyder cut
Ngl, although the orchestral was epic as heck. It sounded like it would fit an ending skit of an action-comedy movie.
Like, the conclusion would be, "after all of this confusing adventure ame has gone through in her journey, she had finally achieved ame-fying the universe."

The glitchy saturn icon referencing Sana....... One of the most heavy hitting details that made me tear up. This animation is amazing and this deserves to hit a million views and more. As of this comment, it has 948,945 views.

Oh my goodness. The timer on the video in the room with the projector shows approximately 13.78 billion years in hourly equivalent. For those who are not in the subject - this is the approximate age of our Universe. I love these little details. I have also been following this animation since its inception. Words simply cannot express how happy I am to live at the same era with an author like Mazumaro. If I were the son of an Arab sheikh, I would have already invited him to be the lead animator in my new studio. And the first thing we would do is just this full anime series. But I'm just poor man of culture, so I can offer only my words of gratitude!

As great as the animation is, I believe the music also deserves some praise. The way they seamlessly integrated each characters songs while maintaining an intense yet somber tone throughout is amazing. And of course Ame's BGM being made a triumphant and hopeful tune is nothing short of incredible.
I’m glad someone else was listening to the soundtrack as intently! I was like “no way the orchestration for the characters is on point!!”
Alll the call backs to the girl´s music was just wonderful!!!

They even had a little easter egg with Dr Who music right where Ame goes to "The Beggining"
I love that very ending scene and how it connects to what Ame did just before. Instead of giving up and quitting, she decided to retry, even though it meant dying herself. In that very last screen, it lingers on ‘quit’, but in the end chooses ‘retry’ one more time. It’s a bittersweet ending: Ame choses to reset the universe at the cost of her own life just for the chance for her friends to live again. And maybe this time they’ll find a way out, or maybe they won’t. But taking that chance and trying again is better than giving up.

I remember some of them talking about wanting to voice it too, wonder if cover corp was against it - stuff can get complicated.
@@nyaqua stuff can get complicated is exactly right. Not only does it mean bringing a corp into this that has to approve EVERYTHING but also 5 more people to coordinate with. Many underestimate how much work voice acting and editing something like this really is. They think it is a 5 minute one and done thing
it did always seem to be a "maybe one day, once it's finished" thing. now all we can do is communicate as much as we can to Cover that it's what we want as fans, especially if the 5 of them are on board with it.

"i see, you are ME after all" she knows that no matter what the consequences are, she's willing to gave up her life. not even her can stop her, this really made me tear up. after watching the official halowEN animation and then watch your animation, Myth really shows how lonely ame is and how both of you potrayed that ame truly loves her friends so much. truly a masterpiece!

Ame did wonderful thing with her VR chat innovation and bring them together. For that, I respect her. No wonder some of the fan-made videos/mangas show her as the one who create the HoloMyth.
I really liked that end. Even though she herself says she should give up, Ame would never accept that ending and would easily give up her life for another chance of a happy ending-as the other Ames have also done.

i like to believe that now that Amelia is sorta-graduating she has managed to figure out how to break the cycle (probably through holoCouncil), and is now in the theater monitoring the new timeline from now onwards. Thus she cannot exist along with the other girls but can continue to safeguard the new timeline, quietly watching from backstage.

After hearing about Ame's story of taking care of someone important all her life, this ending feels extremely in-character for the person who plays Amelia Watson. Taking that tape, even knowing she can't save her world and knowing it will kill her, that's a choice the real human behind Ame's avatar would make.

I felt it when she said "what do I do" at the end of the short, Ame once said that she has lost her purpose after the person she's taken care of had passed away, this is like a repeat of that.
Ive seen a lot of this since I've been watching the updates... but I was NOT ready for Ina turning and telling Gura she was sorry. Hit me like a ton of bricks and I'm sitting here sobbing a crying mess. You've made a masterpiece here Mazu, and I hope something good comes to you because of it.

Well, of the things Ame said she could come back for. Voice over stuff seemed to be confirmed right out the gate. Ame mentioned it a couple of times.

