Swansea's Liberty stadium was built on a disused copper works slag tip and turned into a stadium to share with the the Ospreys rugby team with good parking right outside the stadium and well catered for. MK Dons will always cater for the musical and rock fans even with inept seasonal results. Just glad the governor has now resigned 😊.... Come on you Hatters, let's see Power court on the map. 5 minutes from the airport. ❤
It's fascinating how stadiums can transform areas, much like how the Liberty Stadium brought new life to Swansea. With so much anticipation around the Luton Stadium upgrade, hopefully, it can serve the community just as well. Power Court being just minutes from the airport should be a great advantage. Are you hopeful about what this new development could bring for the Hatters?
I liked this, and thanks for posting. We moved to Pride Park in the 1990s, and it's great to move out of the old and into the new. Hopefully this happens for Luton, and all fans who could do with a new stadium. It would be good if it was a higher capacity, and costs and sustainability seem to have been considered. Logistics are great. Good luck Hatters.
Thanks for sharing your experience and kind words! 😊 It’s indeed exciting to see the potential for Luton to move to a modern stadium, just like Pride Park. The new logistics and sustainable measures sound promising, and who wouldn't love a higher capacity? Good luck to the Hatters! ⚽️🙌
They were talking about a new stadium over 40 years ago but it is good that something is now on the horizon. The local council haven't really helped when previous plans were put forward and of course the club had massive financial woes. Having seen the building site being worked on, I find it surprising there is such a large area available between the railway line and the Arndale Centre (aka The Mall).
It's amazing how the new Luton Stadium will finally become a reality after all these years! 🤩 It's definitely taken some time to overcome past hurdles, but the space available for the build between the railway line and the Arndale Centre is impressive indeed! 🚧🏗️ Can't wait to see it completed! 🏟️
Great video. 👍 Just curious, how do you know it cost 450 million? The club have never announced the cost. But its a beautiful stadium and will secure the future of the club.
Thanks for the kind words! 😊 The cost of £450 million was mentioned based on estimates and reports from construction planning and insider insights. It's indeed a stunning stadium that will play a big part in the club's future! ⚽🏟️
Thanks for pointing this out! The stadium upgrade details might have been updated since the video was released. Stay tuned for more exciting updates on these mega projects! ⚽🏟️
A 23k capacity might seem small compared to some of the giant stadiums out there, but it could offer a more intimate and electric atmosphere for fans. With the Luton Stadium upgrade costing £450 million, it's sure to be an impressive venue regardless. What do you think about the potential fan experience it could offer?
40k at least…😕 greater capacity means greater profits. Talking about the fan experience with only 23k capacity, I bet many fans will have to watch it on tv because most of those seats will be booked for season card holders… not a great fan experience, right?
But Luton Town are a small thickle club with tinpot fans. A brand new stadium for Luton Town to replace Kenilworth Road wouldn’t let them get promoted back to the Premier League.
It's true that Luton Town has a smaller fanbase compared to some Premier League giants, but every club starts somewhere! The new stadium could be a stepping stone for them, and who knows-maybe it will inspire a return to the Premier League. What do you think of the upgrade plans?
The new stadium upgrade could be a huge boost for Luton! Let's see how it impacts their performance in the championship. Do you think it might help keep them there? 🤔
@@gaetan5899 Nathan helped, but it was the previous manager John Still who really began the journey from 5th league to Premier league. Nathan inherited John's team and the spirit John gave to the club. John made us win the 5th league. Then Nathan made us 2nd place in 4th league. Nathan left and Mick Harford and assistant Steve Rutter made us win 3rd league. Rob Edwards made us win play off final in 2nd league and got us into Premier. However, if Luton don't get this stadium built, they will cease to exist as a club. Kenilworth Road cannot support us financially anymore and we won't ground share with any rivals. This stadium will secure the future of the club and generate much income from hosting other sporting and music events.
The video might be about a stadium in England, but "multi-million dollar" is often just a way to refer to large sums of money. This upgrade is definitely massive! 💸⚽️
Great point! While the new Luton Stadium might seem smaller, it's designed for expansion and future upgrades. 🚀 It's all about creating a solid foundation for future ambitions! 🏟️ What do you think about their plans?
Luton's new stadium upgrade might change some minds! 😊 It's exciting to see such investment in their facilities and the future of football in Luton. 🚀 Let's see how they grow in the Premier League! ⚽️

It sounds like you have strong feelings about the club's past! With the new £450 million stadium upgrade in Luton, do you think this might finally show some of that ambition and change your perspective? COYH!
Thanks for giving it a try! 😊 The new Luton Stadium upgrade is quite an exciting project. Hope you find something more suited to your taste next time! 🎉
Geographical, it would be hard to fill. Even if you managed to get back to the Premier League….. The quirky Gtech stadium style would be more realistic…
@@nigelbaldwin1038not sure on geographical location because we have to see when that day comes though they can feel it Wembley I believe we had 39,000 but since we’re in the championship probs will get just the same as we get now
Sorry to hear you feel that way! 😅 But many are excited about the new developments at Luton Stadium. Perhaps seeing the final result might change your mind! 🌟

Great video. As a Luton supporter, living the stadium dream for 30+ years!
Thanks for watching! 🏟️ It's amazing to finally see the dream come true after 30 years! 🎉 Luton has a bright future ahead! ⚽
Most likeable team?!
premier league? next year they could be league 1.
It might rival MKD's stadium as best in League One.
I cannot wait to see the old ground levelled!
🏗️ The anticipation is real! Seeing the old ground transformed will be amazing. Can't wait for the new Luton Stadium to take shape! ⚽️✨

They're a struggling Championship team, not a Prem team. Also, Power Court is not 2 miles from Kenilworth Road.
Yes it is 🤣🤣🤣 atleast map it before commenting
@@marcusgirling No it's not. It's 1.2 miles according to Google Maps, so get your facts straight before being a keyboard warrior.
