Ok so I may be wrong about this because I'm not inherently fluent in Korean, but I believe that the title 질렀어 can mean the tossing of dice, more or less, hence all the dice imagery. The dice could also be referring to the game of chance, hence now or never (as if they're gambling on love)

I always felt like the dice had the significance of 'betting everything on this moment'. "I just did it" meaning that the rolling of the dice means that no matter the outcome of the event (I assume the event is confessing their love/attraction to the girl) they did it anyway because they didn't have any time to delay. Sort of like maybe a reference to gambling but gambling on love in this case. I don't know, that's just how I felt. Also, maybe the colors mean how confident they are or are not about the outcome. Red meaning determined/uneasy, green meaning confident, purple meaning scared/sad, blue meaning content no matter what. Just my take on it!

A very late analysis: This song is about sexuality and "the passage into manhood" from what I've heard in interviews, so I think the chairs going from red to green is representing how sex goes from being a taboo subject, which we see from the lyrics, "Dangerous red light", to green to show how they're now ready for that stage, with "I did it" "I just did it" being the chorus- referring to sex. Other colours are used too, blues and purples, probably to reflect how "The world becomes coloured" as said in the lyrics. Purple lighting is especially used, a secondary colour, comprised of blue and red, colours that we associate with men and women respectively. They fuse together to become purple, in a relationship, you become a new person, a new colour. Quite romantic, huh? Why the chair motif? Chairs have four legs which could represent a 2 people (who have 2 legs each) in a couple and how they become one (and so 4 legs). Them later sitting on the chair shows they've now become comfortable with this once taboo subject. Dice are a symbol of fate, tying into that whole romantic idea of fateful meetings. The scene of the guy in the purple box is juxtaposed by a more open space, illustrating how small their world was when boys, and how it opens up once they go through puberty, and fall in love.

The dice in the video, the game boards, black gammon etc.. the "guy/s" in the dice means like "rolling a dice", it can have a good or bad result. It is represented by that person wanting to bet his everything for his love. It's a complicated feeling like a roller coaster ride, exciting but scary at the same time. There's up and down. It can mean a go or a stop. It's like a tug of war, will he push or pull? Then he thought, it's Now or Never, so he did that and just went for it without thinking whether he'll lose or gain. Just risking it all for the sake of his love. The different colors is just an addition to make the video more fun to watch.

Thanks for reacting to SF9 again. Their live performances are so good and yes they did go to KCON NY and will go to KCON LA they have gone every year since their debut. They always garner attention when they go to KCON because they are great performers. They haven’t been one of those groups who stick to a sound or concept they are very versatile because they have been trying to find their unique sound. SF9 changes their concept pretty much every comeback. And yes, they are very widely and deeply slept on. They are incredible dancers/performers. Their set at KCONNY was great(they did a bunch of their own songs and a cover of Exo’s Love Shot) and they will be performing at KCONLA as well. If you’re into their dancing I’d suggest KO, Jungle Game, their cover of Run Devil Run, and I’d suggest checking out the medleys they did on billboard of their title tracks. They have a dance one and a singing one that are both great!

Together with "Fanfare" they're their first songs. "O sole mio" is still iconic. "Roar" and "Easy Love" are still playing in my head after all this time. "Mamma Mia" is so playful, and I especially love the performance version. "Enough" served us looks for days. The dance practice of "Unlimited" is beautiful. I don't know, man. They're good. The song is about awakening sexuality. Given that, the dice represent the chance that you're taking by becoming sexually aware--and active. The colors represent the spectrum of sexuality. And I'd replace all of the "I just did it" lines with "Now or Never." The song makes more sense then. By the way, give the song more chances to breathe. You're stopping too often. This is my favorite song of theirs so this makes me very happy Also there is a new boy group (surprise there lol) called D1CE (pronounced dee-once) and their members have been on different survival shows (produce 101, boys24, and mixnine). They released music before their debut as a project to get their names out there and had their official debut August 1st with “Wake Up”. They describe it as a trap beat with brass sounds. First of all, this Album is called "Sensuous" and it's supposed to represent their transition from boys to men, like recognizing and accepting themselves as mature individuals beyond mere boys. The person said that they think the colors represent the transition from one point to the other. It starts with red which often symbolizes anger and conflict (like a boy might feel when they're in a confusing time of their lives such as adolescence), and other times it symbolizes passion and drive (maybe finding a purpose they're passionate about has helped them overcome doubts and confusion); then they move to green, which symbolizes wisdom, maybe acceptance. And by the end there's a rainbow of colors represented all over the mv, which could be a hidden way to say whatever you find in your self discovery path, be it your sexuality, your beliefs, anything, it is perfectly valid because it's your own and you should just embrace it. Maybe this person was reading too much into it, but I agree with them and I think it does make sense.

