Bette is my First Cousin (once removed) on both sides of my family. (my great Great Grandmother is her GrandMother, same with my Great Grandfather...), I have collected over 100 of her movies, but I never seen this one!
I have always been team. Betty Davis. I just stopped watching a movie of Joan Crawford's after 15 minutes. Decided it was not what I was wanting to watch and then I saw this. Betty Davis movie! How exciting for you to share your relation to Betty Davis... 😎
"First Cousin (once removed) on both sides of my family. ..," My head hurts just trying to visualize that. Davis was amazing I loved her acting and spunk.
Such a nice, clear picture! This film looks as though it was shot just yesterday, in fact! One of the few Bette Davis movies of the seventies that I hadn't seen. She's always a treat to watch no matter what character roles she chose for herself. Would have loved to have sat and chatted w/Miss Davis over a cup of coffee and yes, a cigarette! 🎎
Those were the days of simple stories brought to us without all that much fanfare... get to the point under a certain amount of screen time. Doesn't waste your time or imagination. Bette's acting was so done so nonchalantly, so easily and no one could tell her she had to do better! Thanks.
Bette is my favorite actress of all time. She looks stunning here. I love the concept and the vibe and I want to love this film so much but unfortunately the sound effects are so piercing it makes it difficult for me to watch.
First time seeing dis movie and I don't no how I could have missed it especially when Betty Davis is one of my most favorite actress of all time my she never be forgotten I was wondering who all after seeing her appear gave her an ovation even if it was in awe😮I'm happy I stumbled across another one of her movies 👏🏾👏🏿👏🏼👏🏽
I don't doubt those little "tools" are used today. Beginning to believe every movie has a tad - if not out right telling through Predictive Programming. I think it's all about the technology we have and in espionage and they use it on us. "They" can't experiment - they have to tell us but they don't say how. So they do it through movies and cartoons. Introduce ideas into people's heads. Predictive Programming? Yeah, I think so.
It was used again in a TV show called "Search" WNBC-4. Anthony Franciosa played an agent for World Securities Corp, a private security firm. Its PROBEs or detectives connected to a Mission Control-like surveillance center would send their A/V findings back. Franciosa was placed under the same ultrasound attack as Anthony Lawrence, here.
@@tracywilliams7929 It's goes back to silent movies. Watch Metropolis or skip to the end. What do they say, It's right in front of us and we don't see it ?
Sound disabling & brainwashi, has tools are very much in use, they just don't look like this. "Voice of God" is one very sinister tool that combines both as a matter of fact. NORAD is in fact absolutely disabling & can be fatal.
I think this is one of the best movies, I have ever seen, with it twist & turns of the plot, it gripped me with intrigue & it dealt with hypnosis & brainwashing & this was released in 1972, this movie was beyond its time,. There's a saying, "The best way to hide something is right in front of your face", enough said.😎
I don't agree with the low rating given to this film. The actors are fairly good and the script not so unprobable considering the advances made in the control of the brain during the last decades. All the same, a very enjoyable film.
A silly movie with lots of plot holes, yet I couldn’t stop watching it. This film could easily mistaken for a James Bond movie with Bette Davis being the first female “super-villain” and Wagner as James Bond. The film, despite it’s ridulous plot, had excellent sets and production design. The use of sonic waves as a means to obtain “mind control” was interesting and an original script idea. It’s a really fun time waster!
Madame Sin was inspiration for Madonna's recent persona? Anyway, Bette Davis is certainly interesting to watch and listen to here, accenting something of her Margot Channing character, in a strange context she seems to enjoy. Only took some days to get through watching the whole movie
The film looked promising but I had to give up because of the disruption caused by the over frequent ads. Maybe someone else will load it with a lot fewer ads.
La gente de ahora, niños y niñas ya no conocen a estos actores, es una pena. No se ponen en la TV películas de ellos, ahora es todo cine Moderno a cual peor.
I read only just a few comments but people are missing the point of this movie it's about MK Ultra people get it this is what they've done and this is what they continue to do MK Ultra how horrific and no one is getting it there are two enthralled with Betty Davis's makeup unbelievable just where they want you guys wow
I love Bette Davis she was always excellent not sure how I'll do with this movie though, I may keep hissing at Robert Wagner, on the other hand it seems apropos for him to be a CIA a/Gent. A diehard fan of Natalie Wood & Bette Davis. Wagner forevermore will remind me of Natalie Wood's death. I see an egotistical pretty face whom Wood should of never married [Sin.atra had something to do with that, hiss! ] never mind remarry. Thanks for the movie look forward to watching Davis.
I enjoy the movie. We need a remake with an older actress who has many years of experience. I dont think if it were remade that we dont keep it up to date and leave it in the 1970s setting. No modern technology, just like it was.
Public now must understand byat these may not be only fiction, messing of minds has been going on not only normal average publics taken as victims but also in leaderships, a fact of your three kutties of west uk usa russia and their circle of crony nations, and their experiments, my own childrens head so messed against their own parents
A shout out to bert kwouk of pink panther fame, who appeared in the very end...how many countless movies does he have a small role in?it must be a huge number
If only Mr. Wagner had of apologized. "I am Very Sorry Madame Sin. I thought for a minute you might of killed my girlfriend and I said some stupid things in the heat of the moment, but now I can see that she is alive and loves me, and I just owe you a big , big; big apology for ruining your submarine kidnap and most importantly insulting you in your lovely home. I been feeling lousy about the whole thing and should have known what happened in Baby Jane to Joan Crawford.. and Again, I 'm really, really sorry."
This and "The Prisoner" stand out for me as the two out of three most advanced expressions of the genre in drama. Third? " Alphaville". It featured Agent Lemme Caution!😅
Bette Davis and Robert Wagner!?!? You got me, I'm all in for the ride. Davis is one of the greatest actors in film history. Legend, well earned.
Best actress of all time,IMHO.
Without a doubt!❤
you mean acrtess
Best thing Wagner did for the movie was be....producer. Best eye make up ever saw on Bette. Really enjoyed.
Never saw this movie before Bette Davis is best actress ever
Yeah she's great!

