He tends in or close to the top-5, and I've seen him take the top spot like twice. Thank you for mentioning Destruction Warlocks. They are criminally underrated in this xpac. I know min maxed Affliction and Demo can squeeze out bit more damage, but i've gone to Destro many times for the fun of it and I am still topping the charts. Its burst can be insane, the stun is amazing, and like you said in Ulduar it will come in even more handy. The replenish it gives is nice, but many other classes do give that. But I remember that before the xpac went live there were a ton of people saying "oh destro is the pvp burst spec, and that is about it" But I have consistently done well with it throughout so far, and I only see it going up. I currently my guild's Demo lock, and i'm fine with that, still pumping, but I dropped my affliction for Destro, because I know its alot better than many believe.
destro would be good if the two other specs werent demo and affli. affli just is better when u have to move around and its incredible on yogg p3, two things destro is not good at
Regarding assassination rogue 2:56 : I think using the feint glyph is still going to take priority over tricks in uld regardless if its a dps gain or not because of that 50% aoe reduction. However, are we SURE that its a personal dps gain? Yes poisons and weapon procs can proc off it, but they do off auto attacks as well. When you feint you DISENGAGE combat for a very brief moment that you would've been auto attacking. Basically replacing 1 auto attack with the no melee dmg feint. People assume its an extra "attack" but I don't think it from what I see testing this out on the dummy. Again, I don't think it matters much but I am just curious as to how people know* this is a personal dps gain. All I can find is people saying it is theoretically with no real data to back it up.

So the haste will not snapshot for the full duration on cast but instead, the gargoyle will check all the haste buffs and procs on the dk every time it casts its spell. So haste does still affect gary but you can't get those insanely buffed gary's anymore with 400% haste for the full duration.
why are people acting like hard modes are impossible? You were never meant to be able to do them in Naxx gear. Give it a month, the hard modes will barely be an issue. Algalon will be tough even in TOGC gear. But doable. It’s like people just fearmonger and exaggerate for clicks. And so many people seem to not remember doing Ulduar at all. It’s not that hard, just a numbers game.
in uld mages grab magic absorption for 80 resist all and prismatic cloak 2/3 for 4% reduced damage. makes you a little tankier for prog and the DPS dif is minimal. (7% spirit)

Do you really think they would continue to be top with the gary nerf? I dont know how some of the people cant even do simple Math. Blizzard straight up nerfed 20 to 30 percent of the unholy damage. Theres no other ways that dks can make up for it. Its a straight up dps loss and unholy will not be at top 3.
If you played Fury through Naxx...it gets WAY better. Obviously they crush the meter on cleave fights in ICC, I've pulled 42k DPS on phase 1 LOD on Pserver it's a lot of fun. Warlock is nuts though, highly recommend that as well. I love Demo and affliction is fun too

But I can’t even imagine a context where that would be true about feint being a single target DPS increase vs tricks? You can tricks pre pull anyways for the tank so the energy doesn’t matter. Feint could maybe help them avoid that AoE or whatever if that is true and they could stay in on some dangerous parts of a fight but again, that has nothing to do with tricks. Can a super gamer rogue try to translate this man’s thoughts?
He worded this wrong. Rogues want to take feint glyph over tricks glyph to parse. You do this because feint (which now costs 0 energy due to the glyph) can proc your main hand poison. Also warlocks can still snapshot on pull within the 5 second tricks buff so you still benefit them as well.
It’s pretty much the same as in phase 1 which is sad we get months and months half a year of the same classes being top until TOGC AND ICC. For example the omen of clarity clear casting procs for feral Druid are so awfully unbalanced that your potential high dps relies on rng all the time, as opposing to an unholy death knight or demo warlock simply pressing their spells and big cds all fight.
Unholy DK's DPS is fully relying on what procs you get within the first 10 seconds of the fight. How is that "simply pressing their spells". Literally one of the most RNG heavy specs in the game right now

Unholy dks burst is not at all that good unless they can snapshot at the start, with a perfect scenario... Most other classes will be able to compete, when you are popping BL at a random time 2 or more minutes into the fight.

@@nairav9156 abandoning set will not be worth it, however, if there is any arms players still left, you can go the 2.5 tier set for algalon and its actually gigabroken and will make progging algalon much easier, however you do lose a shit load of personal dps and hp, but for algalon kills you might want a arms warrior for 2.5 tier, it is not a meme.
mage dk lock. obviously. hardmodes are only hard until you start getting ulduar gear. Even a raid team in half ulduar gear will easily be able to do algalon. The fight isnt hard it's just a gear check.

feral unfortunately just is never gonna be good in WotLK classic. However it’s S tier on warmane bcus the developers are feral mains so they buff it
