@@urbangardeningofficial I planted a hybrid zinnia flower plant brought from the plant nursery. If we save the seeds of that flower, will it produce a hybrid flower? No, it will be smaller. Pl reply
Thank you for all of this important and informative planting information. I was given some zinnia plants but zero instructions for raising them. I didn’t know that they could be dead headed. The potting mixture is extremely helpful as well since it would help me to figure out where not to plant them due to the soil needs of my other plants. I don’t have a green thumb so everything is new to me since I’m finally taking the time to grow flowers and a vegetable garden. Again thank you for all the detailed information.🤗🤗👍🏻
What an excellent video! Clear, precise instructions explaining what to do and why. A total beginner could follow this easily! I've not grown zinnias before and this is very helpful 👍🏼 Thank you.

So nice of you 🙏 starting seeds together in a pot will be better as you can water them at once ...change thr location in one go and in short they can be grown better with less care
Beautiful …. I have planted them from seeds but their stem is not straight … it falls down on the grill n then grows upwards . What should I do to make them grow straight . I will plant more seeds to grow them more . Please advice . Keep posting such videos on all plants . Happy Gardening.
Keep them in full sun from day one ...so that they can grow straight n strong ....provide support from sticks if plants are too tall or too heavy..... you can also prune them in the starting once they are 4-6 inches tall for the plant to grow bushy
@@urbangardeningofficial thanks so much for ur prompt reply . . I have again saw the seeds. I will follow ur guidelines . Hopefully they grow in their proper way !! Happy Gardening.
Hello. Watching from Kenya. I must thank you for your insightful videos. I just started yesterday. I'm growing coriander, capsicum, rosemary, tomatoes, spinach and onions. I only have access to river soil, can I use that entirely?
Question buddy. My zinnia ended up germinating as normal but stem grew very thin with no strength and bent over eventually dieing. Can you advise possible problem may have been.
Absolutely! You have to keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t dry out or get chomped on by animals, but sowing in place is very simple for zinnias
Hello Urban Gardening ! I want to grow Zinnias from seeds too but I want to grow the shortest variety of Zinnia. Can you please suggest which variety to grow. I am confused between Zinnita, Zahara and Dreamland.
Can we not pinch the long variety zinia to make them bushy? I have sowed some seed but I don't know if they are long or dwarf variety . And I only have the access of hanging planters by the window , so I can't provide them bigger pots. Please suggest a way to grow them in smaller pots.
Thanks for the video, I have a doubt, if its on the terrace in full day sunlight, is it okay for the plant because in Rajasthan temparture will go upto 40 degrees
I have sown zinnias in March I have transplanted them After few days the leaves dried up And plant died Two of them survived bt the buds are very small They never bloomed well
@@HarshaVardhan-dn7gq also slugs and snails love them! And when I plant them out I cover them with a half a plastic bottle so no bugs can get to them when young and tender. They can make the whole seedling disappear in a minute