Ok so I may be wrong about this because I'm not inherently fluent in Korean, but I believe that the title 질렀어 can mean the tossing of dice, more or less, hence all the dice imagery. The dice could also be referring to the game of chance, hence now or never (as if they're gambling on love)

I always felt like the dice had the significance of 'betting everything on this moment'. "I just did it" meaning that the rolling of the dice means that no matter the outcome of the event (I assume the event is confessing their love/attraction to the girl) they did it anyway because they didn't have any time to delay. Sort of like maybe a reference to gambling but gambling on love in this case. I don't know, that's just how I felt. Also, maybe the colors mean how confident they are or are not about the outcome. Red meaning determined/uneasy, green meaning confident, purple meaning scared/sad, blue meaning content no matter what. Just my take on it!

A very late analysis:
This song is about sexuality and "the passage into manhood" from what I've heard in interviews, so I think the chairs going from red to green is representing how sex goes from being a taboo subject, which we see from the lyrics, "Dangerous red light", to green to show how they're now ready for that stage, with "I did it" "I just did it" being the chorus- referring to sex. Other colours are used too, blues and purples, probably to reflect how "The world becomes coloured" as said in the lyrics. Purple lighting is especially used, a secondary colour, comprised of blue and red, colours that we associate with men and women respectively. They fuse together to become purple, in a relationship, you become a new person, a new colour. Quite romantic, huh?
Why the chair motif? Chairs have four legs which could represent a 2 people (who have 2 legs each) in a couple and how they become one (and so 4 legs). Them later sitting on the chair shows they've now become comfortable with this once taboo subject. Dice are a symbol of fate, tying into that whole romantic idea of fateful meetings. The scene of the guy in the purple box is juxtaposed by a more open space, illustrating how small their world was when boys, and how it opens up once they go through puberty, and fall in love.

i think the song is about confessing or admitting your feelings to someone you love romantically but you don't want to ruin what you already have so it goes between red and green, stop or go. There's also a chance that red could represent the more dangerous option which I think is confessing, "a dangerous red light", and green represents doubt or envy because the lyrics say "I can't lose you" so maybe someone else is interested in their loved one or their loved one is interested in someone else. "Tug-of-war" between the two choices. Rolling the dice represents chance, the person is taking a chance if they confess thus "I just bet everything on you". Blue represents realization of what that person means to them or maybe the choice I think, I'm not sure.

The dice in the video, the game boards, black gammon etc.. the "guy/s" in the dice means like "rolling a dice", it can have a good or bad result. It is represented by that person wanting to bet his everything for his love. It's a complicated feeling like a roller coaster ride, exciting but scary at the same time. There's up and down. It can mean a go or a stop. It's like a tug of war, will he push or pull? Then he thought, it's Now or Never, so he did that and just went for it without thinking whether he'll lose or gain. Just risking it all for the sake of his love. The different colors is just an addition to make the video more fun to watch.

Thanks for reacting to SF9 again. Their live performances are so good and yes they did go to KCON NY and will go to KCON LA they have gone every year since their debut. They always garner attention when they go to KCON because they are great performers. They haven’t been one of those groups who stick to a sound or concept they are very versatile because they have been trying to find their unique sound. You should check out Easy Love and O Sole Mío they are so different from RPM and Now or Never. Also I highly recommend checking out their live performances they are very talented.