"First Cousin (once removed) on both sides of my family. ..,"
My head hurts just trying to visualize that. Davis was amazing I loved her acting and spunk.

That's so cool!

Only Bette could pull this off. She was the best. I’d watch that woman read the telephone directory.
😆🤣
Ain't you busy watching Richard Marsden reading the dictionary
I know thats right
My mother would've have agreed. Ms. Davis was her favorite actor, followed by Olivia Dehavilland.

This Bette Davis acting performance is over the top just awesome

I couldn't have picked a better three if I tried
Yes!
I am in agreement with you.

The. BETTE DAVIS IS MY HERO.WHATEVER SHE STARRED IN WAS THE TOPS❤WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED .RIP 👸 QUEEN.
There is so much about this that reminds me of the 1967 "The Prisoner" TV series with Patrick McGoohan.
Yes I agree it’s the same type of atmosphere ❤
Лондон, 70 е и Бетт Девис ❤❤❤, лучшие фильмы на ночь глядя ❤❤❤. Огромное спасибо за кино ❤❤❤
Great Dark ending ! Not sugar coated like it could of been. Bette Davis certainly had those eyes made up to top form for this one.
I didn't know anything about this film.. But since it has "the Divine Davis" on it.. I'll see it right away 🎉🎉🎉
Where has this film been all my life? It's GREAT!
Just hearing the sound track of this is a TIME WARP in itself. You have really done it this time, Great Movie... 💯💯💯

Seriously no competition imho Bette was light years ahead and never her performances never get old😊
Thank you R C for another great movie discovery 🎉👏🇺🇸💜🎻🗽☺️
This movie was awesome. Would've been nice had there been a sequel.
it was supposed to be a series

A not picked up tv pilot. Glad it’s available! Love Bette ♥️
Let's face it in the seventies we had such legends around who were so good we had had no idea just how fortunate we were.
remember those old Tuesday Movie of the week
Never seen this film, loved it. Betty was amazing and Robert too. More please. Thanks
"Betty?" Not everyone's 12 years old on these boards, but many are.
Great to see Denholm Elliott again! I saw him in a lot of films when I was younger.
Thanks so much for this. It made my night.
NOW I DO LIKE THAT ENDING 10/10 .

no nuns were harmed in the filming of this motion picture.
😅
Oilboogy and Gobdenz !☝
Bette Davis delivered some of the funniest lines and only she could do it. At the end I understand why she took this role 😁😁
Imagine billing Wagner above Elliott, Jackson, Sutton. The cheek! Oh, he produced it?

Then Laker came along and it was much cheaper.

I don't know if anybody remembers but during Hollywood's Golden era Robert and Natalie woods were the prince and princess of Hollywood. 📸🎥🎭🎬
Denholm is a first-class actor who can play any role.
RW so beautiful man and BD always the queen of acting
Stellar makeup on her eyes. Loved this film :) . Had it in my Watch Later for years! Finally watched it this Halloween season
