- As a result of the January 5th incident involving an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) launched an audit of Boeing's 737 MAX production processes. In a shocking revelation, the New York Times reported on March 12 that the aircraft in question had failed 33 of 89 tests! This was just one piece of shocking and embarrassing news related to Boeing and its production process.

So why is the CEO still there
They encourage employees to speak up then say shut up when they do
When they whistle blow some times nothing is accomplished. Unfortunately. Because some of the politicians or the regulators are paid off, or just incompetent.
Or end up dead

If it's Boeing, I'm not going.
Nah. I'm just only hate the MAX. I'm won't step in one single MAX again.
@@hoangminhx007 that's what i thought until 787 latam incident occured...
Ryanair use the max and what happens if one turns up at the gate?
@@tomjardine100 That happened to me 😂. I had to just close my eyes and board it
@@hilman94blame turbulence for it and people not wearing their seatbelts
This is the proof when they prefer profit over safety.
You know, I keep hearing this statement. And I keep asking. What profits? They are losing money like crazy
@@liordagan9342 Exactly, they are losing money and in their effort to make profits they are cutting corners and stupidly exacerbating the exact reason why airlines are not trusting them so much
@@liordagan9342 they take loans and sell assets to pay for dividends and buybacks...
the profits are for the managers and "in the know" shareholders... that probably already have sold their share after some friend on the board phone call... and now, only fools who got in the boat too late hoping to profit from the share rise, are holding those and will lose everything
Buy cheap, buy twice.
If BOEING chose safety and quality over profits this wouldn't have happened
The FAA was also asleep on the job.
FAA did what the FAA was allowed to do. Thanks to American politicians being bought by lobbyists (if this were in middle America this would be called corruption) they made the rules that the FAA has to follow
The FAA isn't allowed to certify each boeing plane. Congress took that away in 2009
Anyone familiar with Boeings culture ever since acquiring MD and replacing executives with engineering backgrounds, with executives with accounting backgrounds have been warning of this end result for decades
Boeing is all about firing engineers and hiring more accountants.
i believe they will hire more corporate lawyer...
What? And leave the likes of Calhoun running the show? Why is his head never on the chopping block?
And assassins.

They even hire hitmen these days
Narration says Spirit passed 6 of 13 while the graphic says 6/13 failed.

That is terrifying
I wouldn't ride any Boeing plane for now...
problem, companies have hundreds of them (even if only looking at the Max series) and they will fly them until told not to... and you can believe that lobbyists are working hard to stop that from happening...
The older 737 NG and classic series are fine. I hate flying and this is making my fear worse
@@kolerickover here in Europe, most airlines fly airbus, the only one to completely avoid is the fan boys over at Ryanair. I managed to avoid boeings pretty easy for the last decade, I'd say
@@MatthiasKubik Ryanair 737-800s are fine but the maxes i really want to avoid
then dont fly. its becoming not safe to fly any airbus either
Problem is avoiding maxes is going to get more difficult once more planes enter airlines fleets. Ryanair is expected to have 40 by June
This is why I have made the decision not to fly Ryanair henceforth. I don't think it will bother them terribly to lose my irregular custom and there's only one route I fly that has no realistic alternative, albeit more expensive ones.
I've flown on the Ryanair 737 max 8200 several times, It's really comfortable and quiet compared to the old 737 NG.
Apparently I only fly 737
@@2adamast 39 by July, 38 by August . . .
If production processes are the problem, then ALL Boeing types are suspect.
I worked on Boeing aircraft for 50 years. They were always 1st in anything thing you wanted to measure. What's happening to them now is very, very sad. I hope they get themselves back on track.
and I guess that Airbus was terrible? 😂😂 Remember the 737 rudder actuator problem?
I’ll fly on Airbus, thank you!
Where were all these FAA inspections when these planes were being built before??
Why is this Boeing leadership team still walking freely? Lock them all up. Profits over safety has finally caught up to them.
The government need to shut them down until they take safety seriously
they wont shut them down
Shocking? It's almost expected at this point
I've always preferred Airbus to Boeing
Public safety should never be jeopardized for greater profits. The FAA must use the strongest measures in its power to ensure higher quality standards are met. Especially given the high frequency of incidents.
If there is another Max crash or on any other recent boeing plane then I think people will seriously start to avoid flying
Airbus does not want and cannot profit from the Boeing quality disaster. All Airbus production lines will be at full capacity until 2030. If American airlines now want to switch to Airbus, other airlines would have to forego their deliveries or postpone deliveries to 2030. So there is no reason to be angry with Airbus.
I have full confidence in my armchair mechanics and UA-cam lawyers.😅
Boeing's 737 MAX
Ok guys, say farewell to Boeing, they might not survive another year (atleast the commercial airplane division)
But maybe for some it's good riddance...
They are too big to fail. They just shouldn't have said that they made the 737 the safest and most cross-checked plane of the industry.
But they cross checked the finances multiple times and couldn't find anything wrong with it.
😊
@@2adamastIt's not like the whole of Boeing might go down, maybe just the commercial planes division. They still have the defence and space sectors I guess.
Also airbus needs boeing to be good competition to keep it on its feet.
Boeing doesn't feel the need to change anything since MCAS incident because their plane still sell like crazy, airlines doesn't even take safety into consideration when purchasing new planes
They should. What happens when one crashes and their reputation is in tatters?

Man just make the 797 already
Simple ... Boeing think they cannot make this program financially viable.
With the QC... Yeah sure go ahead...
Boeing's newest aircraft, the 787 and the 777X are also marred with quality issues. How will the 797 be any different? The whole board of directors and all the senior management team need to be removed and replaced by fresh directors and managers from outside Boeing. That's the only way this culture of "profit-at-any-cost" will end. That's the only way Boeing will change and become best again.
Boeing used to be synonymous with quality and safety. All went wrong with the 787 and 737 max
@@chillout1109 the 777x is not marred with quality issues nor is the 787 anymore
777 was the last masterpiece Boeing created from scratch.
Scary stuff😳
I have cancelled Ryanair flight because I just can't take the risk of going on the max. Do you think that's a wise decision?
Yes
Regardless of the MAX possibility, it's probably the right decision. Only flown with them once (not my choice) and it wasn't the best of experiences.
I will never trust Boeing after MCAS
The McDonald Douglas merger should have never gone through.
Nothing's gonna change 😅
Boeing?
For all of those who said "the 737MAX is now the safest plane ever" after they were reintroduced... Well, not quite
Where are Buttigieg and the FAA?????
If this continues, airbus would leave boeing in the dirt
I think they already are - last i saw was that Airbus was delivering about 50% more aircraft.

They already have.

Just nationalize the corporation. Take the profit motive out of it. Peoples' lives are on the line
Keep the defence division if they want to, but about time that the rest of the group is sold to someone else (like: Commercial aircraft corporation of China limited).
after the B737 MAX debacle the B777-9X is another disaster waiting to happen in terms of losing prospective sales . . . the folding wing tips on the B777-9X was totally unnecessary, could have done without . . . Boeing shouldn't have stopped making the B777-300 ER & B777-200 LR wide body jets . . .