Other random info: 2 of the members are actually actors as well, Eunwoo and Moonbin. Eunwoo has currently played 2 lead roles in some popular dramas and Moonbin is finishing up his first drama where he's a supporting character I believe (but his face has been on a lot of promotional stuff lol). Whenever Eunwoo gets invited to shows to talk about his dramas he always makes sure to talk about ASTRO and how much he loves his group. It's very sweet. Moonbin, Rocky, and JinJin are the dance line and all have had very interesting dancing backgrounds. JinJin attended NY dance academy in Illsan, Moonbin became a trainee at 11 years old and was known as being a look-a-like of an older, famous idol, and Rocky also became a trainee when he was 11 and at 14 he was making his own choreography. Rocky was also on the 1theK series Dance War where he placed 2nd. He's also a 4th rank black belt in taekwondo and I believe his parents are also dance instructors(? unless i'm thinking on someone else?). Sanha plays the guitar and was one of the first idols to debut with braces. If you're ever curios as to what they were like before debut and all the struggles they had to go through to be in the final line up, there's a great video about them by igotarmyofarohas ( ua-cam.com/video/kYaE_oAafEk/v-deo.html ). They also had a very successful Japanese debut in 2019 but I think the mv is blocked in America :( sad. Also the two members, JinJin and Rocky, are credited as lyricist on 41/46 songs and they have their own solo songs too, JinJin's is called Mad Max and Rocky's is Have A Nice Day, they're both heavy hip-hop influenced songs that JinJin and Rocky wrote/composed themselves.
Their company also just started adding english subtitles to all their videos so every song I recommended should have them just so you know :)

SF9 changes their concept pretty much every comeback. And yes, they are very widely and deeply slept on. They are incredible dancers/performers. Their set at KCONNY was great(they did a bunch of their own songs and a cover of Exo’s Love Shot) and they will be performing at KCONLA as well. If you’re into their dancing I’d suggest KO, Jungle Game, their cover of Run Devil Run, and I’d suggest checking out the medleys they did on billboard of their title tracks. They have a dance one and a singing one that are both great!

Dude, thanks for reacting. They're really really good and people keep sleeping on them 😣 And... primary colors! All their comebacks were good. The dance practice of "K.O." is a classic. Together with "Fanfare" they're their first songs. "O sole mio" is still iconic. "Roar" and "Easy Love" are still playing in my head after all this time. "Mamma Mia" is so playful, and I especially love the performance version. "Enough" served us looks for days. The dance practice of "Unlimited" is beautiful. I don't know, man. They're good. They even have a "Boy in luv" cover and a "Love Shot" one (and many others) because they're amazing dancers and sometimes they perform that at Kcons. This one is tied to RPM in the game theme.

The song is about awakening sexuality. Given that, the dice represent the chance that you're taking by becoming sexually aware--and active. The colors represent the spectrum of sexuality.
And I'd replace all of the "I just did it" lines with "Now or Never." The song makes more sense then.
By the way, give the song more chances to breathe. You're stopping too often. It's distracting and annoying.

Also there is a new boy group (surprise there lol) called D1CE (pronounced dee-once) and their members have been on different survival shows (produce 101, boys24, and mixnine). They released music before their debut as a project to get their names out there and had their official debut August 1st with “Wake Up”. They describe it as a trap beat with brass sounds. It is sooooo good and I think you would enjoy it!

First of all, this Album is called "Sensuous" and it's supposed to represent their transition from boys to men, like recognizing and accepting themselves as mature individuals beyond mere boys. The person said that they think the colors represent the transition from one point to the other. It starts with red which often symbolizes anger and conflict (like a boy might feel when they're in a confusing time of their lives such as adolescence), and other times it symbolizes passion and drive (maybe finding a purpose they're passionate about has helped them overcome doubts and confusion); then they move to green, which symbolizes wisdom, maybe acceptance. And by the end there's a rainbow of colors represented all over the mv, which could be a hidden way to say whatever you find in your self discovery path, be it your sexuality, your beliefs, anything, it is perfectly valid because it's your own and you should just embrace it. Maybe this person was reading too much into it, but I agree with them and I think it does make sense.
