I can't find a release date for this film but it was in the 1970s and I love this type of film from this period. I've never seen this one before and it ticked the right boxes for me. Jack Palance in his most diabolical role messing with dark forces. It's my belief that if you mess with them they'll surely mess with you.

Jack P is great in every role. There is another seventies horror movie he is excellent in about an alien killing people in a small town in California that co stars Matin Landau. Called Night something I believe, both turn in an A+ performance

No, rings around the neck were worn, by a former Burmese hill tribe. They were evicted from Myanmar to an area to the east, just, inside the Chinese border. Because if this their culture has been almost completely destroyed. They were evicted by the military junta, whom keep a few in a "designed" village, for the tourists, but, at the end of a days begging, which they're reduced to, they remove the brass rings!!!
