A tip for WA. don't use 2 charge howling gale for burst unless you are trying to maximize trifling wind procs With how howling gale cd works, you should lead with howling gale after buffing up as its cd ticks down as long as there is less than 3 charges, however it is unaffected by cd reduction and cd reset. (when bursting Howling > Vortex > chickens > merciless > song of heaven. Cast merciless off cd and never cast monsoon unless it is too dangerous to approach the boss) If you are using terms and conditions (AB link), you should be casting 3x howling gale to maximize damage while AB link is active. I would recommend to follow it up with a 1x howling to maximize damage while vicious shot is up but you are free to skip the cast in favor of casting 3x howling when AB link is of cd (60 sec) Otherwise, you can try maximizing trifling wind procs by casting 2x howling followed by two 1x howling over the course of 30s/vicious shot. Not recommended if you have AB or a usable oz/skill ring As for other tips. You can technically mash song of heaven and move (SoH starts attacking immediately, would prefer a moving song of heaven but this is a serviceable alternative). If you are casting Will skill (true arachnid reflection) and later Seren Skill (Solar Crest), cast it first before your buffs as the initial damage pop is not worth the time to cast while vicious shot is ticking down.
WOW, thank you for these tips! yeah I've been trying to maximize trifling wind procs but realised that with AB link, it's counter-productive. I just tested this and you're right - 3x howling gale is better with AB link and 2x howling + 1x howling without AB link.
