I have one I planted in the spring in central Texas that has bloomed prolifically for 6 months. Many people have ask for seeds which I happily shared. This video will help everyone learn how to propogate from seed. Bravo!
@Nichole Fuller, Most welcome and totally agree with you, this plant really does well when neglected :-) Thank you very much for watching the video, have a great time ahead :-)
You probably dont care but does anyone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost the account password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Zyaire Harlem Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Wow flowers at less than 60 days! It says 85-100 days here in Canada grown as an annual.... I have a lot of trouble getting it to germinate even on a heat mat}! Love how u show every stage in your videos!
@jayashree murthy, Thank you So So much for the feedback, much appreciated :-) I also rarely collect seeds..LOL..Sure, good luck in growing next year and anyway, it's almost time to start with Winter flowering plants. I have many to share :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat Nice to see ur immediate reply. I started a terrace garden during covid... Now it's very relaxing & interesting. I'mincoimbatore-TN. Where r u fr. I will post some pics Gd day.

@Meghana Parab, Thank you So So much and definitely I would upload the video on Rain lily in coming few days. For the other one (partial Sun), would do very soon and include winter flowering plants as it's near :-) I already have one video about Plants that don't need direct Sunlight to bloom and here is the video - ua-cam.com/video/L6ChsN6hpTk/v-deo.html Thank you :-)
Hi just watched your video, very informative. Thanks. Earlier this season (im in Australia) I purchased som Gomphrena seeds as I wanted to attract pollenators to my garden. Out of the cell that I planted 1-2 seeds in 4 locations only 1 plant came up. I was looking forward to this weekend potting it out. But sadly we had some high winds over night...and my seed start blew away. I was wondering if there was time to re-sow this season or should I wait till next spring to try again? Thanks
We can sow these seeds in any of the seasons and germination takes more time. Even if you get one plant also you get more and more plants with the dried flowers of that one plant
Hey there! please reply. Do they die from less watering too? I don't know what happened, this morning when I woke up I saw them faded. The leaves are loosen 😞 Currently I have 20 flowers in them. Please suggest what to do. Thank you❤️
Sorry for bit late reply..both are fine after sowing. Full sun - it would grow fast and partial sun - it would take some more time. Full sun - would need frequent watering. Partial sun - less frequent watering. It depends on what you prefer..
@Mallika Deenadayalu, Feb-March is the best but we still can do as they continue flowering till December. But it would depend on climate though...if temp is not too low in December, definitely Gomphrena would be flowering :-)
@Sharjeel Zubair, That's because I cover everything in a single video so that everyone can get all info in a single video. But anyway, I should've done earlier...anyway, would do for Winter plants the way you are expecting...