When Ame reaches the theater, I can count at least 6 dead Ame's already on the floor, making our Ame the 7th to have reached this room. It's incredible to imagine that based on the voice recording that every single one of those Ame's came from a different timeline where they had their OWN misfortune and reason to get to "The End". It might not have been a re-do of Myth vs Ina, but even a Myth vs Calli, a Myth vs Gura, or even a Myth vs Council timeline. And for the First Ame that arrived there, without seeing dead bodies, without having additional clues, and time standing still, how long would she have been in there alone trying to figuring out what to do? What dark logic did she have to process that led to leaving the voice recording? How long did it take her to realize her options and to then make her Final choice? It's just so interesting how Mazu presented his vision, where literally the infinite possibilities are both present and left unsaid, leaving us the audience to imagine for ourselves what other dark trials the Myth girls endured that allowed Their Ame to escape, and how every single one of those Ame's made the same singular, self-sacrificial choice to Retry. Thank you again Mazu and team for this work of art. I've rewatched it several times already just because of how truly amazing it is.
Or perhaps the first Ame to reach there was told its the end by someone else. Maybe a certain time warden was there.
I think that the first Ame wasnt the one who left the record, since she didnt know that she would restart the Universe as she pulled the film. Maybe even Council Wardens as we know were chosen by any of the Ames that sacrificed themselves

"I see, you are ME after all." At first I didn't get it until I think about who left the note. The only one who is able to leave a voice note would be Ame from the previous iteration, after she left the note, she went and did again it anyways. Beautiful.
Any of the previous Ame's seen on the stairs counld've left it, but regardless of which one it was they too had to disregard their own message because otherwise all Ames' after wouldn't have been there, including the one we see listening to the message.
Yeah, I think the whole point is that Ame realised that she'd do it again every time in every incarnation even if she herself pointed out that it was impossible.
Yeah I think she realized the fact that she won't even reach that point if the past Ames stopped. So despite acknowledging how impossible it is, she fully knows she will disregard that and continue finding a good end.

If I'm not mistaken, according to lore, Ina is the human priestess and vessel for the eldritch being/god which is Ao-chan (confined/imprison in the floating book), so this is what happens when Ao-chan escaped/unleashed, thus possessing/occupied Ina's body

I remember seeing this in the early stages and was already blown away, now the whole plot of Ame travelling through the multiverse in order to prevent this "bad end" over and over again, all in order to find that one "good ending", no matter how many time it takes, as indicated by all her past iterations who attempted to rewind the inevitable, everything is simply Ame-zing.
So ame is kinda like doctor strange.

I love your depiction of Gura here. She's not a cosmic entity and she's nowhere near the raw power of Calli or Kiara, but she will *just. keep. going.* no matter what.
And Watson, as well. Despite hearing the recording of her other self and having the evidence right in front of her that it won't work...she resets the world anyway, because she believes it could be better next time. So little dialogue, yet such a strong character moment!
Gura represent the Willpower of a predator.
The urge to keep fighting till you die and hunt your prey. That what make her so strong and a threat the the Aciencents ones. So much they actively use more power to contain and kill Gura.
And honestly, with all the evidence Watson seen, she know that the message is there mostly put of formality since she know she would do a million times over till she get what she want. Just a reminder of what she doing and the end result would be. That beautiful way to end a story.
But if ever Watson pulled it, rewound and reset the universe, which Watson made the recording?

I, in this moment, would like to think it is Kronii. She has the skills to pull off Watson's voice. Then she records a message she hopes will convince Watson to back off ever so slightly. But again and again, Watson after Watson, battle after battle, universe after universe, she resets Time.
"Another Kiara. Another Calli. Another Gura. Another Ina." (But not another Watson, I just realized.) So that's why Kronii wants the watch back, cause every Time she does it again, it is more work for the Warden.

The technology reminded me of Everything, Everywhere, All at Once travel. Especially with the slingshot (or in this case connect the dots). Then the whole travel through universes scene was def a much better version of Multiverse of Madness. I love it!

With it specifically ending with "World Administration is never an easy task"
Now it can be that they've tried to help the time line by giving Ame the watch (time) and even having Kiara/Callie/Gura to watch over Ina or even that Ame is stopping an end that's suppose to happen but this is route I imagined it take"

@Kho Thịt I saw a comment here like a day ago but it was about when the recording was mentioning another universe with "another Calli, Kiara, Gura, and Ina." With Ame being there listening to the recording it means everyone is gone. In "another universe" everyone will still be alive so ofc she's gonna try mess with the tape even though she knows the outcome. She'll 100% give her life to try and reset it and hope that the new universe she just created can find a way to stop it. It's just what I think though...

