It looks fantastic, Deggy. I live about a 10 minute walk from it , so I'll see it being built daily. I'm in the David Preece stand, so I'm eying up one of those seats in the corners already😂. The groundwork is moving along at a steady pace. We must be due another drone video soon from the man who has been doing them for us 🤔
As an Everton fan I have been watching our new stadium being built since the initial concept videos and it has brought me here, Got to say it looks great, I love the Halo. Good to see you guys back in the game.
Your new ground looks amazing I’ve seen some great games against Everton and watched you lift 2 league 1 trophies in the late 80s Will be good to see Luton play Everton home and away soon
I’m an Everton supporter and watched our build from the drawing board with a smile as big as yours 😃 Apparently we get the keys in 2 months so I’ve just found and subscribed to your channel to follow your build. Good luck with permission and look forward to seeing your updates 👍
It might seem like a strange question but is there any particular reason why the Stadium seems to be at a strange angle in the way that it relates to it's surroundings?
Not 100% on it but im sure i read factors such as re-routing the river lea was a reason for the original dimensions of the stadium. Now that isnt a factor, the river will pass under the stadium so the land can be used to incorporate the other developments shown here. I dont mind the angle of the stadium, although im intrigued by the entry points being in the corners!!!
Look at minute 7:07. You can see red line barrier. They are literally maxing out their boundary before the tracks so I believe that’s literally the best angle they could find without going over the boundary
@@deggyuksports Is it because of the close proximity to the Church.. I'm sure they have reorientated the Stadium from the original plans for a lower capacity? Don't get me wrong, this is music to all our ears to see a new ground happen and you know already know how many games my ears have attended over the years but seriously, do the supporters still have any input on stadium design at this stage of proceedings or is it set in stone? You know my email if you prefer.. Sorry Deggs I forgot to say.. Thanks for your video. It helps keep the old timers like me up to speed 🙂
Nice, but personally i hate away fans sections on the side of the pitch. Thinks he takes away from the atmosphere, but im an old git so many im just stuck on old traditions
Yeah I get that! However after being at all the different grounds, I feel on the side is less “intrusive” than behind the goal where the team it attacking to. When behind goal, the sound travels down the pitch, where as on the side it sort of stays up one end
I don’t want to come across as disrespectful, but I don’t get only a 22k capacity. Luton have come a long way in a short time. If the club wants to push on & potentially be a regular prem club, it will require finances from larger attendance’s. Yes crowd numbers are nowhere near that now, but fans flock to successful clubs. Don’t do a Brentford, a great new stadium, but nowhere near large enough for continued on field success & growth
Luton are definitely an ambitious club looking for the top however 25k stadium is a good number for the area. You see all these stadiums half empty as they’ve over done it or had the success and now just stuck in the pyramid with no chance of going up. Having a larger stadium and not being filled costs money. We are going from 12k to 25k, lots of revenue potential. If we are a regular premier league team in years to come then I am sure they have ideas.

It is indeed!

Amazing! Excited to see your final build! Thank you for supporting my Chanel!
That's a great update & exciting times ahead.
I've been eagerly waiting for an update, looks very promising and can't wait! 😊
Thanks Deggy. Really useful mate. Plans look great 👍
Thank you!
Great description…thx Deggy.
Thank you!
Pie in the sky ‼️
Will this finally give life to Luton and encourage a new town? Dying for improvements
Yep we really hope so!!
Great video. Keep us updated please.
Thank you! Will do
Looks sick. It's gonna be the heart and soul of the town. But put those pesky away fans in one of those corner pods! 🤪
Hahah imagine!
Great video to digest. Will watch again when less hungover 🍻
(Wow. It’s ambitious and I’d love to see how it’s costed)
Haha! It looks great
This is the video I thought you could have spoken a bit slower, thanks for the great content
Ahh perfect, thank you for the clarification! Will make sure I do this moving forward!
Tell you what deggggz love it, love it if they did a video of it.., like a virtual video
Yeah that would be quality wouldn’t it!!
70 years next year since we started looking for a home away from Kenilworth Road
Thanks for this. Had the idea of a sunken pitch disappears?
I didn’t find evidence of this however it’s not to say it’s still not happening. Tried to be as clear with what I found as possible!
Must have a lot of legroom because it looks bigger than 25K, the tread depth must be 850mm or more.

I think it's because they've decided to build a music venue and hotel as well
@@KasDin-z2h It makes me dizzy , please turn the Stadium a few degrees, I'm sure we can still get Music and Hotels in ..

Where is the Pelly Ruddock statue going that's what I would like to know.
I hope he gets one! Opposite to the Mick Harford one!
What’s the estimated cost of the stadium not including the hotel etc?
Don’t think that’s disclosed!
Looks brilliant, but you didn't mention the VAR camera's, because we will be in the premiership by the time it's built 2027.
Im sure they will all be built in! Probably VAR in championship by then too!

Yeh i prefer away section behind the goal, a la oak stand. Thought that was the reason for a 2 tier south stand?!?!
@@mohammediftekaruddin7380 I thought the away fans would be behind goal too but looking at that diagram I did, would say otherwise

All that work for just 19,000 fans
