If he were alive today he’d be so shocked by centuries of innovations he’d feel overwhelmed and stressed out of his mind. Maybe he’d try to see if his deafness could finally be cured. Maybe he’d study scores by all the master composers that followed him. He’d probably like Brahms, Stravinsky and Schoenberg’s directions a lot. Rach 2 and 3 would blow his mind, I’d bet.