I mean, the entire video is: Ina stopping the Elder One from killing Gura and Ame discovering the corpses of her previous selves is fantastic, but that twist at the end, perfectly portrayed by the trailer too, is something out of this world.

It was made for the original five members of Hololive English, online streamers who work from behind a virtual avatar.
The reaper Calli has been signed by Universal Music, the atlantean Gura is an all-around entertainer known for her humor and singing, the phoenix Kiara is their international collaborator, detective Amelia spearheaded a lot of tools and 3D assets that they use for events, and the final boss Ina is actually a very comfy professional illustrator currently on hiatus after moving. The five symbols at the top of the screen near the end are from the second generation of Hololive EN, and the butterfly symbol above the Earth represents another member Irys who is between generations. It is a very carefully detailed fan work.
Other major fan animations include 2Snacks' rendition of Gura's "Lightning McQueen" prank call, and "Detective Diaries Part 1" from Crash Landing studios.
Recent official animations include Gura's "Shark'd" video and the HoloweEN three-part narrated comic special.
The JP side has a running series of short comedies with english subs. Member "Marine" recently put up a mini-concert which peaked at 170K live viewers.
Looking at all of this from a distance, it is absolutely amazing what 2020 did to give so many online performers the chance to finally be recognized.

@@hakimee_ I think the Ame that recorded the voice note wasn't the first Ame, but one of the later iterations who got there, saw the dead Ame's and realized that there was no positive outcome able to be had and recorded the note (in hopes that another Ame to come would hear her message and just unfreeze time, allowing the world to continue on rather than trying to rewind since nothing could be done to save the others) before also yanking the film from the projector and dying in the process... it's a Groundhog's Day loop...
As the only human in the myth, Ame tried to protect everyone at the expense of herself in every single timeline.
It seems that Ame adopt a new strategy in this timeline.
9/30 is not the end, but the beginning of the next story.
This made me learn that Amelia herself as a character makes every fanfiction canon, every animation or comic or art or story on hololive and holostars

I agree but keep in mind this project was being made over the course of I think like a year because I remember seeing the creator post like 15 seconds of new fight footage at a time over the course of months, I think this creator acting as a director on a bigger team doing something for Hololive would be just as awesome.

I think everyone noticed Sana's symbol glitching. But that's not just a meta reference, remember Sana also had connections to The Ancient Ones, so her glitching could also mean something terrible happened to her.
I heard that Sana graduated so maybe it's because of that.
Probably that, the council did something to aid Ame or made that theatre space possible, but because Sana is related to The Ancient Ones, which mighy have caused a terrible consequence for her thus the glitching and her graduating

Okay kind of a small thing, but I love how Gura enters her berzerk mode the same way Dante enters his Sin Devil Trigger, and with the weapon being absorbed too. Don't know if intentional or not, but damn does this add to her being a third-rate demon hunter.

The music DESERVES MORE ATTENTION. The animation is incredible but hearing Ame's BGM swell during her sacrifice brought chills down to my soul.
After rewatching so many times, I realized that the only record, the one piece of proof that the rewound timelines existed at all would be the tapes burned into the hands of Ame's corpses. And that significance really multiplies the bittersweet feeling of it all. Thanks so much for working hard this past year and a half~
The music arrangement made this even more epic. When each of the girls fought and their songs came on. Chills. Especially when Kiara came to help Calli and Hintori played then Gura with Reflect. Goosebumps. Fan Animation god tier hall of fame for sure as another commentor mentioned. Well done. I hope more to come. Love the Easter eggs too.

I absolutely adored that this wasn’t just a compilation of fun action scenes. The story and subtle messaging was absolutely beautiful too!
As one out of thousands of Amebeliever during her struggle to get to the sun station using a mouse and keyboard, I believe that Ame will find a way to get a good ending. This whole masterpiece gave me goosebumps just like when Ame attempted the sun station, especially at 9:56. And I never thought I'd feel this way ever again. I was wrong

The music, the animation, the sounds the story and the references. This is by far one the best hololive fan animation to ever exist period. The fact that you spent a year and a half making this shows us the amount of love you have for these girls. The community is blessed with talented people like you and i'm glad to be a part of it. Hopefully this inspires those with the skills to make more fan content like this. Many people will learn from you.
